back on topic then...was the flare gun in the K4 a fixed item?meaning could it be removed?how is it implemented in DCS?is it working(can we shoot flares??)

i think thats the problem the OP is seeing...there are some other threads about this already iiirc where people request to make these textures with mipmaps.

thats a feature and its there ever since i can remember...yeah, stick throw depends on the speed.you will also see that in the p51 -

if you hit F11 and that was working, did you then try to hit F1 to go back to cockpit view? when the server was set to cockpit view only, then you cannot watch the track from outside views, unless you open it and adjust the options manually with notepad++ or something similar. but if you have tried that and didnt even see the cockpitview, than i dont know whats wrong.sorry -
it would be awesome to have a C47 one day(hopefully even flyable, but even AI would do) and watch easy company drop out one by one towards normandy.

are you sure you unpause the track?i think iirc that the mp tracks always start on pause first. -
yeah :) thats ok with me, just wondering whether this will be their future strategy from now on, or if it is only the case with the 109 now, as i imagine them beeing very busy currently with all the new modules and the BIG PATCH.

nope, only between channel 3 and 4 you will notice a different morse code.so you will have to watch the horizontal needle to see the distance and also to see whether you are really heading towards the beacon, and not away from it :) -

well not totally true...there is dynamic weather where you can adjust wind strengths depending on location. there is already turbulence effects implemented...its up to the mission designer whether to use it or not...

NEVER GET LOST: key feature in all our current&upcoming missions in all our current&upcoming missions we have implemented AFN2 homing function and Lorenz Landing System for the Luftwaffe. once you have selected the channel correctly the needles on the afn gauge should normally not be alligned that perfectly anymore, except you are directly heading at the marker... the vertical needle shows you the direction in which you have to fly to reach the airfield.(fly into the needle until it is in center) the horizontal needle shows you the distance.the higher up it is, to closer you are to the airfield/marker. note at the top of it you can read "nahe" which means "close". there are 2channels to choose. channel three for the "outer marker" placed 5km in front of the runway.(once you fly over it, you will see the vertical needle jump) once you have passed it, switch to channel 4, this should lead you directly to the runway....more or less KEEP IN MIND: thats how it is working currently in dcs, and does not replicate how the system was really working.here is hoping for an improvement in future.but with the tools we have, we tried to recreate it as close as possible to reality i.e. the distances of the beacons to the runway. -

never had that happen to me yet...the server crashes from time to time, but doesnt seem connected to player numbers or mission...just random crashes from time to time. EDIT:ah ok, re-reading, it seems it is your game crashing, and not the server... well, as it is now, we have to use triggers to resemble the bomber group dropping their bombs...so there is a couple of triggers within a few seconds, exploding units and buildings...its possible that this somehow leads to your game crashing...please keep observing this, and if its not only you, but others as well crashing continiously on that event, then i will look to reduce the explosions...hopefully this helps then. -
