  1. Personnally, my main concern with Nevada and Hormuz maps is that I think too much time is devoted to creating a realistic rendition of the large cities and, although it is really nice to have, I would happily trade this against larger maps. The recent screenshots of Hormuz - showing details of Dubai - are don't seem reassuring on that subject... :(
  2. Thanks Razbam for your transparency!
  3. I can assure you that the day I started doing coordinated turns on the A-10 (using rudder into the turn), I discovered a whole new level of performance as the plane bleeds much less airspeed while turning  Rudder pedals are definitely a must for non-FBW planes and for all choppers :joystick:
  4. I disagree, IMHO that this is to reduce the size of the map on the hard drive (and ot is also faster and cheaper to produce lower resolution areas)
  5. Thanks Pat, how about basic "autopilot" when player is in copilot seat (same as what we have on the UH-1)?

    DCS Tucano

From experience, large public companies will be more opposed than small ones to have one or more months without revenue!!! Shareholders expect returns, they're not there for charity
  7. Same here, H!!!
  8. This would be great - I just hope that we'll get in in this lifetime :(
  9. Are you sure? I thought it was laser-guided
  10. I have issues of wingmen ejecting nearly every mission, even though I try to save their fuel (going slow after take-off so they can catch up, etc.). It seems that when we change directions they take forever to react (even when the turn is their way), use the airbrake and then catch-up with afterburner. So far that is the main issue I have with the campaign, too bad because apart from that it is truly immersive.
  11. That was not an overstatement! Just finished the first mission and don't think I've ever felt so immersed in DCS! Great to see the involvement of Steve Davies - I love your book on the mud hen! (hope you can help Razbam when they make theirs for DCS!) Big kudos to ED an partners

    F-15E?

Unfortunately the A/G radar is the basis of the mud hen's weapon system... Not much you can do without it on the typical night strike missions of the plane. Also a beta missing such a big feature for many months would create frustration among the player base (think of Hawk and C101 missing AFM...) However i would urge Razbam to start coding all other systems already so we can have the plane quickly on e the A/G radar is released! :music_whistling:
  13. I agree with you and would assume (or should I say hope?) that the map will be included with the aircraft
  14. I think people already know you are no longer on this project, it was mentioned earlier (in this very thread I believe). In my opinion the part in bold above is just you trying to settle old scores with Aviodev and I don't think it reflects very positively on you

    ARMAT?

    +2, fully agree :)
  16. I used to never bother with coordinated turns in the A-10C, but since I have started using the rudder to keep the ball centered I now have better turn rate and I bleed less speed during turn (and we all know that in the Hog, when you bleed off speed it takes forever to get it back!!)

    F-15E?

Would be nice to have JDAM and "man in the loop" weapons though...

    F-15E?

Yeah we need some love for the albino as well ;)
  19. I don't understand why we need an option when we can just keep it real as per below post from Azrayen? This should satisfy everyone, if in a hurry just need to use the ALCM mode.

    F-15E?

Prowler, you just made my day (or even month/year)!
  21. Fully agree, I would buy a Hercules, C-17 or A400M but not a civilian airliner (except Concorde I guess!)
  22. Since that's your first post maybe you don't know, but F/A-18C and P-47D are both in the works from ED
  23. Polychop team, thanks a lot for the update, the future looks very bright! I am also quite impressed at the support you have from real life pilots and mechanics as well as (apparently) good relationships with manufacturers to get licenses. I wish you all the best for 2016!
  24. Eurocopter Tigre HAD confirmed? :pilotfly:
  25. Just went through the manual and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and content, thanks Aviodev and I'm looking forward for the release of AFM and CC!
