I mean, maybe the client aircraft has to be in your own group to be seen? It's weird because anyway it should be seen even if not in your own group. FC3 is still in beta so

Hmm what about setting the TAD network up? You have to communicate with the client to give a Group ID to him, the own ID doesn't really matter. Because maybe you can only see those in your group? (bug?)

I thought only the CBU87 were laggy. Something has to be optimized for sure, but admitt that he was pushing the limits with all those CBUs^^

Ok thx for your reply! No prob for the question 2, I'll use the Png + Wav capture anyway. I'm not interested to convert directly in Lagarith also, VirtualDub is fine to encode the image sequences. Of course I've read the topic about the video editing softwares and I've tried almost all of them. VirtualDub won't read the audio track of the video. It keeps saying that the audio isn't compatible (PCM). I'm thinking about installing a Linux OS and use Kdenlive. I edited this one with trakAxPC, but it's a time limited trial version... Last question sorry, I actually encoded my video in uncompresssed AVI after editing it with trakAx, but I'd prefer a software which can encode my video with the Lagarith (or at least a lossless codec), does Kdenlive encode in lossless format after editing? Because I really like to encode my video from Handbrake to upload it on Youtube ('cause I'm sure of the result). Blender looks interesting too, I'll give a try. Thx bud.

Flaming Cliffs 3 is now a DCS World module, it means you can fly the FC3's aircrafts in multiplayer with a guy playing Blackshark, A10C, P-51...

Yeah, I'm reading that book too, but what you didn't is that they were almost always spotted by the enemy and then taking fire. It really depends of the mission as someone said, most of the time, the TACP teams are walking for miles with a 60 kilos backpack to get into position, and they are rarely spotted taking that way...

Same than Erforce, I thought it was totally broken or my pc couldn't handle it because it was lagging so bad. I just made a video with the PNG sequence in Lock On FC2 and it so great!! If you really want to reinstall the OS, do it, that will be lethal^^. But if you know how to delete all the traces left by a software in the registry, then you can solve most of your issues. I know even when I use Unistall Tool to check the registry, there's still some keys in the registry and I have to supress it manually. So unistall your Freetrack and drivers with all the dependencies. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> software, then check for files called freetrack and your webcam driver and delete it. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> software (and even wow6432node) Also, check C:/Program Data, there could be persistent files (I don't think so with FT) Be careful with the registry, don't supress something only suspicious, be sure of the files! I cannot be responsible if you crash your system following my instructions. (I feel like a lawyer lol) If you only stay in the software files, the risks are really minimal. For your PS3 Eye driver, I strongly recommend you Driver Sweeper, it will delete everything for you and it's free ofc. Some peoples can find this as a DIY method but that's the way I find (I don't trust the cleaning softwares) to delete all the cr*p left by some annoying softwares (Arcsoft or songbird in particular!*flip table*), those registry files just avoid you to set all your settings back up after a software unistallation. Hold on!

Hmm ok, and what about trying to unistall Freetrack and supress all the entries in the registry, because the Windows reinstall dance is annoying...

That's a dream that everybody have, I mean playing the infantry from arma 2 combined with the aircrafts and ground vehicles from DCS, I'm pretty we will see a sim like that in the future. Compatibility and financial questions to resolve to make it happen...

I know that Freetrack 2.1 works with BS1 but with DCS World I'm not sure.... Btw I edited the line 27 as follow : NewInput.setHeadTrackerDllPath('./bin/headtracker/headtracker.dll') The path don't have to be full and led to C:/ blah blah. Start your path from bin. Give it a try! It doesn't work if the path isn't set correctly. Don't ever give up!! XD

Yes because unfortunately, the headtracker has been created to work with Freetrack 2.2... A french guy has got the same problem, he just bought a Logitech C920 with FaceTrackNOIR and it works.
