Patch 1.13 Requested Features/Fixes List (*Merged)
cool_t replied to Colt40Five's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Hi there. Temperature varinces on Fighter performance. Meteorlogical factors takin in on the "Micro" scale, storms, High pressure systems, warm-cold fronts, jet stream influence, useing storms to hide your attack point to shoot all 8 120s on one bandit and he's so good that you need to go gunzo on him to make him eject. :drink: -
:) Yaaaa what he said. :holiday:

Optimum maneuvering speeds for missile evasion?
cool_t replied to tmdgm's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
:) Put your self in a point where your bandit cant shoot you then you dont need to think about missile evasion, then your set up for the next kill. Missile evasion is different for where you are, alt, speed, fuel load, mission, in-egression, and where you want to be after the bandits missile misses. (Thats why there called "MISSiles"). -

cool_t replied to Legolasindar's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Well Above all Air to Air, as mentioned ground targets are boring and they cant figure out your tactics. Fighter incursions on the other hand in On-line combat, there is a live person trying to figure out how to get in and out of the battle weaving in and out of SAM WEZ, watching fuel consumption "Potential energy", senaking in the back with a suprise attack, figuring out how to kill 2 A-50s in one flight, IFF, systems managment overload, when to engage a bandit or just let him go past you, kenetic energy management, push, pull, drag the bandit(s), go guns on a SAM implacement, plan an egress plan, and oh I forgot Shoot all 8 120s at one bandit then bring that F-15c back home! :pilotfly: -
Wisconsin? Wisconsin? Like I said befor, I could do all of the leg work, ect. Ive set up conventions befor in the gaming industry. :pilotfly:

hi Right, Things under the hood sound great. Do you think that there will be some sort of "Punk-Buster"? for on line playing. Thanks,

RGR Was there yesterday with some nice action. Me and my bud were sniffing out the RED TEAMS AWAX. 169th Wolverene and another mig pilot did a good job in defending the local air-space near the RED AWAX. Great to see another good comunity invite and some good people setting up a server for us players. Thanks again for your time and dedication 104th

Ok Mr GG Did you read the rules no personal attaks. You do not know who, what, where, my education level, programing experience, ect. JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WITHOUT GETTING PERSONAL! :pilotfly:

Thanks for your responce, Number 7, Its not that I think they will do a "Bad moddel" of the F-15 im wondering if we will run into the same issue of ED "Making the fighter Jets fair" like we saw in Flaming Clifs with the F-15, 120, AIM9, F-15 high alt performance, IFF, ect. Or will we get the jets moddeled right reguardles of its the Mig29, Su-27, F-15. I think my question can be answered by some of the big fish at ED. 8. The reason why I ask is due to the fact that some people "Hack" LOFC code. Will there be a safe guard or some sort of "Punk-Buster" to asure fair ON LINE gamming? We dont have any protection in LOFC. I cant wait for the Black Shark to come out it looks great its going to be a good time learning all of the thingamajigerdoohickies on the KA-50. :joystick:

IR Missile Tone in the Russian heaters.
cool_t replied to IvanK's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Tone and Vector You need to be in a good "LOFT" point in the fight. Read what your EOS "Electro Optical System" provides then move the jet into a good DLZ "Dynamic launch Zone" Your Bandit might pull a "Carazy Ivan" on you then you need to relie on "Luck" or the "Force" or the "Lend-lease-Act" to sail you into victory. :joystick::angel: -

Hi, for the people who have seen the BLACK SHARK and Played it I have a few questions for you. 1. Is the "Screen Shot" going to be a problem like in Flaming Clifs? 2. 10 meter radar bug fixed? 3. Can you control weather paterns in mission editor? 4. Extended On Line playing, will we need to "Exit then Re-enter" the servers to get our frame rates back up? 5. Will BS be compatible with "MOD-MAN" or will we need a new "MOD" management system? 6. What "Features" does "Digital" have that makes it a "Stand alone" softwear platform, or the difference between LOMAC engin and the DCS? 7. When fighters are released like the F-15 will it be "Modeled" properly or will we experience another comunity breakdown like FC release. 8. With 40+ programers working on DCS can we be asured that "Hacks" will not be possible in the DCS? 9. Also as I have stated on previous topics, RECRUTEMENT AND MARKETING DCS. WILL ED RETHINK THERE MARKETING TACTICS? Example, yes Wal-Mart, Best-Buy, ect, will floor DCS and ED has a consumer base which is known. I truly feel that we can take DCS to the next "LEVEL" in the consumers eye. We need more conventions, public awearness, and contests. As we all know "Black Sea Show Down, Red-Flag, Coop-Archer, ect- Has tightened the "SMALL" LOMAC comunity togeather. I truly feel that if ED and external team members "Show there faces" or at least "Stop in to chat" our grass root operations will sead new players and also will keep ED consumers with in the ED product venue. We know ED and team works hard but some of us consumers would like to see DCS take a new leap in comunication, consumer input, comunity involvement, and pride in our HOBBY. Theres tons of talent out there but being uniqe is a whole new realm of being. look outside the "Box" :pilotfly:

New Interview with Jim Mackonochie from Simware 08'

Wow! Very nice guys, indeed a good job! Also I like the attention to detail as well! See ya soon! T:pilotfly:

Yes! The A-10 in LOMAC is a great SEAD air-craft. Yes I use the rudders also with what you mentioned. Here is somthing good for you. Go to your mission editor and set up a small sam site like Avengers, SA8, Stinger missiles, ect. Then try different aproach vectors useing the rudder on one run then no rudder on the next. You will find that there is a "Snap" in a defencife move when you rudder right or left and split S to avoid missiles or AAA. Make sure you have some speed and you will see what im talking about. :pilotfly:
