What use it that when you can't play without crashing?

I have no joystick atm and was kind of 'forced' to explore CA and must admit I only really had fun in multiplayer playing together with other people. But with VOIP I had REALLY great times! :) Disabling SAM and calling in CAS that leaves a field of wrecks... good stuff! =) But CA still needs lots of love from ED, can't deny that.

Einfachste weg ist Start Menü, Ausführen "<C:\GamePath\>DCS WORLD\bin\DCS_updater.exe update <versions nummer>" Nun haben wir ein kleines problemchen, normalerweise gibt man die exakte versions nummer an. Im moment ist das z.b: 1.2.6.17746. Ob das jetzt auch funktioniert wenn du nur 1.2.5 angibst weiss ich nicht, musst du mal ausprobieren. Es könnte aber sein das wenn das fehlschlägt du ebend fix ne reparatur durchlaufen lassen musst.

I know, and I have done that and have paid that way in the ED store around the time when FC3 came out and went on sale for the first time. I also bought the Mustang that way. My confusion is about the fact that I can't pay the same way for the Mi-8. :helpsmilie:

You misunderstood me. Paypal has the option to book from your bank account via direct debit. But as I understand shops can decline to allow this payment method. In that case you can only pay via a credit card or money you have already on your paypal account. In my case I want to pay via paypal (which I can select) and then use direct debit to let paypal collect from my bank account directly. I hope that clarifys it, thanks for checking though! :)

Hi everyone, if i remember right, when i bought the Mustang&FC3 over the ED store i paid with paypal-direct debit. This is sadly not possible with the Mi-8 and it states that only payment via a credit card is possible. (With paypal) My questions: Is this only for the Mi-8 and is this maybe an error or a temporary thing? I will send money to my paypal account and hopefully it will arrive before the 30th. But I really wish to be able to use direct debit with paypal just for convenience sake. You guys emptied my paypal acc out on a steam sale after all...! :3

The problem with TARS etc. is simple: it's third party. Think, of a public server population of 10, how many are in the respective TS server? How many of those are willing to use TARS? Now compare this with: Just jump into the Plane, start your radios and go ahead. If there is any kind of problem - administration is the way to go. You are sleeping and people riot on your server? Np give give trusted people admin rights. I can see how some people might argue that the time is badly spent, because there is already a 3rd party solution. Well let us meet at the middle ground then: Integrate TARS into DCS so that when you join a server you get automatically moved to the right TS-Server/Channel. Now server admins would have the option to auto-kick people that are not on comms - *BOOM* DCS just went BMS! :) ProjectReality:Mumble anyone? :P

This not a purely ED-steam problem, i have the same issue for another game I bought from steam right now.^^

I think we need a thread like this with ALL known bugs& a link to their respective threads. Maybe a status if ED is working on a fix/aware or better if the bug is even confirmed and of course version numbers! :) If there is such a "known issues" list I apologize for not finding it. :D The forum is cluttered like nothing else, I am on many forums and nowhere is chaos like here. Finding something you are looking for is often a chore, and something like this, that is kept up to date would be wonderful to navigate through the problems that each patch can bring. But of course those things should be kept on topic and not mixed up with "I paid x$ - FIX IT NAO!"-whine. :)

The TM Hotas Warthog for example registers as two devices (throttle&stick), rudder pedals are even a third. So yes I think its safe to say you can clear the bindings on one joystick and only use certain functions. And bind the rest to another device. Just make sure no bindings conflict with each other.

How about you give us a 'little' more detail about your problem? We can't read your mind and your post was as useless as it was insulting. Yes ED is a real company which I bought 3 modules from this morning and activated with no problem. :thumbup: edit:Obviously I was wrong and there are some people that can read minds! =)

Check Dragons Training/mission's I found them to be just in the sweet spot for the A10. He has racetrack+orbit ones, check in his mission how he did it. ^^

To clarify: Steam -> Library -> *Right Click on DCS:World* -> View CD Key

Hey no hard feelings, I just wanted a source for that statement and since we clarified it was conjecture on your part everything is fine. I just wanted to make clear for everyone that thinks about buying ED products that they can freely interchange the Keys between the platforms. (Even if delayed and of course FC3 not included) Keep in mind that language barrier I am hiding behind. I didn't want to offend you with any 'odd remarks'.

Ok that is weird, I am at work right now and can't check my own steam. Anyone else has this? I am glad I bought everything already, only Mi-8 missing now. :3 But was thinking of getting 1-2 more modules as gifts.

This would massively anger a lot of people with no real gain. Sending some mails to from ED to Steam with some keys and the other way around is not a big workload I believe.

Testers are just that - testers. They don't have any info on the release shedule of modules that are months or rather years away. Keep that in mind to avoid misunderstandings. :)
