  1. No, it wont be modified Pman
  2. That part
  3. You can bet there will be a few floating around if last year is anything to go by ;) I wouldnt rule it out mate, Its something that we have considered doing and will look at more seriously in 2015, but as before no promises. Just an appendum ED DO support us in doing these events, both with where we are hosted as well as marketing materials and announcements :) As above really, not going to rule it out in the years going forwards. For us obviously the concern about moving some of our gear stateside is the big catch but nothing that cant be overcome. Pman
  4. lol, that there would! Nice idea tho :p Pman
  5. Feel its fair to add that we are stationed inside with The Fighter Collections aircraft, P3d and Warthunder had paid for markee's in the grounds Pman
  6. The only ones that I am aware of are the ones that we are doing for them at Duxford, this weekend, Legends in July and then the September show. Other shows is something that we are looking into for next year, however no confirmations at this point Pman
  7. Not true, last year P3D was being demo'd as was WarThunder Pman
  8. Hi Guys, Thought I would chip in here, Every time we have displayed DCS at Duxford we have had an amazing response to the point that last year the onsite store sold out of physical copies of P-51D while we were there, 4 boxes worth. As well as members of the public we have access to a huge array of pilots from every walk to life, this provides invaluable information. We have shown the Hawk at Duxford for the past few shows as well as all the other modules and cant be more pleased with the feedback we have. At the last show we had the setup open to the public for about 5 hours a day and had queues solid around 40 men deep at times. We are looking forward very much to demo'ing the Mig21 at Duxford this weekend and gather valuable feedback from both people who know DCS and those who dont. Hopefully we will see many people from the DCS community at the show as well :) I have no doubt that this is a massive step for the guys at Leatherneck and the importance of that first unveil can not be under estimated. Its a massive task and is always a point of nerves when something that you have worked on for so long is finally being unveiled to the public at large. Pman
  9. haha, no I didnt actually But now that you mention it, I'm not driving all weekend :D Pman
  10. lad to hear that you guys like that Hawk :) Those of you who didnt make it can of course catch us at Duxford next week! Or even if you were there why not come along and meet some of the VEAO team :) Pman
  11. Never say never ;) Pman
  12. Regarding your first section with taxi light etc - NDA I have never doubted the benefits of having dual controls, Its not a case of not wanting to do it just a case of not being able to do it at this point in time. For the time being we have many more important things to dedicate manpower too. Speaking as a pilot from the Virtual Horsemen we are looking forward to taking people for rides like you say. But working from this side of the fence I know the vast amount of work it will take to get it working as well. It will come, I just cant say when Pman P.s if you saw the work load I have to deal with you would retract that Salesman remark :P
  13. Alot of the things you would like answers to I cant get into due to NDA. But comparing something like FSX with DCS is like comparing apples and oranges. They work so differently. Especially when it comes to ASM and Flight modelling. This makes it a very complicated feature to include. As/when the feature does come it will be a full dual control, I don't agree that there is any value in adding twin seat control if only some of it works. When it happens, we will do it to the same degree of fidelity as the single stick. But trust me in that if it was something we could do easily we would already have done it. Pman
  14. I appreciate that its been trialed in other flight sims, But DCS works very very differently to DCS. Sadly its not as simple when you are talking the degree of fidelity that DCS provides vs other flight sims. Re Buzzpilot's question, to the best of my understanding that connection is not possible at this stage. It is possible within DCS but its a case of a combination of 3rd parties and ED getting it working and it will take time. I couldnt even begin to think of an ETA of it on the Hawk at this moment in time. But as soon as we can we will incorporate it into the Hawk Pman
  15. Great bunch of guys and I know that anyone who joins them will have a great deal of experience to draw upon. Wishing you all the best from the Virtual Horsemen, Great Warbirds Historic Flight and of course me! Pman
  16. Im not going to get into the details of it other then we have made no secret of the fact that we are looking seriously at this for the hawk That said. I wish the quoted text above was true. It is not. Pman
  17. Both, I own the hardware but its in a rented slot in a server centre Pman
  18. Hi, It depends what your objective is, how many people, what kind of mission, how long it needs to run. Upload limits are the biggest issue. DCS uses HUGE amounts of upload bandwidth (VA goes over 20gb per DAY regularly) Regarding the machine it needs a dx9 card/chip running windows server 2012 with some tweaks. Turn render off and a few other options and away you go. Pman
  19. Sadly no, We are not planning on doing a P-47 Pman
  20. Flight lead is a Bf109E4 and on right wing BF109G10 :)
  21. Yeah textures are very much WIP for all of them :) Pman
  22. hahah I can see Cobra's worried brow now :p Pman
  23. Looking forward to seeing all of you there! Sadly due to the fact that its a supersonic aircraft no one outside of the military would be allowed to fly it on a PPL or the like in the UK, so sadly it would only ever be a ground runner in the UK Pman
