It crashes when i select the loadout.

Did you check for your maximum weight in the rearm&refueling window? Maybe he automatically stops if you go above it. I could def. get 100% fuel.

I wanted to create a topic and ask if something was tweaked with the Tanker or rather the boom operator. I always had massive problems to get connected and suddenly it works nearly everytime. Now the operator even plugs me in after a 'sub optimal'-approach. :) Even more, when I get disconnected and quickly hit nosewheel button often he will reconnect me right away. Is this normal? Was it already like this before and now I just have found the "steady hand" needed for the job...? (A10C)

VHF AM/FM interchangeable? Hi there, on the VHF AM&FM radios is a knob (Frequency Selection Dial in the Tooltipp) with the settings "FM, AM, MAN & PRE". I guess manual&and preset are obvious but what are FM & AM for? For a second I thought both radios were interchangeable (to use as FM&AM) but that didn't work out. Can anyone clear this up for me, what are they for? :D

Hey FreeFall, I might be totally wrong here, but wasn't the whole "take loadout x" replaced by the rearming & refueling window? (For those that maybe haven't played with the new patch, where once was under 'ground crew' -> ' Rearming' and lot's of different loadouts, now is just "Rearming & Refuel'-window) Also if you are already aware of that and there is another way to load 'preset loadouts' please do tell. Sorry for engrish, very long awake here. :)

Another really small thing: On my screen 1920x1080, the whole "configuration" window stretches about the whole screen under my taskbar. The buttons which are "safe" and "exit" i guess, are hidden. I need to pull down my taskbar to reach them. :) Just really small thingy i noticed.

I can't use modifiers for the hotkeys (select radio for example) for my JOYSTICk (keyboard works fine). What i want to do, Push button 11 + POV hat to select X. Would that be possible? Can't wait to try this, awesome dude! (I just noticed, I can't bind the POV hat at all. My joystick is Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X (not hotas ver.)

RedRain obviously didn't read the thread and has no idea what he is talking about. The information is readily available on these forums and everyone knows it's problems at ED that hold up the Huey. Add to that the recent sad loss of life and nobody can 'demand' or 'expect' anything soon (be glad if ED manages to fix the issues soon that hold 1.2.4 up). One could argue this is a very weak trolling attempt. Even the attitude suggests a small spoiled child, which even has the gall to accuse others of behaviour he is guilty of himself. (Living in mum's basement lol) Made me rage a little. I am a fixed wing guy, probably won't buy a Heli anytime soon. BUT even if I can't support them with money right now, Belsimtek has my full moral support. These guys are great and have done a great deal of work in a very short time. Don't **** with them or we (the 'cult') will rip your head off!

Normally I just search with TGP and make the target SPI, after that a mark point. (I am doing that because if I do something stupid / have to abort before I fired a weapon i may loose the target to a mountain or something)

I play Project Reality, which is a BF2 MOD. They have a custom Mumble client, that automatically joins and moves you to the right Server, Team and Squad channel. (Think BF2 9 squads+commander) There you just push a numblock key (0-9) to talk with other squadleaders, even a local chat (3d like ACRE) works. This works like a charm! I have never seen any other game where people just accept team wide communication without whining of "but I don't like using program x", "Alt tabbing out to connect is just too much of a hassle" or just "I dont like talking to people over the internet!". Everyone is on comms, it is enforced by admins (No PR:Mumble? Kick.) and most of all accepted by the community. Now PR is a mod that is only exciting because of it's teamplay, but now i ask you guys, isn't DCS only "really" exciting when you fly with others? Or most of all, against other organized, communicating teams? On public servers there is just no way to get people on communication. I don't know why, but DCS pubbers just don't seem to like it. There are some servers where you have a crowd of regulars that will join the respective TS servers, but at most a handfull of people. A program, (that doesn't even have to come from some official party I guess) that automatically joins, switches and mutes players or gives a TARS like support would go ways to enable realistic and rewarding team play in MP. Right now, FC3 is not really fit to be working with the likes of TARS. But do you guys really want to have big pvp battles with DCS level aircrafts, not only BS2& A10C but later on fast movers - and not have a widely accepted platform where everyone can meet? A TS3 plugin that automatically joins you on the right Server&channel would go long ways towards this and with TARS like features would just be awesome.

I wan't them! If only to have my "Fly 2 hours in direction X and bomb the shit out of Y without dying!" mission. 5 minutes away from the target I will die to human error. GIEV NAO!

Yes, sadly i noticed that... But since the patch seems to be delayed again maybe we can hope that this issue gets some more attention? :3 It is really annoying when you can't travel with your trusty F15 from Airfield to Airfield.

I have the same problem with for example Winamp(Global Hotkeys). Same issue, right?

Be happy that you are allowed to have some "toys" at all! Basically my whole social circle thinks I am nuts in respect to flight sim. What will they say when I buy a Hotas Warthog+Peddals? :P

What is it with the F15's on blue and 30% fuel? That takes forever!

Any news on this if it is fixed in 1.2.4 and most importantly, anyone got work a work around? Sometimes its possible as long as you don't bounce, at which speeds do you best archive that? With or without speedbreaks&flaps? :)

Maybe buy as a gift to get others into DCS? :)

I just have winamp running in the background. More importantly what kind of "cliché-flight-music" do you hear? DAAAAANGEEEER ZOOOONE in a F15 sure, what else? :D
