yeah, i also share the same experience as the OP.i hate the fact that they always go after the player first.not because its impossible to fight them, which it isnt.but because it creates such an unrealistic taste of all the missions.they will follow you, even if they already are pursued by your friendly AI and totally ignore them even when receiving hits.looks quite distracting.

yeah also Grimes told me that this would be much work to achieve and not worth the effort.SNAFU's script is working fine and should be enough. so thx again SNAFU, i was amazed that this worked pretty much out of the box, and also that you came up with that script so fast after my request!BIG THANK YOU.

no, we dont run 8 different missions so far...we plan to add missions in a constant pace though.the server is in the UK. -

well i dont know the exact definition of UCID, but i think this is a unique number for each dcs player.with slmod for example you can ban players either by name or UCID. anyway, a little more testing showed that when having the trigger set to once- then it will only work once. on mission start-doesnt seem to work switched condition-doesnt seem to work coninuous action-seems to work, but i get only the first warning and then the plane is removed.and i have yet to test, if i then can join the plane successfully when another player already tried to spawn in it.yet i have only tested this alone.so either with the correct name or a fake name.

ok, first of all, BIG THANKS. now i only have to know how to adjust and use it to test this...would be needed for a wwii server, so for fw190s, p51s, and hopefully soon the 109. also, this script only dedects the name of the player?so if another guy then just changed his name he would be able to join the aircraft right? thx again

its still work in progress, and a proper mission briefing is about to be made today... the airbases are fairly close to each other, but probably not as close as you would like them? Beslan-Axis, Nalchik-Allies. all units placed on the map are destroyable and will give points. for every fighter shot down, points will be given as well. there is a "safe zone" around each airbase. meaning that if you crashland close to your airbase, and the pilot survives, the plane and the pilot will be considered as rescued.a message saying "glad to have you back" confirmes that you are now safe.this also goes for landing on the airbase.once you come to a full stop, this message will pop up, and then you can either repair/rearm or spawn in a new plane without giving the opposing side points. also there is a constant bomber-raid going on, and allied players are supposed to escort them towards their target area, while the axis players are supposed to attack the bombers. (for every bomber reaching the target area, points will be given to the allied side.for every bomber shot down, points will be given to the axis side) if only one side is populated by players, enemy ai fighters will spawn in. the side which reaches 100points first will win. -
considering we are supposed to get our hands on it this month, i assume an release date announcement is about to be made any day now.

european ww2 server already exsits...funnily enough, yesterday we put up a mission called POINT-BLANK.what a coincidence :) -
hey guys! just like the title says, i would like to know whether it would be possible to reserve aircraft for certain players in mp missions.so that only the one player can spawn in it.(maybe with dedecting the UCID?).and if another player tries to spawn in it, to give him a warning, and if he stays in it, to despawn it... is this somehow possible with a script? thx in advance

^^please can anybody tell me how to repack the mission correctly? im stuck with the "open" mission consisting of three files...how to make it one single .miz file again???

for some this does indeed work...for others it just doesnt work at all, no matter the procedure. just two days ago we had again a discussion where one of my mates told me exactly how its working for him in mp...then me and yet another friend tried his procedure, without any luck...interesting is though, that many claim that they dont suffer from this bug at all and that rearming refueling is working every time...its strange. all i know is, that for me unfortunately it is bugged and no matter the procedure, it will just not rearm.

so that shows that the mk108 drops 3,4m within the first 400m. but i guess it doesnt really matter...with training one will get used to its trajectory, and then it sure will be deadly.

interesting for me is, that i dont really see a difference in the looks between now, integrated into dcs, and the videos and screenshots we have seen a year ago. -
:) ah well depends...they understand german, but sometimes struggle to understand each other. not that i like that song, but when they played it nonstop on the radio back then, it took me a couple of days if not weeks to notice that this is supposed to be the same language im speaking... sorry for beeing off topic.
