thank you for your interest yo-yo:) at higher speeds ,is the agility same for elevator? i specially wonder about it. can a real flanker perform cobra at all speeds without any friction force limit? is increasing speed doesnt have any pressure on elevator movement?

i made an example track it looks weird even at lower speeds. where is the air friction? test friction.trk

take off and close asc, gain speed to 1000kmh or higher. you'll feel that aircraft is still sensitive like it is on low speeds. the force that make the wing flex is only a visiual on dcs flanker,it is not exists i guess this is his problem ''Sure, control surfaces wont move any faster with load on them' with this reason, plane turns or moves at more wider angles but our flanker is nearly same at all speeds.

i ve just tested:) at 800knots i moved the rudder left to right and movement gone wild. it like saying big no no no no:) yes there is no friction on rudder but f-15 has mass friction force on elevator and aileron like it has to be. lets hope a fix for flanker

fsx physic engine is limited and buggy if you compare with DCS. note: it don't disturbs you if you fly with airliner or civilian aircrafts but if you want to push the limits of a fighter aircraft, fsx is not recommended. -

but if you start to gain speed when asc deactive, there is still no affect on pilot and aircraft too. pilot blackout only happens when you close the asc suddenly while you reach over 800-900kmh friction is missing at high speeds.

friends ,thank for your interests! ironhand thank you for attentive analyzing:) at all my tracks ,i have used rudder because of testing that if it is helping the turn movement. but i've noticed that there is no rudder function while turning down. yes your observations true ,at the top of cobra, i've used opposite elevator to pull back left and left thrust to turn right down edit: i've installed todays new patch and just performed the same maneouvre with no rudder,only elevator with supplying thrust and performed it more quicker i guess. but more tests needed. cobraturn test Track.trk

thank for your interest ironhand:) as you say this manouevre can be only perform with split throttle. i tried different combinations but no way to perform it without split throttle. if your timing is good you dont enter spin with using opposite thrust. Edit:before 1.2.14 patch this manouevre cannot be performed even with split throttle. i guess they improved asc. before that patch ,asc worked only for disable the limiter of pitch rotation but now, it disables all rotations. that is good improvement:) those are my other tests if you want to check: _LastMissionTrack1.trk _LastMissionTrack3.trk

thanks for comment, you enlightened me because i've always suspicions about wiki informations. when first days of su-27 beta release,i had mistaken about cobraturn issue which is also mentioned on wiki. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=134057 this is weird but now with 1.2.14 patch flanker can perform this maneouvre:) maneouvre is not certain like su-35 but su-27 is about to perform that maneouvre. i noticed that, with 1.2.14 patch ,yaw rotation increased and that allows us to move aircraft both sides at high aoa when asc off this is my cobra turn test track, not perfect but i'm about to perform it. _LastMissionTrack2.trk

thank you! i've g940 i reassingned throttle and that corrected my problem. i hurried a lot to fly with it and that escaped from my attention:)

dear friends, I've just purchased that beast and had a test flight. at runaway start, despite it is on idle position aircraft starts to run with full throttle. and when i move throttle to maximum ,power stops like it is on idle position. this problem happens only for mig. i tried to reverse throttle settings on axis menu but that didnt helped.

devrim, i have just tested and yes ,that seems more realistic on daylight! default one is not for daylight but it looks good at night ,early morning and evening. after your mod ,afterburner lights can not be seen from different distances like it is on real life:) günümü gün ettin, sağol devrim! i guess ,in the end ,all fc3 aircrafts will be hold in high honour by ED :) as we know from current flanker and eagle that it is worth the wait for a while.

Dcs default afterburner effect looks very visible from close and far distances on daylight. Devrim, your afterburner effect image looks more like that one:) is it possible to have that mod?
