  1. Had to update my last post for vul. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. For this week I'd be able to do Sunday at or after 2000Z that way Jack and I can both make it, without getting into silly EU vs US time differences. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. I'd love to join in on this. Any idea on date/time? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. ^ Lots and lots of pressure!!! But thank you guys for your support, interest, and feedback!
  5. To piggyback on what BD is saying here we'll also provide insight into some things that may not be found within the A-10C Flight Manual but are worth teaching and learning.
  6. OMG IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much! I've got to fine tune the MFCSs but I can do that. DCS is supposed to display only in my center monitor (#1) and it is slightly offset to the left (running into monitor #2). Any ideas on that? Also, we need to debrief on the things you wanted me to ask that Eagle driver. I was able to get some good info out of him!
  7. Hans, Here is the .lua and the current display setting. I can't bump the lilliputs any closer together. If I move the right one to the left it will push the left one. Also I just copied and renamed the .lua text from your last how-to but you'll still find it below as I have it now. 6_ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('Moneys'); Description = 'Configuration with 3 identical monitors each with its own camera and MFDs' Viewports = { Left = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = -1; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.77; }, Center = { x = 0; y = 1920; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.77; }, Right = { x = 3840; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 1; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.77; }, LEFT_MFCD = { x = 0; y = 1200; width = 525; height = 525; }, RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 800; y = 1200; width = 525; height = 525; }, } UIMainView = Viewports.Center LEFT_MFCD = Viewports.LEFT_MFCD RIGHT_MFCD = Viewports.RIGHT_MFCD
  8. hansangb: That did not work. The DCS logo appears at the bottom of my main center monitor then when DCS loads up all the way all screens go black. I selected the lua profile adjusted the res and aspect (auto selected) before clicking "OK" or whatever it is. These things are killing me! Thank you for the help though!
  9. Klem- I'm not running Helios or anything else. At first I did have some of the, I guess "view", in the 2 8" screens that was not taken up by the MFCD portion. When I got it to work as shown in post #799 they went black aside from the MFCD portion. I deff get what you're saying about 1 wide vs 3 separate screens. I'd rather deal with seeing my wingtips all the time and have everything non-distorted than having everything all wonky! hansangb- Copy that sir. I'm in NO rush for this as you are helping me out and I've got plans other than messing with DCS this evening anyway! Just FYI please understand that I'm pretty slow when it comes to computer stuff so you may have to dumb it down a bit for me! Slowhand- Copy and thanks!
  10. hansanb, I've been messing around with this since Sunday. I've tried following your earlier post (799 I believe) and I've been able to get it to work like you've shown. I however don't like the single 5760 screen setup as it distorts quite badly when I look over my shoulder and I have to zoom all the way out to have a decent FOV. I can't figure out how to get this to work with the primary displays functioning like in the "3 Screen" or "3 Cameras". Can you give me some pointers and get me back on track please? Thank you in advance for your time. Here is my screen setup:
  11. That worked to get me back to where I can see everything thank you so much!!!
  12. I was trying to set up DCS to run with my triple monitors and 8" Lilliputs and changed the res to 5760x2000 and hit "OK" before I adjusted the aspect. Now the "OK" button is off the bottom of the screen and I cant click it to reset it. I've tried repairing DCS and running it in windowed mode (Enter+Alt). The only thing I know to do from here would be a fresh install. Anyone got any other ideas lol? Thanks guys!
  13. What would be some examples of things you guys would want to learn in a CP such as this?
  14. I've been over the NTTR on a Red Flag mission and I'll say the terrain look fantastic when compared to the real thing!!! The main main complaint I have is that DCS is very sparse. IRL there is a ton of stuff on the ground. Everything from old aircraft and vehicles to entire airfields and infrastructure built out of shipping containers. There are of course live fire ranges out there also that would be a great thing to have as well!! All in all I'm very happy with what they have done. For everything else we'll just have to get creative in the mission editor.
  15. Thanks. I was wondering why it shows I had to buy it!
  16. Put me on your list of people willing to help in the future Blooze. If you need anything just shoot me a PM.
  17. TMS Up Short to hook it first then Up Long to SPI it.

  19. If you're sure there are no threats in the area or you are in a position to avoid them and are having problems flying a circular orbit fly a box pattern around it making turns into your pod to keep it on the side toward the target.
  20. Ensure your laser is armed and set to fire either the laser or the laser and IR pointer. Ensure SPI is set properly, make sure your weapons profile is set to CCRP, Auto Lase On, and the desired time for lasing, PRF codes match, correct weapon profile selected and make sure your laser or laser and pointer are firing.
  21. I think all of the lighting out of the cockpit is way too dim. Its like you're flying around at night in a welding helmet.
