Updated to the latest release version 2.5.5.32533 STILL no way to select "ultra" in the settings.

With the latest release version 2.5.5.32533 the sound of the A-10C is much better. Only the two files responsible for the annoying, far too loud, rumble noise remain, and are these: A10InHeAmbL.wav A10InHeAmbR.wav Found in \Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Engines. I just reduced the volume of these with a wave editor again, so that's fixed.

I am using the Mavericks correctly, as I have done for years now. With the latest release version 2.5.5.32533 Maverick AGM 65D perfectly locked on target (T-90) but not hitting it, random, about half of the time.

Well, the first good deed would be to fix that stuttering of the Normandy map...... It is indeed the ONLY map that stutters, especially at low altitude. Caucasus, Nevada and PG are perfectly fine.

And it is not only in VR... Of all the maps in DCS, Normandy (especially when close to the ground), presents a lot of stuttering, wich under the very same circumstances is not at all present in any of the other maps.

I would gladly pay for an upgrade for the glorious A-10! It's been a great ride, but it begins to feel the years... The droplets don't work, but more importantly, the lightning is messed up, formation lights / nose illumination are not seen from the outside, but they light up the cockpit like Christmas, landing lights far too weak.....

Yes, but even respecting all this parameters, the CBU‘s usable with the A-10 abd eventually with (seems) the F-16 are in any case much more efficient, as explained by many others in this thread.
