Unless my memory fails me it's actually quite the opposite
1- the M2000 carries chaff/flare without an additional dispenser
2- the option of extra chaff/flare replaces the parachute so no extra drag
3- I thought actually the Mig-21 is the one that needs a pod for chaff/flare?
EDIT: forget all the above - I had my mind on the Mirage!
Zeus, really appreciate you taking the time to post all this info about the radar, missiles, etc. Keep it up! (and PLEASE do the F-15E after this module )
Sven, many thanks for taking the time to answer, I will keep fingers crossed! :music_whistling:
Also I just want to say that to me the way you communicate with us is great as you give us info but at the same time you try not over-promise with crazy lists of aircraft, so please just keep it that way!
I agree - just getting tired of seeing a few members trying to hold development of western jets because they want to see more Russian jets...
Sorry for them but most polls place western planes ahead (which does not mean that 3rd party will not develop them - see MiG-21)
Maybe people are just more interested in western aircraft? I know that's definitely the case for me, probably Hollywood's fault as well as books etc.??
Have a look at the result from RAZBAM's query http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2588249&postcount=102, the first eastern plane is number 12 on the list...
Talking about that new F-5E-3, I had a 1-1 guns only fight against the AI in an F-15C yesterday and at some point the F-5 zoomed from 10,000 ft to 70,000ft at 70 degrees pitch, leaving me far behind! I hope we get to keep these engines ;)
