  1. If you got any experience with WWII planes it shouldn't take much longer. I successfully landed mine on the first try without reading the manual or doing the training missions thanks to IL-2 Sturmovik. *cocky mode off*
  2. Sign me up. I hope you guys won't mind my Frenglish
  3. Yes about it... How about a Canadian CF-18 campaign? :D
  4. Hell, why don't you guys add internal bleeding while you're at it.
  5. Thanks for that, I didn't even know about that series. I always wondered if I could've been a fighter pilot. Halfway into the 1st episode I know I wouldn't have been able lol.
  6. ^ The problem seems to be finding an original Falcon 4.0 copy.
  7. Anyone working on the F-16? Looking through the announced 3rd party modules, one thing struck me: There are no F-16! I just recently started modern flight sims but I've always had a love affair with the F-16 and i would absolutely love to have it in DCS. Did any of the 3rd party devs or ED them selves say anything about it being in their plans, eventually?
  8. I've uploaded my TrackIR 4 profile as well as my DCS A-10C Saitek X52 profile for anyone interested in trying them out. They work great for me but since it comes down to personal taste i've included some previews so you can get an idea whether you'll like it or not. You can find them here: TrackIR 4 Saitek X52
  9. That would be so awesome
  10. Thanks guys, that looks like it.
  11. Sorry, i should have told you the radio in the Cyclic commands is actually called SPU-9 PTT. Remap that command to something else (perhaps Shift TAB or something like that?) and it should work.
  12. Yes, on station 2. But right next to it, the black tube beside the wheel well...
  13. I've come across this shot and was wondering... What exactly is that thing on station 3?
  14. Okay thats good, it means you're on the right track. I also had trouble using the comms after take-off. When easy communications is ticked off in the gameplay options (e.i. using realistic comms), you have to use RAlt \ once in the air to contact someone. I'm not sure why exactly but that's how it is. If remapping the \ comms to TAB worked, maybe remapping the RAlt \ to something else will work as well. You can find it under the Cyclic controls.
  15. I've noticed for a while now that my X52 i bought a few months ago has the annoying tendency to "stick". The plastic on plastic contact of the "Precision Centering Mechanism" binds a bit when i'm doing small inputs. I lived with it up to now but now i'm trying to learn aerial refueling and it became very apparent. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this?
  16. For the Mk82 AIRs, I had trouble with those until i realized they are to be used exclusively at low altitude (<3000ft) and from there i has much more success with them.
  17. ^ If not you can use the NumPad keys to look around with the exterior camera. You can also press F6 or F7 (forgot which one exactly) to look at your bomb after you released it. If you can upload a track it would be very helpful.
  18. Well you need to be on the correct frequency to get a response but \ should still open the comms menu regardless, if i remember correctly. Did you look for the comms key in the cyclic controls? The Black Shark's radio button is on the cyclic.
  19. You are on realistic comms, correct? Make sure the key is still mapped in the controls in Ka-50 Sim.
  20. I think the correct key combination is RAlt \
  21. Really? That surprises me considering the quality of the rest of the simulator...
  22. This got off topic quite rapidly...
  23. Since we already have a Russian attack helo, I voted Apache.
  24. ^ If that doesnt help, you could try backing up your "input" folder in C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config by moving it to another folder. Then, when you start your game the next time, it will automatically make a new default input folder.
  25. I think you just have to follow the waypoints to the last one and that should be your home base. Then just park the plane, shutdown and quit.
