  1. Excellent, thank you!
  2. Thanks for the suggestion, but we have tried that in the past and it was ineffective in stopping the hack. Here's hoping ED fixes this soon.
  3. But it's only the HEAVIES that get stuck....
  4. In the props, always trim rudder first to center the ball as you are doing. Rarely need to trim aileron. Maybe if there is damage creating asymmetrical lift.
  5. I quickly did up a very large box formation consisting of 39 groups of 4. There is a Lead that has followers in Box, Group AND Wing in the left, right and back positions. Gaps in the formation were filled in by having other groups follow the WING left, right and back positions in the BOX and GROUP positions. As you can see, there are still gaps, but those could be filled in as well by having new groups follow which ever other aircraft group it needs to. Also will probably need to adjust spacing a bit. It starts to get pretty dicey keeping enough separation with this many aircraft. Also, this is NOT suggested at all as it will bring practically any computer to a stand still when all of those bombs hit. Here are a few shots from the mission: From the front: And side: Attached is the mission (Using Normandy map) of this large formation heading in to bomb the city, Caen. When I created it, I set up just the main group and got it to do what I wanted. Then, selected that group and CTRL C to copy and then CTRL V to paste the new group onto the map. Then, just have to edit the BigFormation settings as needed. Large Formation Test.miz
  6. Yes, I am quite familiar with the setup. What I am suggesting to you, to create what I THINK you are asking for is that you can set up a group to have a different lead aircraft then the main formation lead. In other words, set up groups to follow an aircraft that is following the main lead. They will all still be in sync for the formation and bomb drops. Utilizing that capability to have different group leads, while still following a main WING lead, you can create any formation of any size you wish.
  7. You can do this by setting the Right wing up, then the right, left and back of that right wing group, set them to follow that RIGHT wing lead instead of the WING lead.
  8. Not sure what you mean but needing to have all "slots" available or automatically assigned a slot. What are you referring too? Copy and pasting of multiple flights is indeed possible right now, just not in the standard way. Hold SHIFT while left clicking on each group you wish to copy. It is a bit picky on where you click on the icon so yes, this part can be improved. Then, once you have all you want to copy selected, Cntl C to copy, then place your cursor where you want the new units, and press Cntl V to paste. Using the Bigformation settings and adjusting the spacings yourself, you can make any bomber formation you want, real or otherwise and they will do a pretty good job of flying it. Just do not get spacing to tight, these are bombers and need their space.
  9. That's what you get when you purchase the module. If you want the option to show them or not, all the better.
  10. What would be cool is if they had lesser quality skins (of the same ones) in the coremods, but when you bought the modules, you then get the full fidelity skins.
  11. Was hoping it was some kind of rollback to fix the F10 map marker bug, but no, you still get locked in to F10 map. B(
  12. The app does allow for custom location/size of the kneeboard as well with a graphical interface. Just drag/resize and save.
  13. Gotch-ya ;) Had a feeling it was along those lines. Take care!
  14. Why not build the unit with all those variables, and then select, copy/paste into another unit? Does essentially the same thing, can even change the unit type afterwards. Of course, I know you have been at this a while, so what does the above not achieve that you are wanting?
  15. Something to watch out for with 60Hz is something we experienced in the racing community. Blackouts from over G seem to happen more suddenly with a 60Hz monitor vs 120Hz. The lower hz monitor seems to fail to show the correct gradation of the black out sequence, mostly in the Multiplayer environment. I have a 40 in, 60Hz, 1080p TV and experience this. I found out that the game is producing the proper effect when I was streaming, so it was not the software. The stream showed the correct blackout, but the monitor showed a much less effect (less blackout) until the game registered that a full blackout had occurred. Once you get used to what you see, it is workable, but it is indeed different from what the monitors/TVs with higher Hz see.
  16. I think the new labels setup with proper values can make for a very good compromise, enhancing the LOD at ranges and at varying degrees of visibility, and then turned off completly once in dogfight range. Yes, there are still the issues of seeing the dots through clouds and airframe, but that is part of the compromise. And if everyone can see them equally, its not cheating, though granted, not realistic.
  17. Coolant radiator takes 20 seconds to go from full closed to full open, the Oil radiator is like 5-6 seconds. And yes, you have to hold it until it stops moving in that direction.
  18. It IS possible to configure the label to disappear at a set range. The ranges identified in the lua are the stopping point for that configuration of visibility. With a line like this: This sets the label to be blank UP TO 860 meters (about half a mile). Then after that, you have your lines setting the visibility parameters that you wish up to those established ranges.
  19. I have seen this as well using MIST to respawn aircraft. What I also found out is if you experience the spawn as invisible, another client logging in at that time COULD see the aircraft. Then, on the next spawn, you can see it again but they can not. Rather than fighting with it, I chose to utilize MOOSE for respawns while utilizing MIST for other functions.
  20. You mean all Russians do not refuel like this???
  21. Not entirely true, there are times when different versions are compatible with each other. This is not one of those times....
  22. Curious, do you know if the aircraft were spawned via MIST? I have myself seen this when using MIST to respawn a group. Every other spawn of the a/c was invisible. If someone came on to the server on the "off" cycle, they could see it when I could not, and then vice versa on the next MIST respawn. I ended up switching to MOOSE to handle the respawns and the problem went away.
  23. Anyone? Please? I know I need to get the groupID off the new lead, that should be the easy part, the issue is then how to assign that number into the task of the non-lead groups.
  24. Sometimes different versions are compatible with each other in Multi-Player, other times they are not. To be sure, best to be on the same version always to remove that issue from the equation.
  25. That would be good only for the start of an engagement. As you identify things and do your job, directing the pilot to a new course of action would be impossible without you taking over again.
