Quite right!!! Thank you!

Hi!! My version of DCS is 2.5.0.15365.345. The J-11A is no longer flyable. But why???
-
Well done and good work !! I'm appreciating your J-11A and I hope for a J-11B with glass cockpit and the latest PLA missiles!

Problem solved!! No more green dot in the centre of the Hud!!! Many thanks to the developers!!!
-
The problem is not solved running the repair program. Instead, if I disable the "deferred shading" option, the green dot disappears from the HUD. So, since the DCS World graphics with the "deferred shading" option enabled is really nice (and my PC has a satisfactory FPS with it enabled), I do not see why I have to scale it down by turning off the option. As far as I'm concerned this is a video bug of DCS World 2.5 and I continue to hope that the development team will solve it soon. Thanks all people for the answers.

Since I updated to 2.5, on all FC3 aircrafts appears a boring green dot right in the middle of HUD. I hope you will kindly solve the problem. Many Thanks!

Hello everyone. So, I'm quite sure the Tpod in the Caucasus map (the latest update) is full of bugs. First, there is no need to change the laser code. Any laser code is fine because it is the one shot by the Tpod and not by ground troops. And this is always true, both for the Nevada map and for the Caucasus. I've perform (or at least I tried) different missions (created with the Caucasus map editor) to hit a stationary target (a command center) with a GBU. I followed the list of actions that I reported in the previous post (which are those in a nice tutorial on youtube: ). First of all, the reference octagon does not appear when the Tpod is on, but a small square appears! (should it have the same functions as the octagon?) However, the vertical release line does not appear (when it should appear) and, at least in a couple of missions, a long line of numbers (constantly changing) appeared both in the middle of the HUD and on the right MPCD of the Tpod .... glitch glitch glithc :) :). I tried to release the bomb but it always fell like a dumb bomb. I've also tried to fix the DCS World program (repair), but nothing has changed: same errors and same bugs & glithces. I thought things worked better on the Nevada map, but it is not the case as I explained in the previous post. I hope that a solution will come soon because it is my opinion that an AV8B NA without Tpod is half effective.

Hello to all those who read me! I'm trying to understand how the AV8B NA TPOD works. The theater that I use is Nevada because I can not make the TPOD work in the Caucasus (the correct symbology does not appear on the HUD). So now I list the operations that I carry out and I will be grateful if you show me what is wrong or what is missing. I perform the laser check code before take-off. On the left MPCD, I select the storage menu and select the GBU. I carry out the Weapons system check: Mode: Auto, Fuz: TIN, Qty: 1, Mult: 1, NORM knob In flight, directed towards the target, I activate the Tpod: 1) on the right MPCD, I select the Tpod Menu, select Stby and then TDC; 2) the octagon of the Tpod camera and the vertical release line appear on the HUD; 3) I use the TDC keys (the first one to use is TDC AFT to bring the octagon down); 4) on the right MPCD (page of the Tpod), I select PT; 5) I use the TDC keys and the ZM + and ZM- keys to capture the target; 6) I change from TRNL to LSR; 7) I change from Safe to Armed; 8 ) when I am at a right distance (about 6 nm), I select Fire and the flashing L appears on the screen of the Tpod; 9) meanwhile, the release time counter also appeared on the HUD; 10) I hold down the release button and when the thick horizontal line of the fall trajectory appears, the bomb is released. Well. All right? NOOOO!!!!! Yet something does not work because the GBU falls like a dumb bomb (and destroys a lot of sand but not the target). WHYYYYYYYYY??????? Please help me and ... many thanks in advance!!!

It's an interesting simulation. The harrier is unique and who has never dreamed of being in his cockpit?!? However, the harrier here simulated is still limited in its operation. The AV8B NA used by the Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan is an aircraft dedicated to CAS: its weapons are the GBU-12 and the JDAMs (the smaller ones), but not the maverick. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the use of the Litening pod. As for air combat, in my opinion the AV8B is not really suitable (especially if it has to deal with the Flankers, perhaps ... with the MIG21 ...). In general, my judgment is positive (if the implementation of the Litening will follow). Bye!!

Some equipment texture in mission editor is error
flavnet replied to Freedom4U's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello!! Same problem for me!! I tried to remove the module and reinstall it but the problem remains. Please help! Thanks in advance. -
Thanks for the answer ... now I cry
-
Hello everyone!! A small question: has the pod been implemented in the simulation???
-
It means you did a good escort mission. But you did not specify the participants skills. The 109's were "experten"? Your wingmen were average pilots? Have you repeated the mission for at least three times?
-
With the spitfire is all another story !!! In five comparisons of 4vs4 (all high pilots) the finish is almost always the same: three spitfire survive (and in one episode, all four). The spitfire goes that is a wonder !!!!
-
About the presumed simulation realism ... 4 average pilots on bf-109k easily shoot down 6 high pilots on p-51d !!! I have repeated this mission (built) for 4 times and the result does not change: at the end there are only two bf-109k survivors. If things were going this way, we would all be greeted with heil hitler:lol:
-
I also have the same texture problems. They involving aircraft surfaces (P-51 and all those with anti-reflection color). There are problems when planes shoot: tracers are black lines!!!In addition, there are problems in image quality. It seems that everything is wrapped up by a kind of fog. Thanks in advance for the help

Many THX!!!!!

Hello everyone! This is the first time I write on the forum and greet all of you who read me. It 'a pleasure. I am a fan of simulators (of all kinds) and I follow the simulations of DCS for a long time (from the first product: the legendary Su-27 Flanker for Windows 95). I recently tried FC3 (1.2.2.7570) and more specifically, I tried a mission created by myself with the editor in which I - with an F-15C - proceeded to intercept head-on three Mig-23. So, my intention is to test the functions of the radar of the F-15C to understand what was optimized/simulated. In my opinion, that there is something wrong. At 40 mn I switched VSD to TWS, I have selected the three tracks for the priority launch, and at 20 mn, I started to launch the AIM-120B. When first missile started, all tracks have disappeared and the radar is automatically returned in VSD mode. OK! Very well, I started the mission again. This time I started missile launch procedure between 40 and 20 mn. Two MiGs were shot down and the third passed me, so I made the turn (no blackout, I reduced my velocity). I tried to lock it back but there was no way!! I even managed to get on his trail (high altitude) and the radar (VSD, TWS, AAQ set to 10 mn) has never been able to lock the Mig!! (the Mig's pilot had the command and it was not without control). OK, try again. Well, I tried a third time this simple mission and I got even a different result. I still have shot down two of the three Mig in TWS mode (and this just should make us think: an F-15C that at a distance of 80 mn head-on fails to knock down three targets ... are worrying!!). The third Mig, distant a little more than 20 mn, it was still locked, when suddenly disappeared from the radar and there was no way to lock it up again. The fight ended with the Mig-23 (or was it a masked F-22!?) That launch a R-60 shooting down my useless F-15C!!! Now, I'm not a rookie of simulators and I'd really like to know why no one has ever noticed that these are much more than simple imperfections: If the radar of an F-15C worked so well, a couple of piper could take down one. We hope in future developments.:helpsmilie:
