  1. I use about 25 curve and full saturation but then I dont do combat on the Stang at all. But for formation Aero then you cant do it without abit of curve unless you have a stick extension Pman
  2. I think Nicks right on the money here, it wouldn't surprise me to see an FC3 one completed by the community. One with full ASM is not only a mammoth task but a lot of the data is still under tight restrictions and even if we have it we are not allowed to produce a high fidelity sim for some parts of it. At best I'd expect a FC3 version :) Pman
  3. As Silver Dragon said if you want to do it as a public mod then you can do it with an SFM as its a jet, if it was a prop aircraft then the public SFM is a problem as props dont work with it correctly. If you want to discuss with me about the idea of doing a more detailed project then drop me a pm and we can chat :) But there is no reason you couldnt do a simple mod yourself without too much effort :) Pman
  4. Currently we have just over 750 entries, if we can get it over 800 then I will add another copy of the Hawk and Sabre to the prizes! So get telling your friends! The more that enter the more there is to give away! Pman
  5. I swear to god these guys have me bugged or on GPS or something...
  6. Yes exactly that It gives people a chance to see DCS in a 3d environment without having to try and learn to control an aircraft for the first time as well. Alot of the people we see at Duxford havent tried DCS before and we thought this was a great way to show them what can be done :) Pman
  7. Thanks Guys, One or more of us is often on the Virtual Aerobatics server a few times a week, pop into our TS and ask if we are around. There are always a good number of experienced pilots on the server :) It will look awesome on the Rift and give you guys a chance to fly along with us doing abit of aerobatics ;) Pman
  8. That I will. Appearing at a Nandos near you soon ;) With VEAO Goodies :D Pman
  9. Yup we will be in Hangar 2 with The Fighter Collection, probably next to the Seafury :) Pman
  10. Look forward to seeing you at Legends :) Pman
  11. If you guys want a preview of what to expect for the Rift demo here is a clip of one of the practises :) We would love to know what you think :) Pman
  12. Good Luck Everyone :D Pman
  13. My you have sharp eyes ;) Pman
  14. If I had the money I would have just ordered one Enough said Pman
  15. Loops should have the same entry speed and exit speed, altitude and heading. Barrel rolls should have the same heading, speed and altitude as well, although you will be 100ft to the left or right of the plane of travel. Aileron rolls (what you were speaking of before) 5-10 degrees nose up and slam the stick one way or the other. Balancing with push and rudder just negates the slight incline. You dont have to do this to pull a good Aileron roll. Things like 4 points etc you just have to pull up enough to give yourself time to perform the turns. Trying to balance the rudder etc on one of those is a waste of time which is why the real display pilots just pull up abit before doing them. Hammerheads and Cubans are abit more complicated and best explained as being performed. Pman
  16. Just to build on what Rock was saying. Your best bet for abit of flying tutorial is to jump into the Virtual Aerobatics teamspeak and just ask someone. Rock and I are normally on the server a couple of times a week throwing the Mustang around. Speed control is crucial to accurate aerobatic displays. Getting the correct rudder trim set is also crucial as without it you will be slipping and sliding round everything increasing the drag of the aircraft and screwing up your speed control. Practice makes perfect, Sadly I dont have time to make videos as you suggest, my evenings are busy enough as it is haha Pman
  17. that depends on what you determine as a very long time. but its not going to be within the next couple of years that's for sure. Pman
  18. The Gripen is something in our long term dev plans. Don't expect it soon, but it is very much on our radar. Pman
  19. This got brought up recently in one of our threads as well. The problem with VEAO d ping an F16 is a couple of points 1) BMS is out there and we would be competing with a very established market. 2) Being primarily in the UK we have no access or contacts for any variant of the F-16 3) There is still a good portion of the F-16 thats classified. We made the decision that unless a military contract comes along we can't do an F-16 Obviously this just applies to VEAO some of the other 3rd parties will have their reasons. I personally am looking forward to more cold war jets :) Pman
  20. Crawl before you can run ;) Pman
  21. Yup, I snagged myself a £2 bargain :)
  22. Hiya, Just a word of warning you put on 5 degress right aileron trim instead of rudder trim I've started it when we have been rushing for the horsemen in about 25 seconds :) Pman
  23. I really liked III, tried IV but it was too buggy for me V put me off when I could only ever command one type of U-boat Pman
