Hi, You have to download the 1.2.2 version of DCS World and your module on the ED website (there you go), the auto updater has been implemented with the 1.2.1 version, so you have to unistall the 1.2.0 version and then install the latest one. Once it's done, the auto updater will update automatically the files without deleting your profile as before. Useful tip : Install DCS World first and then run your module executable:smilewink: Of course, your product key will work fine, plus you will not have to install/launch it via Origin. Saving also some ressources when playing. (actually I don't remember if Origin stay in the background like Steam) Anyway. Conclusion : I blame Origin for giving you the 1.2.0 version... You have to do the reinstall dance with the whole DCS files in the 1.2.2 version :/ Welcome to that great sim and have fun!!:thumbup:

Don't hesitate, as Manuel said, you just need a stick (at least) and your love for the A10. Then the learning curve is nothing, the manual is well written, there's an interactive training really complete, and even if you feel lazy to do the rampstart or set the radio frequency for example, there's different options to decrease the difficulty and that way you can have a customized gameplay. But when you start the Hog for the first time with simulation gameplay on, you get the smile for 3 days long... About the bugs, it's a question of time and 2013 should be the good year... Seriously if the game would have been at 10$ when I bought it... :surprise:then:cheer3nc:then:smoke:... No restriction to buy it :D

After my PC upgrade in March, I said that I'll don't buy anything more now related to the PC until 2014 (excepted hardware issue). And the things I want to upgrade are my poor 19" screen and my CPU first, not a tracking device which is overpriced IMHO. I'll sure buy a Track IR, but I will wait the price to go down. No way, I've no money for that. There's no justice, we should have the choice, such I drive a Renault Clio while some drive a Ferrari... I pretty get what's the problem, when I enable the No backward Z movement, I can zoom out without freezing, also, I can avoid the crash, just by pressing the center button and waiting few seconds... There's nothing to "keep" the zoom in range and then it's frozen...

It happens when zooming in/out at the maximum, the game freezes, and I get this message when I get back to Freetrack, it's happening in Lock On FC2 and DCS World, but I can zoom in DCS World. Dafuq?!

Ok, I got the same stutters that you're describing, in a ramp start, the PC loads the textures when I look around then it's gone, and I think, you could have it even with a very high end PC, I would be surprised if you were getting bad FPS with that CPU/GPU, my core i3 is in the same scale, but I can't oc it, at 4Ghz you beat me easily, plus you have a nice graphic card, I dunno what's your PC screen but you should have something smooth and nice. Personally I'm med/high settings, I hit 45 FPS average, that's enough for me, but I'm running a 19" screen though. About the quantity of RAM, I think buying 16GB is an overkill to play, if you're encoding vids, using a ramdisk or softwares like 3DSMax, it can be useful. The frequency is more important... 8GB is enough. The sound card should be really helpful, I'm looking to buy one. Tell us the result!!

Totally right, I'd also say, that's a question of money, you can't crash a 60 millions dollars plane just because you think you're gonna crash, "oh damn the flight instruments are out?!! eject eject right now!!" :lol: (would be my case lol) because at the flight school, at least, in France, the instructor says : "There are peoples which everyday in a goddamn factory, office or whatever to earn money and then pay government taxes, that's allow you to learn how to fly a plane and be paid once you have done your graduation. Choose between DCS A10C 1.1.1.1 Standalone or DCS World 1.2.2, but the previous version of DCS W are a bad deal IMHO.
