  1. Hey guys, done a few searches looking for this issue I've been seeing in my missions. I can replicate it everytime and have changed a number of things in the mission editor including BX points and the RB15 properties. Basically I have 4 ship flight including myself but with 3AI all loaded with RB15s and pre-set BX points. When I get to my release point I arm and fire with no issues however when I direct the flight to engage the ships, they split off and get really close to the ships and when they do eventually release their RB15s, the RB15 kind of floats off their rails underneath and explode and therefore killing the AI too. Am I doing something wrong or is this known behaviour? Regards Ward8124 -=Shrek69=-
  2. I've just got mine gents. Really pleased with it so far and will put a review up after a few more days of testing but so far so good!
  3. Ok agreed but it's not the fact that Redout/Blackout/Gloc happens its the speed at which it happens in the SIM i.e. Instant. I'm happy for the pilot to experience the effects but at a realistic rate.
  4. Yes the pilots will have a bad time at 6Gs if not correctly suited and doing their high G breathing techniques but this is insta-blackout. Even looking through many hours of youtube footage of pilots in a centrifuge pull 6+ Gs NONE of them black out immediately. Fast I've seen G-Loc'd is about 3-5 seconds which is PLENTY of time for us to release pressure on the stick to recover.
  5. Gents, just need a sense of opinion on this one. Does anyone else feel that the blackout on the viggen through relatively minor manoeuvres or negative G in some cases is far too immediate i.e instant blackout once turn/change has been perfromed? I'd expect the usual gradual grey to black out just not a insta-blackout. Quite annoying TBH as you rarely can get the aircraft back under control and is pretty much a dead cert crash :(
  6. The amount of times I've nearly planted myself in to the deck after take off due to this.....this is good news!
  7. Agreed Newy, price is a tad high. Pus add to the fact that there's no tactile feedback once you click a switch so it's literally waving your finger in the air until you see the switch flick rather feel a click. It does have potential but not for me just yet.
  8. Top work this! Would be great to hear the missile tones in here too but that will come. Extremely useful training tool and should be a stick IMHO.
  9. No sweat just wondered if I'd missed the boat on this! Good luck!
  10. Link doesn't seem to work gents, is this tool still online?
  11. Loving this, all those switches would be very useful though I wouldn't want to have to re-map them all!!! Great work mate!
  12. Thanks for posting. Some more feedback, agreed with Lemoen. If we can get the video without commentary and shortened that will speed our "Ear training" up. Also, please include missile warning tones and launches too please. Great work none the less and something I've been trying to understand more.
  13. This is a no brainer for me and I'll be getting the 1080TI as soon as I can. I always got the top TI of the class and it normally sees me through 2 years no worries until the next gen comes out. VR is only going to get more hungry on GPUs so I'd future proof at the earliest opportunity. If you've already go a 1080 then I can see why you'd not upgrade but IMHO - do it once and then stick to TIs you'll not regret it. My 980TI is still going strong.
  14. How about we go halves on buying these two?
  15. Yup they will do nicely, just need to negotiate the shipping costs though! I might need to make the louvres as I've been googling for a day now and can't find any!
  16. Does anyone know where I can source the switches shown in the pic as well as the side vent or know something that will be as close as I can get to it? Need the vent the most really. Cheers all
  17. Next thing you need to worry about will be trying to determine the QFE of your chosen target but this is at least a start as I've wondering the same thing about killing targets of opportunity.
  18. Yes mate it is from a Tornado! Got a really nice solid action! So I've removed the mag lock so I can operate the lever. I've also disassembled the level itself as I believe the LEDs are 28V fed and so I can't or know how replicate the voltage easily. I decided to remove the LEDs and will get some red LEDs and replace them. I will then wire these to the plug and then to a leobodnar or something along these lines to power them when the contacts are closed. Need a bit more thought but I'm pretty sure it's doable.
  19. Anyone had the same problem with the Rudder trim? I crank it over to max and it makes next to bugger all difference and I still end up yawing to the right. Did check axis and rudder calibration but no issues there?
  20. Ok I've kind of got a "problem" now and need to pull back on spending! I've just bought this for the pit with intentions to plug in to a leobodnar....
  21. TAKE MY MONEY! No seriously, can I put my name on the pre-orders list plz?
  22. I agree, this would be a great new dynamic for the SIM and open a lot of possibilities for different types of mission and responsibilities.
