  1. It's the PALIT GeForce version of the GTX 560 with 2 GB VRAM, GDDR5, Memory Interface: 256bit, Graphics Clock: 810 MHz, Processor Clock: 1620 MHz. Between the min. & best DCS requirement, my Computer Specs are a little above the average...
  2. The option to change Frequency is abled (in grey) but it seems there's no clear command to alter it, or could it be here the : "Advanced Clock Calibration"? (see attachment)
  3. I went into the Bios to check that Hyperthread option, but couldn't find it, or maybe I've used the wrong door? Can you give me the short cut? Thanks.
  4. OK, I'll try that... That sounds reasonable... Yet how comes in FSX both CPU and GPU go their maximum? Are you sure about that, because the CPU Performance in the Task Manager shows that all CPU cores are in operation during DCS. In my case all six of them. As a lot of Simmers are constantly having FPS problems with each Update, It wouldn't be a bad idea if DCS would embed an option like the Xtrem FSX Booster V2 Add-On App - from FSP for FSX, that can read the hardware and adjust automatically the Graphics to the optimal setting!
  5. I'll check that... I was also looking for the GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 you bought, but I'm not sure if I'll have to fetch myself first a new motherboard, because mine has a 2.0 Bus Support, whereas the 970 has a PCI-E 3.0 Bus Support. Even if it is compatible I think there'll be a loss in power.
  6. Thanks for the tipp, looks very promising, I'll check that up... Attached is my Graphics Setting The main emphasis is, if my Graphics Settings are too high, shouldn't DCS boost my total CPUs to the maximum? Why doesn't it surpasses 35%? Before the update it used to go as high as needed and also the GPU was pumping high, as the sound of the cooling fan was obviously getting loud and clear. There is definitely something wrong here. Now my FPS is not going over 20. Really frustrating.
  7. If you get up to 70 FPS with a 4GB Graphic Card, then I should have up to 35 FPS with my 2GB, which is not the case! Beside that even with the old FSX engine and the "FSPS - Xtreme FSX Booster v2" Add-On App that activates all cores, it keeps busy all my 6 CPUs up to 95% and can achieve up to the 60 FPS rate. So how is it there possible with an engine based on DirectX 9 and why the DCS DirectX 11 is it so inhibited and does not claim my CPUs over the 35% average? One thing for sure, my Computer Specs exceeds the Minimum system requirements of the DCS World Download version: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i3; RAM: 8 GB; Free hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: 2 GB RAM card, DirectX11 - compatible.
  8. In the Graphics Settings I couldn't find any option to choose / define the FPS (in comparison to FSX) where it can be set for e.g. to 60 FPS or indefinite. My PC specs in my signature must be sufficient to sustain a min. 50 FPS, as it's halved when I turn my 3D on. Since the 1.5. Update the FPS fluctuate between 15 & 25, even though the CPU utilization in the Task Manager shows that all six cores are running, but at minimum speed, as the total CPU utilization remains under 35%. So my question is why is DCS not pulling more performance out of the CPU when there is enough space for it and how to make it enhance the FPS?
  9. My Firewall has corrupted the NVIDIA update. I re-updated it and now it's working fine.
  10. The problem was the rotten 361.43 NVIDIA driver I had it updated on the same day as the DCS 1.5. Sorry DCS for the early grouse :music_whistling: By the way the link you cited is only for solving 3D Hud problems, but I'll surely follow up your patch enhancement. It's a great job you've done there with those patches! Many Thanks
  11. DCS can't start in 3D mode anymore in 1.5! The weird thing, DCS is not listed in my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 program setting anymore, nor is it to be found with the checked Box: "Show only programs that would be found on this computer". Also in the all 3D drop list it's not listed there anymore! Even if I insert it manually, DCS does not start in 3D mode anymore! I've been flying for years solely in 3D. Once you get used to it, flying in 2D becomes out of the question. EDITED: SOLVED!
  12. Just updated the 1.5.2. The environment with these beautiful vivid colours became alive. Great work! But DCS now can't start in 3D mode anymore! Once you get used to 3D, Flying in 2D is out of question. I hope this problem will be solved asap.
