  2. interesting, as this bug exists since at least the P51 got released, and has been mentioned several times throughout the years....and its not just about P51 and spit, but all ww2 birds at least... in addition to the missing tracers, it seems that only half the rounds are calculated from this point onwards, and the server will not give you any credits anymore, regardless of how many you keep killing. a really frustrating bug, which comes more frequent, when more people are on a server.

  5. Just a couple of days ago ffb stopped working correctly for me during an offline mission. The force just stiffened up to full and it remained like that...what was obvious though is that dcs is not using the full force the sidewinder can provide at all. During this flight the trim force was probably twice as strong if not even more than what it can usually reach. This is also noticeable when you try other sims...it would be nice if dcs would make proper use of that potential to noticeable stiffen up the controls at really high speeds...please consider to use the full force range the sidewinder can provide. This would greatly enhance the experience even further
  6. the problem i could see, is that we are flying a simulation where we just cannot feel the g's. in real life you definitely feel 4g, and definitely even feel 2g. you have feedback of what you are doing to your body. and yes, as Yo-Yo said, blackouts can surprise and can be really sudden...the problem is, we cannot feel it at all. so maybe, some kind of compromise is needed, or that these sudden "attacks" dont happen just as quickly as they do now, but maybe slightly slower. its a problem of simulating the real thing, while the most important thing, the feedback is missing for us and always will...
  7. i know mate, and totally agree, and im not that naive to think that all they do is really hanging up laundry on the ropes ;) its just, its looking really really good...so im hoping for a release as soon as possible, or at least by end of march, speaking Q1
  8. way more detailed than what i expected..i thought its going to be 1big green blank texture, and maybe runways with couple of hangars around....thats a pleasant surpsie. but, isnt this supposed to be an alpha release? as a former kickstarter backer who pledged to an amount to get early access to the map, it somehow hurts to read them developing laundry hanging on lines etc...dont get me wrong, im not against such details, but this thing looks damn "releasable" for quite some time now. clean clothes can come at a later point. what are you waiting for?
  9. since 1.5.6, next to other couple of bugs like sounds, i also experience one serious one...that is, that im running out of RAM.i get a windows warning message, although i have 16gigs of RAM. dont know whether others experience it as well, as i seem to be the only one within my group who experienced it so far...it is 1.5.6 related, as with previous patches, i dont have that issue, and i didnt change anything on my rig. a possible memory leak?
  10. with that setting you are switching your neutral point of the stick...so while you have it in center, the pilot is slightly pushing it. no magic, just a curve, which always leads to other drawbacks. but if you are happy i guess thats good then.
  11. rudder forces are not implemented yet, and its guaranteed that they will do that eventually...it just got released, so we might need to have a little more patience... so once the rudder forces are implemented, it should fly more harmonized i suppose...what i do hope though, is that before they actually implement the forces, that they once more have a look at all the other warbirds, and give us a little stronger legs...on the others we are already limited by the forces during our takeoff runs, which imo is slightly overmodeled...so i hope that they implement a new standard with the spit.

  15. slowly its getting dark...mission not restarting again.
  16. ...ok cause now it says that i had 5flights, and only 3landings...while i landed every single time.
  17. now my third flight didn't get recognized at all it seems? and yes FLANKERTOR....i know that this is a huge undertaking, and thats why i thought it cant hurt to point out problems/bugs. EDIT: and my 4th flight didn't get registered at all by the stats either.
  18. stats are unfortunately totally bugged for me... while i should have 2flights,2landings, 10 kills, it now says 2takeoffs, 1 landing, and only 6kills... and you can verify that something is wrong with my stats, as i have 2takeoffs, but no disconnects, no crashlandings, no death, no bail outs....
  19. well its off topic, but as im trying to help, i hope that the mods will still leave my post in here....so here you go, just place the file i attached in :....DCS World/MissionEditor/modules then you can create missions and make planes spawn anywhere you want on the map...have fun with it. me_route.lua
  20. thats already possible actually with a tiny adjustment of 2lines in 1 lua file. on topic, now give us that map already:) having parts of england included is a huge addition to the game...i really hope though, that in future, they will make england also detailed, just as normandy or close to it at least, so that it actually looks nice when flying over it...it's already great to have a not detailed england as it gives us options, but a detailed england would be awesome one day...
  21. since we have never heard of any problems in this regard, and Racoon and others confirming collidable trees, i see no reason to assume they won't from the beginning.
