As Blue CA let me tell you, at times coordination is a nightmare. Only guy I have been able to whisper to via channel commander was Xcom. Everyone please think about that. Luckily red is suffering the same coordination problems, they dont have whisper too. (as far as I can see) :D On the comms, sorry guys, I can totally understand the 104th. If there is a channel with 6+ people and the atmosphere is 'chatty' it will not be productive communications. By now I know most of the 'random pvpers' from flying on the 104th etc. and I have nothing personal against anyone. But please recognize this: Some people dont like off topic chatter while doing something focused. For me it doesn't have to be full brevity the whole times. There can be jokes, fun, banter but PLEASE not while there is ANY fighting at all going on. Once you hear any bandit, threat, objective etc. called out, shut your mouth, let the people speak and wait your turn. Step back and think if what you are saying is really that important. But also I am not going into another channel as guest and will then whine about how it's too loud/undisciplined. Everyone plays differently and that's a good thing, but we see the trouble when different mind sets & expectations meet. @Toast, that was a bad situation, I was getting really overwhelmed by chat, no whisper function yet and A LOT going on everywhere.

Clearly an issue with your server / your connection, I don't have these issues on the popular MP servers I regulary fly on.

You can also confirm that the parking brake is set via the control indicator.(rCtrl+enter)

You can also install DCS standalone over your Steam installation (in the default steam path) to still take advantage of the steam overlay/functions.

Nein nein, ich meine damit das du Äpfel und Birnen vergleichst. Das keiner CA als Human JTAC oder Ground Commander spielt ist einfach nicht wahr. Es wurde sogar schon ein Geschwader was öffentlich event's in der richtung macht hier verlinkt. Es gibt auch öffentliche Server, mit gut besuchtem TS wo es zusammenspiel zwischen CA& dem rest des Teams gibt, 159th fallen mir da direkt ein. Sogar noch Aufträge/support von Helis mit gescripted. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wenn jetzt jemand sagt, CA könnte viel mehr sein, da geht noch mehr - würde ich ja vollstens zustimmen. Aber CA erhebt eben nicht den Anspruch ein ArmA/Steelbeasts etc. konkurrent zu sein.

Ich merk schon, ich halte mich hier besser raus, sonst Ecke ich nur wieder an. Yurgon hat das schon ganz gut auf den Tisch gelegt. +1 altes Haus, man sieht sich nächsten 'Cross the Pond' event. :) Edit: Btw 104th schafft locker 50 MP slots, ich hab DCS-MP noch nie so stabil wie gerade gesehen. Ehrlich gesagt hat sich das doch alles richtig verbessert seitdem wir das OpenBeta system haben.

I am all for an CA human JTAC but the AI in DCS makes it a bit too easy. This would just reward the people that take off with 6x Mavs and 9x GBU-12's... While I realize that sometimes, that one Tank that drove into a tree line is sometimes very frustrating to find, but I would rather see this maybe in a a trigger that the next WP is up after only 1-3 units are alive. AI JTAC will just rattle down every unit without any teamplay, coordination & communication between human pilots. Just my 2 cents. :)

Will training bombs or any ordnance be allowed? TGP's, jammer etc.? I am asking this because I don't really like to fly with external tanks or traveling pods (A10C) but I will have a hard time getting on the tanker without any drag... *cough* Speedbrakes will do, but they look silly and are wobbly. :p Edit: Will tankers be on racetrack or orbit? Also is this maybe a typo, am I misunderstanding something, or is this to highlight that I have to always double check ATC info as to not follow wrong instructions? More noob questions to come. :)

Seems like I fail integrity check aswell. I tried disabling RAE RWR mod but still get kicked, BUT I have a lot of other mods (including sound). Right now I don't have the energy to try them all. (too hot^^) On a sidenote, there is some weird CTD with this aswell. Talon and me have both the same issue, if we connect to any other server, no problems. AFTER we try to connect to 104th & get booted and connect to any other server the game crashes. Is that normal after a failed integrity check?

Read the thread again, people refuted your points already. For example, not everyone uses a TM HOTAS Warthog, and even has Target or 3-way switches. "What are you even complaining about instead of doing a custom script for a 400$ joystick software!" The simple fact of the matter is that a MiG-21 pilot can use his damn left hand to do this shit and not take his right hand of the stick(*click*click*). Once LN models that I will stop complaining about wepon selector rotary & gear switches.^^ edit: And sorry if my tone is somewhat aggressive but I just reread this topic and some people just pop in here to tell us "you just don't appreciate the realism!" ... that really pisses me off. Either people didn't read this thread or outright ignore the legitimate complains of many users who explained their troubles. "Grab the Keyboard!" can not be the solution.

Yes please somebody do this. Weeks go by when I don't shoot a single bullet from a plane, just doing general training stuff. A dedicated civi plane like a Cessna would be awesome.

Apo Probably A-10C Germany ~4 hours Since this is still so far out I can't promise 100% that I can make the full 4 hours. Also I would love some kind of cross-country-landing route + tankers? The sea get's so dull and landing here and there might be a little fun? I am also up for weather & night flying. Just suggestions. :)

When I go afk in the K4 for ~1 hour and come back to DCS, the plane is broken. At some point the engine stopped, still fuel in the tanks and the engine won't start again. Anyone able to explain to me what happens here?

Normally when you start the 'Briefing'-page is open, when you click 'Fly' the sim should unpause.
