I don't agree with this, how are you supposed to better yourself as a pilot if you use a cheat like this, its not a training tool it is simply just lazy. Yes, some joysticks are more accurate than others, so if u have a crap joystick add some curve then practice eventually you will get it. Practice makes perfect. Why take the flight out of flight sim. This might be blunt, no hard feelings to all that think its a good idea, just my 2 cents.

Did it twice today within in a hour Flying toward a Target area then fps drop from 60 -30 -20-10-5-1-FREEZE CRASH. Log and crash file along with my system spec attached. DCS crashes way to often, I'm sure you all know that :cry: DCS CRASH AND LOG.rar

Had allot of sam sights and a few aircraft on the RWR while locked up by a Su-27,one of the symbols had a circle around it while grouped up with other icons, while I was being locked even know the other warnings were in the low priority circle it made it seem that the Su-27 was not the one locking me up because is just showed up with a 27 and no outline symbology. I later died from that same 27 because of the misconfusion and cluster of symbols and had no visual warning that the Su-27 had me locked either. I know you guys are swamped, and tired of hearing about the rwr, but this is a game killer for me. Can you add a circle or diamond around the highest threat that is locking you. Thank You.

what about single bomb releases, because of right now you can only drop all mk82's at once.

Think what he is trying to say is in a multiplayer server it gives the advantage to the guy that uses this option. Admins of servers have no way to enforce its, making the host server have such option would fix this. I agree, its an option that never should have been added as it is UNREALISTIC. At least give the admins an option.

try replicating this in other servers and single player. The server has all of its aircraft Immortal, this may be the reason for the blades not separating.

Our M2 jammed every 3-5 rounds in afghan and got to the point we had just stop trying and I personally would pop out of the turret with my m16 to return fire. And the M2 also starts slow gets faster than slows down again in rate of fire but situation dictates and the use of clp was applied, so that could have gunked it up a bit. Correct me if im wrong but didn't the P-51 use a different variation of the m2 for air use because they produce a higher fire rate and our more reliable than the ground versions.

your weapon selection has nothing to do with the range on the radar. the number on the right middle of the hud should be defaulted to 0, this is your antenna for your altitude so. what ever range your scanning at on your radar 0 means your scanning at your altitude of your own plane. so if the target is above you you wont see it, you have to move the antenna up to +1 +2 and so forth. Lets say you are scanning for 80k and your antenna is at +5 that means you are scanning 5k meters above you at 80k out. The number on the bottom middle of the hud is like you radar beam from left to right so the smaller the number the the narrower the scan, the higher you go the wider the scan. just like in the F15... sorta now remember the wider the slower your going to receive data and vice versa.

Press 2 for bvr mode if nothing pops up untill 10 miles then you may be in bore site and if you have 2 vertical lines on your hud then your in vertical scan. Make sure your radar is on and your not using EO sensors. Oh and I do belive the version of the 27 that is modeled in the game never carried R-77s except for testing. :D

The server is located in the Midwest ,USA. You should have a decent ping(100-140) to the server so no need to worry ;)

The model that is in the game is the model without mws because the version ED recreated is the version that didn't have it, is that hard to understand or do I need to repeat it for the 4th time and there is a big difference in being scared and stupid. You can go read all the other post over again with multiple people telling you the same thing but you just don't want to believe it. Here I'll help you, GO PLAY ARMA 2 they have a ka-52 that has all you want and ask for. Then i guess we should all start playing the lottery Please don't insult me or my squadron, I offered my help and gave you reasoning behind my answers. You know what I'll just call up my buddies at ED and tell them there is this kid on the forums that wants a MWS in the KA-50. I'm sure they will dump their cash and resources in making a version just for you.

I'm sorry to say but the missile threat being handled with skill is all truth and most Dcs pilots that play this game will tell you the same although an acquired skill that comes from 100's of hours of playing and practice. Leaving your countermeasures off is a stupid move and would rob you of any chance of survival. That is fine if your not hardcore and you want to go shoot things but if that is the case hop in an F-15 shoot all your missles at an enemy and runaway. maybe 1 will hit. There were only a handful of Ka-50's made and all of them being test beds, some saw combat but they are not a line of defense. The one we are flying is most likely a base model that has the standard buttons and switches plus any extras to later integrate systems for further testing. Just like in a real aircraft there are stickers next to the switch that designate INOP.

Here is something that might help you KA-50 guys, online anyway. Never fly into the WP, they usually mark an AO, always hold short about 10 km before, scan the area with your shkval while doubling back to your abris for a reference of SAMs and AAA. Study target acquisition to identify the bigger threats. its not hard. just time consuming. A real pilot would never just say la-dee-dah and rush in and die. This is a sim and if you don't want to take the time on complex missions then go do instant action or go play another game. IMO the black shark don't need a RWR its fine the way it is. Some guys have been flying the BS for 7 years don't have an issue with it, its not the aircraft its the operator. I'm not trying to be a dick but if I come on that way sorry I'm just strait forward. Now to the reason why there isn't a RWR in the BS it could very well be the model that was recreated or the info is classified. You will see this allot if your new here, this is why we don't have certain air-frames like the F-22 and AH-64D. ED is trying for the most fidelity without the cost of make up systems witch may be fine for some, but us hardcore simmers want accurate models and systems at the highest fidelity.

Not the equipment. Now yes the earlier air frames had no gun but that was resolved and after that the F4 started to come out on top.:D Maybe I just love this aircraft too much but it is no slouch in the sky in its era.
