  1. Yeah I agree, I think the benefit will come to those who actually want to replicate an aircraft and learn to fly them properly. Flying a progressive campaign I thinkn would be the best way to approach such an aircraft and I may squeeze a T6 in later on in the schedule. Tigermoth would be good as well. We have done some internal testing in theory for Lanc but nothing firm yet, concentrate on the current tranche first :) Its not required but it is an internal criteria I have put on doing a Lanc, there are very few 4 engine bomber pilots around and access to the Battle of Britain flight and aircraft I consider crucial to being able to replicate an aircraft of that complexity. The truth of the matter is that should we not do a Lanc then you probably wont get any 4 engine aircraft out of us within 4-5 years as we have a lot of other aircraft we would rather do instead. But lets not derail the thread with talk of bombers, if you wish to discuss post in our section and I'll respond there. Pman
  2. Our lanc will only become reality with consent from the RAF, if we can not make an agreement with them then we will not be doing a Lancaster. Aircraft like the B17 and B25 have no special interest to us I am afraid and do not feature in any of our plans, short or long term. The first Multi engine aircraft from us I currently expect to be the Mosquito. Beyond that there is no commitment from us on others for the time being. Pman
  3. Sorry lads aside from the Lancaster from us pending our agreement with the RAF we have no plans for any bombers. Not the large variety anyway, Mosquito is still very much in focus and I've been working on obtaining more reference data on that for work to start sometime next year. It was only a point of curiosity really regarding the Harvard. Once our first wave is done we could do one without too much trouble and might have made a good candidate for twin stick ww2 era. We haven't even started working on terrain yet, we've gathered some reference material but our focus has been on P40 and the aircraft after that. Pman
  4. That they are, some of the nicest guys I've met! And tallest... Pman
  5. I have been asked to do a T6 by a few aircraft operators, I have always shunned it as we got alot of flak for doing the Hawk as a trainer and I wasnt sure how much appeal there would be for one. I have access to 5-6 Harvards plus at least 20 pilots. Would you guys want such a module in the future? Same for the Tiger Moth, the amount of aircraft and pilots I have access to is insance, as well as a little time in one myself Pman
  6. Having it on a rotary would be good imo as a pilot. Even if you had to do 4-5 complete revolutions it would be closer to the real mechanic ? but I think that would be preferable to people who use Rift alot or have home build cockpits.....oh I wish.... Pman
  7. Very interesting thoughts... I'll bear that in mind Pman
  8. well progress has been made, the new server is up and is going through install testing etc, we are looking to put the beta on it but are coming up against some rather strange errors with 1.5 at the moment. Work is continuing, if we can't iron the issues out we will go back to 1.2.16, not ideal but its now at the point we want the server back up asap Pman & the VA Team
  9. Thanks Guys, we generally have alot of fun flying these routines and it is extremely challenging at times that's for sure. Nice to see you guys enjoy what we do! Pman
  10. I can't comment on the Hawk vs L39 actual performance and I really haven't tried. However AI performance is in no way related to an AFM, all AI aircraft use a form of SFM Pman
  11. Video of our Performance today :) And from the Great Warbirds Historic Flight on Friday :)
  12. Yeah there is one at Cosford, which I have gone and done reference photos of already. I've got a good relationship with the raf museum. However it greatly depends on the demand for something like a 410 as to if it would get done. Time will tell. Pman
  13. Just a quick note on formation flying, I fly Right wing for the Virtual Horsemen (if you havent seen our videos look here : ) We have also had long conversations with the Real Bremont Horsemen and they have tried formation in DCS and they have said to us that the Sim is harder then real life in their opinion (also abit of mine as well being a real life pilot). Dan Friedkin has said to us several times, as have the others, that what we do is harder then what they do due to the lack of feel and depth perception. Pman
  14. The point being that he told me the same thing as Erich ;) although for operational reasons they have different processes Pman
  15. Funny you should say that as I was sharing a beer with the pilot of Airbus's 109 at Flying Legends :) Pman
  16. From my conversation with him he intimated less then 2 seconds, more like 1 second from idle to full beans. I will go with his record over events over any paper document, after all he had to put his own life on the line flying the real ones :) Pman
  17. Erich told me the same also when I had the pleasure of meeting him. Pman
  18. G-2 gets my vote Pman

    Lost my Huey:(

As above, if you brought it outside of steam then the key will not activate through steam. There is no way to import it into it. You will have to purchase the module again to get it into steam. AFAIK there is big red writing warning of this on the product pages :) Pman
  20. Sorry that response irks me. I have been working tirelessly to sort this out and it may be dissapointing to you but it has been devastating to those of us who have dedicated over 2 years to the VA. Not too mention the vast cost of running the server, website and Teamspeak Pman
  21. I sent them a very stroppy email this morning Am awaiting a reply Pman
  22. Nope not in our release schedule, this was a private mod from years ago Not in any of our plans to do a Corsair or a P-38 Pman
  23. Isn't this getting a little side tracked? If people want one so bad then there is the option of making your own 3rd party team and creating it yourself :) Pman
  24. I for one can't wait :) Looking good guys Pman
  25. Congratulations to all the winners from VEAO Simulations :) Pman
