  1. Thank you for the kind words :) Pman
  2. Thanks guys :) Alot of hard work went into this, to be honest it was tight converting to Sabres from Stangs within 7 weeks but I think we can all see that the result was worth it. Thanks for your kind words Pman

    F-117 Nighthawk

    Very VERY true Pman

    F-117 Nighthawk

Source? Was certainly one of the big 3 reasons why we made it very clear that we would never do one... Pman
  5. The confirmation is here, Due to the volume of work that it would take to re-do alot of the ASM we are not doing multi crew on the Hawk. There is a small possibility that we may in the future get seat swapping working but it is not currently being worked on, however this is only a possibility and not a promise that we will do it. This would only allow a single pilot to swap between the front seat and the back seat, not allow two people in the same aircraft. TLDR: No we are not going to do Multi-Crew on the Hawk. Pman
  6. No you do not Everyone who has brought hawk via whatever method will get the EFM Pman
  7. No Pman
  8. That's what is currently being looked into Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  9. No way of logging the bans after the server resets without slmod. The problem is that this costs us £70+ to run and we have to consider if we are willing to keep paying for it in the state it's in. Va won't go anywhere but we also are not just another free flight server we have rules and create a safe environment for pilots. At the moment we can't do that. 10. We used to have scripts just like that but they are no longer working in 1.5 Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Sadly it just made it no fun for anyone and defeated the entire purpose of the va server. We are continuing to brain storm Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. Due to some people thinking it's a huge amount of fun shooting down everyone (and in 1.5 our scripts no longer work) we are having to have a rethink. No firm decisions yet Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. Not going to Lie, until a breakthrough by one of the admin team we were having discussions about just abandoning the idea as we had spent hundreds of hours trying to get everything working again But its looking more promising now, in the process the server has had a major network and hardware update, im excited to see what it can handle now :D Pman
  14. Well the good news is we finally managed to fix the server and it is now running DCS, we are loading an updated version of the mission on to it and finally we should be up and running by the weekend Pman
  15. Nice Guys And you are welcome, we will do another event of some description soon, maybe before xmas. If it is of interest I may setup a date for a Q&A with myself an maybe Chris if he is around Pman
  16. Not exclusive mind, 6 of our 8 active development aircraft are ww2 era (give or take a couple of years for Bearcat) and a further 2 of those are jets. Personally I love the stick and rudder aircraft :) Pman
  17. As much as I would love ground combat in DCS the level of detail on the maps would need to be drastically increased I would guess. Its great for air ops looking down but long before I started with VEAO I tried CA quite abit and loved the idea, but I found the AI to be absolutely deadly, even on average. Pman
  18. Not true for any of the war birds pilots I have spoken to (must be over 50 now) General rule of thumb is 3 wheels on grass and 2 on hard. Although if the pilot has a preference in general its their call for either. 3 wheels on grass just gives slightly better control on the immediate seconds after touch in my experience, but mileage will vary. An Example is Dan Friedkin will only ever 3 point an aircraft on grass unless he has no choice but to 2 point it. Pman
  19. And how would you know what has been redacted or not? ;) Bear in mind those in the know won't be able to confirm it in public anyway for the same reason it's redacted in the first place ;) Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  20. I don't know the specifics of what is or is not taken into account, Yo-Yo would need to answer that. The Horsemen always comment that what we do in the sim is harder then what they do in real life, Which we take as a big compliment by the way! But they do rely on senses of movement and feedback from their gut that bar a totally enclosed immersive environment on a D-platform you just can't get from a PC. It wasn't the landing that was a problem for what it is worth, and having conducted thousands of landings in the P-51 it really is quite natural when you don't fight it, you should see some of the things we can get away with if we are careful! It was more the handling of the aircraft on the take off roll that really got their goats. I'm really not here to comment on my own thoughts on the P-51 FM, more just a case of clarifying what the Horsemen experienced when I have been with them and DCS Pman
  21. Just to clear that up, I was actually there and chatting to the horsemen while they were doing this. Although it was close there are marked differences they noted, especially to do with the controller accuracy and interfaces. in total we have had them fly dcs with us (The Virtual Horsemen) 3 or 4 times now. But ground handling was one of the areas the real pilots struggled with. The problem comes with translating real pilot feedback against statistical data. Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  22. This topic is as old as time lol Feels like seeing an old friend when a new one pops up :P Pman
  23. That's not far off what I envisage our Duxford map being, that said it is still a long way away. Pman
  24. Shahdoh is actually a member of our staff ;) At the moment I am very hesitant with no server controls to roll out 1.5 Pman
