  1. Really impressed, good work. Pman
  2. As with any warbird (or aircraft really) you really have to "listen" to everything that the aircraft is telling you, whether that be by sound or by how she is moving on the runway. There are always little telltale signs as to what is going to happen next, it all comes down to experience and knowing what to expect. I didnt have too much trouble with take offs and landings with the Dora, only issue I had with my first landing was I turned into finals with too much of a run into the field and lost sight of it. I prefer combat fighter style landings and a nice curved approach, I have found this works just as well in the Dora or the Mustang. I will do a couple of videos this week if I get abit of time :) Pman
  3. Your Welcome :) Pman
  4. I will do some videos for how I do take off and landings of the stang and 190 during the week :) Its alot easier then people make it out to be and with practice smooth take off and landings are quite easy to achieve Pman
  5. Stability on the netcode has been vastly improved over the past year, in no small part thanks to the testing team going through all the reports we gave them *thumbs up* The Virtual Aerobatics Server gets full most evenings with 32 players on a 100/100 dedicated line. I have had it up to 64 but then it can be ait laggy with people with higher pings. But in general, things are much improved over the past few patches Pman
  6. I was only referring to the demo from CptSmiley, I have no information of anyone else making DCS F16 of any variant :) Pman
  7. This is very old now and was part of the free demo that CptSmiley did Its no longer in active development by him as it was only a demo of the technology and not intended as a full module for DCS Pman
  8. No, the server just loaded the wrong mission on its reboot Pman
  9. Down on the Virtual Aerobatics server as well Pman
  10. I am also very blessed in that I got to spend alot of time with Erich as well and he has amazing clarity of mind to the point that I was envious. He has some amazing insight into the performance of the aircraft he flew against other fighters including some tricks that they used to deploy during combat. We spoke for nearly an hour simply on takeoff technique in a Bf109G-K, I look forward to being able to put into practice some of the lessons and experience that he has passed on. I was also fortunate enough to be able to give him his first chance to have a sit in a Spitfire Mk XIV, I think he appreciated seeing the aircraft from a different perspective after fighting them all those years ago! Something we will make use of with out MkXIV ;) Pman
  11. Yeah have to admit it would be a day one purchase for me as well Pman
  12. Your welcome :) Pman
  13. And there in lies the difference. This wasn't an air show. The people there knew what was happening and were consenting adults. End of liability discussion. If it was during an air show then you have a point but it wasn't and this was a private event and well within the skill of the pilot and capability of the aircraft. Pman
  14. Nothing yet ;) Pman
  15. I believe Chris is sorting this early next week Pman
  16. Yeah utter rubbish isn't it... Pman
  17. No although Ells may not be able to help himself!! Pman
  18. All im going to comment on this is that I knew the pilot personally and there is no finer pilot of a Spitfire that I have ever seen before or since. Sadly it wouldnt be allowed nowdays and that is a great shame The most capable pilot I have ever known Pman
  19. I never managed it with a vgpu reliably, if you have then good for you :) But that's not my experience Pman
  20. Just ran on its own no problem, although for the automated scripting I scripted Windows so that when rdp disconnects it doesn't log the user out Pman
  21. Virtual Aero runs fine by rdp Pman
  22. Cant be done without a DX compatible card. If your running this on a headless VPS box then it wont work, no way around it using a virtual GPU Pman
  23. oh for sure, It was prob the highlight of my weekend without doubt :) I only wish I could have spent more time with him :) Pman
  24. There are indeed Pic of me with a pilot called Eric at Duxford last weekend. Really was an amazing experience, I loved spending time with him and discussing the aircraft that he flew and his opinions on them and his attitude to live itself. It was a really honor getting to pick his mind about some unique handling characteristics of those aircraft. I still sit here and am in amazement about it Pman
