  1. True but I don't think it is any different to the Red players that refused to play because 'going against the AIM-120C is pointless'.
  2. Don't worry it was 2:1 when round 5 kicked off also, it is called balance. BuddySpike know Red are all powerful so must balance it up. :D
  3. I thought Blue had it in the bag last night, 30+ vs 6 pushed all the way to Maykop and still the Blue night shift to go, what happened? I suggest they uninstall immediately. :P
  4. It is a pain being locked up by the friendly AI whenever they're around.
  5. AI MiG29s carry R-27R, R-73 and R-60, 2 of each.
  6. There is no challenge from the AI whatsoever, the only time taking a base out becomes troublesome is caused by two factors time and real opponents. On a good day one 25T can kill both AI fighters and kill every unit in one flight, just imagine what ten players could do against the AI.
  7. Yep, hit one with an R-60 last night, he didn't even see it, why did I bother, as expected it didn't even scratch the paintwork.
  8. Keep tarnishing the whole red team by the actions of a few, this BS back and forth crap is why I wish the Buddy Spike team would make this a closed event and remove the e-peen, stirrers and troublemakers.
  9. AI is not a good gauge of how to fight BVR, the real deal is facing real players. A simple snake manoeuvre in the Mirage works just fine against AI F-15C with AIM-120, i'm sure crank and dive works just as well, my time spent in the Mirage equals about 10mins but achieved this without too much problem, still a lot to learn but lock button and fire button work fine. :D Mirage v F-15.txt.rar
  10. Perhaps adding some Tors and more units. At the moment just 1 Su25T can clear an airbase in about 10 mins.
  11. Mirage turns far better than any other aircraft in DCS has similar to AIM-7 plus AIM-9, powerful radar, uber damage model and Blue ones are now taking off from Krasnodar. I hope you keep Mirage on Red side too. ;)

  14. 38 MiG-21 kills, what I should have said was 80-90% MiG-21/23 type a/c kills. The only fighter of the same generation as we have in FC3 is the MIG-29 and they accounted for less than 8% of the F-15s kill record. These were by USAF F-15s facing inferior vastly outnumbered opposition while also having advantages of AWACS controllers and jamming the inferior tech countries GCI. And half of those kills were with AIM-120 equipped fighters. F-15 armed with AIM-7 vs MiG-29A with R-27R = 5-0 (not all Aim7 kills) Su27 armed with R-27R vs MIG-29A with R-27R = 2-0 (no R27 kills) Not great stats to draw any conclusions from and certainly nothing there to claim out right superiority over Su27 using R27ER with an F-15 using AIM-7. Bear in mind that the MiG-29As shot down are inferior exported versions and importantly have weaker radars, don't have Jammers, and don't carry the R-27ER like the MiGs and Flankers in Flaming Cliffs. You're trying to say a sheep is the same as a wolf.
  15. MiG-29A is a sheep compared to the Flanker. The only Fulcrums worse than a MiG-29A were 5 poorly maintained Iraqi MiGs that were shot down by F-15s, apparently they didn't even have a reliable RWR system. About 80-90% of the F-15 kill record is made up of MiG-21s, hardly the stuff of Flaming Cliffs.
  16. No doubt that over stresses the airframe, it was part of a comparison of what happens when you overstress particular airframes in DCS after you claiming a certain DCS airframe couldn't do 14g.

  18. No, in light of this is what happens to a Flanker at 8-9g with half a tank of fuel and no weapons. Eagle did 18g performing a flick roll and can always pull 14g in a turn, both with 3 full bags and a full payload.
  19. +1 Sometimes I have to mute TS, the hysterics of foul play about the make up of the campaign can be nauseating. Happy to see the BS team take the humour route to these complaints, legends.
  20. Full, the only way to add more weight would be putting some AIM-54s on, i'm sure it would handle that also. :)

  22. I guess they're perturbed by the fact that an unloaded 50% fuel load Flanker breaks its wings at 9g when at mach whilst an F-15 with full load and 3 bags can do 14G at mach with no compromise to the airframe or stores.

  24. I understand the theory of how the wings break, but currently in the sim when we approach these limits we don't have a tightening of the controls or vibration warning as is documented in the real world manual.
  25. Clearly not notching, above the radar and still locked, clear sky, no ground clutter coming into it. The fact is if no chaff was deployed the missiles would have hit.