  13. The first thing I tried after I bought the Dora was the "Training Task/Combat Employment/Aerial Gunnery": and here lies the problem (Bug?) where the M151 is not firing. It's working fine in other missions... Nice Plane
  14. The Guns Ammo Indicators are both full. The MG131 do work (Key: RCtrl+SPACE), but I don't know why the MG151 does not fire (SPACE)! I Checked it in the Aircraft/Options, and it seem to respond OK. Is there another cockpit switch somewhere I've overseen in the manual, that shifts the 131 to 151?
  15. Some of them just cannot be opened, and the other once opened, they just look weird, like with 2 Modes, without Pinkie-Switch. I would have been happy having a look on your profiles, but X52Pro is a later version of X52 and is just NOT compatible. :joystick:
  16. X52 Pro ist not compatible with X52 - but it is the other way around.
  17. I couldn't wait longer, so I made this first Saitek X52 Device Profile for F-15! It includes TrackIR + NVIDEA 3D Vision and covers up almost all essential F-15C activities, (Mode 2-3) so that you don't need the Keyboard anymore. For none TrackIR users, Views/ Camera movements are on POV Hat 1-Mode 1. This Profile has also: - a configuration set for a NVIDIA 3D Vision monitor (Pinkie Switch+Mode 1). You should change your 3D NVIDIA configuration accordingly to this X52 setting, because 3D Vision Default uses the same constellation of DCS's Views! - Radio COM + Views F1-F12 (Pinkie Switch+Mode 1) - Airbrake On/Off is set on the Precision Slide. When not in use it should remain centered. - For TrackIR setting, I advice to use the Mini Stick X/Y. They are set to Bands and are edited appropriately. TrackIR 1-4 still need to be programmed to your own use. - The Mini Stick X/Y+Pinkie Switch are set with 4 Labels settings. - Radar Vertical & Horizontal are to be assigned in the DCA/ Options/ Controls/ Layer F-15C/ Axis Commands: Saitek X52 Flight Control/ Joy_RX & Joy_RY. Have Fun BiBa Download: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1061273/ (Zip-File also includes 6 Profiles Pics)

  19. I love this plane
  20. Here's a thought for thought - since this slippery business is as old as the Black Shark paling soon into white out of shame, the only logical explanation I could figure out is the following: As I do have enough 3D Max experience to presume, that both objects, Ship and Heli underline the same porter speed, which is in this case the ship, and since the Heli always slips exactly in the same direction as the ship without any angle deviation, it seems that there is a water friction that is exerting minor retardment on the ship, but NOT on the Heli! It's the same physical algorithm applied as when for e.g. tires touch the ground, but with different parameter. If that's the cause, the programmer only needs to count in the same water friction speed braking on the Heli, as soon as it touches the ship's platform. Hope I'm right :book:
  21. Guys please - this thread is not about destroying Buses, but rather about solving a bug with the crash on the ship platform. The cause is getting lost. Putting too much diversion from the main topic makes it harder for the moderator to follow up. They're already overwhelmed with too much work. It's recommendable to keep threads on Bugs and problem efficiently pragmatic. It would be more interesting with feedback on ideas of what is theoretically causing the slipping effect and how it can be solved. Thanks...
  22. In the Mission Editor, I would like to design a Heli cold start from a moving CG-60 ship's platform, but with this bug, before the motor is powered on and flight ready, you're dead! So the main question remains: Why does it take the DCS programmers so long to fix up this old known problem?
  23. After restart, by starting a mission, I got again another different fatal error (thread 4952) EDIT It seems a fatal error with different thread no. happens with ALL DCS mission! I always get: Loading debriefing X Cannot open debriefing file! This update is definitely not working. How can I reboot to the elder DCS backup version?
  24. After the new update (1.2.10 32275 Update 2) I faced on DCS start the following Fatal Error (thread 3308) see attachment
  25. One of the thrilling landing experience with the Huey is to land on a moving CG-60 ship platform. There is a problem though, once landed, is that the Huey keeps on sliding forward very slowly, which leads to a crash against the wall. The faster is the CG-60, the faster is the slippery. The same problem also occurs with a cold start from the CG-60 Normandy before startup! This bug needs definitely a fix!
