You should have asked me then :) We have modeled an A-8, but work on the systems and FM have not begun yet, It is unlikely to see much attention until the end of 2017 at the earliest Pman

I personally don't see the problem with GA aircraft, It is already well known that we have made a couple of extreme aerobatic aircraft for tech demos etc. I wouldn't rule out a public release of those in the future. Would we ever do one? Tbh if there was the interest in the team to do it then yeah, why not? I'd find it quite interesting to do a small seaplane and move from river - river and lake - lake etc. I'd take the fidelity of DCS as sufficient to overcome the shortfalls of the map size. Just my opinion :) Pman

You guys seem to think it's a commercial decision by the rights holders. When not in the know I would suggest you avoid making assumptions. Sadly I can not go into greater detail but don't think the viability of a f4-whatever has passed all the 3rd parties by. Pman

Would be nice to see some updates for the Android app as well :) I actually had an Ipad and brought your app then, swapped to an android tablet and brought it again So you've had me twice! lol Pman

Please don't guess. I realise that with lack of information people are prone to it but just please. Our relationship with Boeing is actually excellent and thanks to them some of our non public projects have opened up greatly. We don't have issues with anything past 1950 (Typhoon and Hawk are good examples). Also the aircraft that the team behind typhoon will work on after it is complete is post 1950 as well. More on that at the time. As for circuit board technology you'd be surprised how far you can simulate in dcs in the name of accuracy, it's just a case of cost vs benefit. Pman

Please direct me to any recent high fidelity simulator that fully simulates radar, engines and weapon systems on any variant of the F4 Pman Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Sometimes for very good reasons we can't go into details as much as we would like to, and yes it does make us come across as smartass' however there is no way around that. We will be honest, would we like to do one? Of course, but for a couple of extremely good reasons we can't And in this game we are not always at liberty to discuss why we have to do something. Pman

We are bound by requests by parties external to us to abide by their requests. As such I will not get into the ins and outs on the F-4 Phantom But just because someone doenst explain themselves to you doesnt mean there isn't a good reason for things, suggesting something is tenuous is sheer guesswork on your part Somethings you will just have to live with not knowing :smartass: Pman

Incorrect. Please do not make assumptions about things you are not informed about :) Pman

This is true, plus all the internal notes from when they used to run the engines in the 70's and 80's I have all the data we need to make the module, its just time ;) Look out for it in our second tranche of warbirds :) Pman

Let me once again reiterate how pleased we at Virtual Aerobatics are to have been able to assist in this flight. Sad times often bring people together. Blue Skies Blooze Pman

Hi Guys, Just an update really, WE have finally resolved the issues with the new hardware and the server has performed exceptionally well in the tests we have performed internally. So it is with great pleasure I can post that the VA server is now back up and running full time :) Pman, Rock & The Virtual Aerobatics Team

Virtual-Aerobatics.Com 3 Year Anniversary Air Show
Pman replied to VH-Rock's topic in Community News
Sadly the Spitfires that we flew today are a private mod for a MkIa Spitfire. It is in our plans for an early Spitfire as a VEAO module but it isn't this specific model or mod However glad that you liked the show! it was sure a challenge doing it in that weather! Pman -
You may not know, But I can assure you that I do At least 5 of those aircraft are classified or have classified systems Pman

We are currently working on a new layout as we are migrating the server to a more permanent solution in the next month or so. When that is done we can expand more options in the misson/missions. We are also contemplating having 2 days a week with nevada on the server as well. Pman

Yup same there, I love my 34" 1440p screen, but I couldn't understand such a niche product being so expensive. Very disappointing.

I have to admit I am bitterly dissapointed with the pricing of the rift. I've used the VEAO DK2 a few times for various games and its quite good, but I was never really sold on the idea when the definition was just not there. To see this priced at £530 in the UK is just too much money for what it is I think. Had it been £399 then I could of maybe justified it but the extra £130 just pushes the boundary slightly too far. Shame really, but I expect the price will drop within a year or so and I don't need one for the 2 or so games that I would use it with. Pman
