  1. Would you be able to post a pic or give dimension of your setup please dburne? The minimum I could get for two sensors from a CV1 was 5ft with 4ft 3in between the two. Thanks.
  2. Apologies if it's already been mentioned before... Lots of reading to be done. How do you add your own programmed keystrokes to be included in the TX1: VHF AM voice command group for example? And so they only work on the TX1: button? The add new command in the Keywords Editor just refers to the plugin dll and not intuitive in adding keystrokes. Thanks.
  3. Sorry for necrotising the thread... In 2.5 there is no listing for a NWS key at all for the A-10A?
  4. Having time to read a bit more I think I am out of luck. No FC3 or CA for steam then.
  5. G'day, I have purchased a second copy of FC3 and CA modules a long time ago for my second PC running DCS standard. I have resurrected that old gaming PC and installed DCS Steam 2.5 on it to make it a multiplayer server. I want to install the FC3 and CA modules on it but when I direct the modules to the Steam install directories I get an error saying it is the wrong verion. Is there another steam version of these modules and how do I download them or can I use the original moduels? I have valid keys for the non-steam modules or do I now have to buy steam versions?
  6. I've revised the export.lua and I am now getting motion telemetry from all the modules. Still looking into the differences as some modules were working and others not.
  7. G'day, I've spent almost all of my time getting my g-seat working effectively with the F-15C in VR, and very happy with the results. (Waiting very patiently on the F/A-18C AND P-47 of course.) I have just now started flying the other modules in VR and I am not getting any telemetry from them? Is there a quick solution for getting this telemetry? Thanks.
  8. Thanks Chic, that was exactly what I was looking for, and more with the voice recognition.
  9. I have a microswitch connected up to this EJECT handle which runs through as a switch on an Arduino Joystick. I would like to only pull the handle once to activate the EJECT sequence in DCS rather than three times. I was thinking it would be an edit to an input LUA file but did not find anything, hence my question if anyone else has found a solution.
  10. G'day, I have an arduino joystick that works as a standard windows joystick. I have allocated and tested it as working in windows 10 as a device switch and it is to be used for the EJECT button in DCS. The EJECT keyboard press requires <CTRL + E> to be pressed three times to activate, however I need to press the joystick EJECT button ONLY ONCE to activate it, but this does not work. Before re-inventing the wheel, has anyone got the EJECT input to work on one activation? More so with an input rather than a keypress? Cheers,
  11. Found my old blank profile sheet while doing a heavy mod. Might be of use to someone? http://www.mediafire.com/file/3mbo0aaz1dxz192/X-55_profile_master_03_pub11.zip
  12. Excellent work Strut! I am sure you have seen this thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=191047&page=2 But for some reference...
  13. Excellent work there Snowsniper! Thank you for sharing the texture so that others can get the great effect for their liveries.
  14. That is the best res I could get after trawling through a whole mess of stuff at the Australian War Memorial website researching for the 457 liveries. The serials may be readable on the actual photos but that would mean a trip to Canberra. On a side note they have digitised the 457 squadron log book too, which is an interesting read. If I come across any Rotol WWII references I will definitely post here. (Lots of post war references as you know.)
  15. Agreed after looking into it further. Just for some reference.
  16. May be of some use?
  17. If you can afford it, I would do it. It really does put you inside the 3d pit. You will never be able to explain it until you have tried it. Don't expect crystal clear images like a 2d monitor though (at least not yet). It depends on whether you want to be IN the pit IN the simulation, but with some blur, or value a sharp image looking at a 2d monitor in the room your in. Head and hand tracking is excellent (Oculus touch). Virtual hand switching is not implemented yet though. HOTAS does that for you at the moment. The only issue I have with my setup is object stutter when low down and looking at complex terrain objects left or right out of the cockpit. Head on is okay. (Mid range PC.) Plus you get the VR experience with other software titles as well. (Then try it with a g-Seat!!!)
  18. No worries mate! I can understand that. I love every minute I work on those liveries.
  19. UPDATE: Wednesday, 19th July, 2017. Opening the template with Photoshop CS4 64bit is broken. It cannot handle the format (obviously the template is a later version => CS6.) Missing a whole lot of mechanicals and diffused layers. It is workable, and I am very thankful for that, but it is going to take a very long time to drop in pixels to get the template into a useable format. At this rate I dont expect to push liveries for a few months yet.
  20. I am getting a dialog box when I try to open the template .psb (Large Format Document). When I click Flatten it flattens the file to the default diffused texture of the default livery. If I click keep layers a new dialog box comes up; "Some groups were found corrupted and repaired." and I click ok. Photoshop opens the file with a huge array of layers for the diffused, normal and specular maps. If I flatten straight after loading all being well I should get the default livery as per the original flatten option. I don't get the flatten default livery meaning that I am missing layers. Looking at the diffused layer I cannot see the main livery. (On opening I have 26 diffused layers). Has anyone opened the file successfully? This may not be a show stopper as it looks as though all the other technical layers are intact. Apart from that... I must give Eagle Dynamics and the artists involved a huge thank you for very kindly releasing their template. Now there is never enough hours in the day...
  21. Yeah, I think I may have altered the original specular mapping tint a little while doing some editing. (First time editing spec maps). Now that we have the template it might be easier to edit. I will look into it. Hopefully it will be a matter of just posting new specular files. UPDATE: It is not the specular maps but the aluminium gray shade is way too dark in the diffused. Fixing now and reposting version 1.02 when done. Much Better.
  22. Updated Liveries for a flight of VE-F,K,N,O. See first post for download. Cheers,
  23. Numeric 5 to recenter view. Click and hold middle mouse button and scroll back with it two or three "positions" to pull back eye view postion while in cockpit. (Scroll forward to move eye point forward.)
  24. Thanks fee, that worked great. (Rep inbound!).
