Heres the deal: My computer's RAM slots are organized in a triple channel setup (2x3 slots.) I currently have 3 2GB RAM sticks installed. Originally, I had 3 1GB RAM sticks. I still have those laying around and I also have 3 empty slots i could use. I would like to install 2 of them in order to have 8GB of RAM. 1: Is there any bad side effects of using 2 RAM sticks with a triple channel setup? 2: Would 2GB of RAM add much performance advantage? 3: Would it be best to use all 3 1GB sticks in order to get 9GB of RAM instead?

Basically, you are pre-purchasing the Huey. You pay for it now and get the official product once its completed and at the same time you get to play the beta version of the game (which is the version people are playing on right now.)

Yes indeed. But it wasn't a question of being convinced but rather if it was absolutely necessary or not. I've always wanted a set of pedals but never wanted to spend the money for them.

I wonder if i could dissemble my MOMO wheel and use that to build rudder pedals... Quickly, to the bat cave!

I understand very well what you mean and its the reason why I haven't been using them as rudders so far. Just out of curiosity, what do you think would be best between racing pedals and the twist axis?

I have a Logitech MOMO racing wheel with pedals. Would that work for rudders? Only problem is I'll have to keep the wheel plugged in in order to use the pedals.

I'm thinking of getting the Huey but I'm unsure of my current setup. I fly with a Saitek X52 and no rudder pedals (just the stick twist.) I've always thought that flying a helo without rudder pedals is far from ideal. Does anyone actively fly the Huey with a similar setup? How hard would it be to learn to fly the Huey without pedals?

Also, make sure your throttle is at zero before deploying the chute or it may rip off as well (took me a while to understand that one.)

Thats what I've been doing but everytime it circles once before it gets into position to land. I remember a user-made mission I played once and almost as soon as the mission stared there was a C-130 landing.

Don't want to start a new thread just for this: I want to have a C-130 be on final approach as the mission starts so I can see it land when starting up my plane. How can i do this?
