  1. As we say in Spanish: "Las cosas de palacio van despacio"...
  2. No I can't :joystick: :D
  3. From the old times playing Jane's F-15E? I kind of remember such mounting, but I am unsure about it.
  4. With practice I can now pick up cargo with a 15 sling rope while hovering in strong winds.
  5. Then you try the Mi-8 and miss the Ka-50's AP. Hahaha...
  6. Big Bada Boooom!
  7. AH-64 and Mi-28.
  8. From the top of my head I would say yes.
  9. ¡Muchos ánimos desde España!
  10. Haha, precise cargo unload is the thing that gives me more headaches these days. Small zones less than 100 m in the bottom of a bowl valley with aleatory winds and no smoke markers :joystick: :juggle:
  11. Well, I tested it and although moving the piper after ground stabilisation is not easy, the laser guided missiles impact where it designates.
  12. I can confirm what Looney says about AGC. I was involved in the AGC circuitry design and testing of the SINCGARS radio in the 90's.
  13. I have found that using 30 m gives me the ability to hover with barometric altitude autopilot engaged out of the ground effect. Engaging it too low takes me up and out of the rope length. Or maybe it is my clumsy left hand :joystick:
  14. Does it increase the risk of damaging the cargo? I mean by dragging it or by the sudden pull? I often damage cargo when lifting it from ground.
  15. Hi all! Do you use other sling rope length besides the default 15 m? Do you see advantages in doing so?
  16. Yes and no. Yes for the new MB, but no for old MB, and for old I can refer to an Asus X58 board, like the P6T V2 with support for i7 Nehalems. And just updating the BIOS does not updates the device drivers that Windows uses. Intel has chipset software updates, but a different thing is Windows installing all the controllers for the all devices automatically as it should be. That is why I advise to update them, say, once at least.
  17. Good morning. I just want to share a bit of knowledge about how to avoid loss of performance due to old drivers. I am not talking about graphics drivers or known peripherals. I am referring to system devices mainly (to all actually). It surprised me that in these times of autoupdates various system drivers where at 2006 level, so I began to update all drivers in the device manager one per one by hand (letting Windows look for a driver in Internet for each one). Many system devices and others where updated and even their name and structure changed in the DM. Since then the performance is more consistent and the system seems more fluid. I guess some devices were bottlenecks and updating their drivers made them work properly. I think this problem is aggravated due to the recent trend of Windows upgrading like 8.1 and 10. Well, try it if you like and see if it helps you with stuttering and hiccups. Regards.
  18. I love this helo.
  19. You can black out from air braking? What a brakes!
  20. Well, to be totally fair, the F.E. helps to fine tuning the A.P. in stabilized flight after a 'trimming feast" like multiple attack runs, but you have to stabilize first.
  21. And then is when you switch on the KO-50 :cold:
  22. Hahaha! I think the flight engineer shouldn't have passed the Army's psychological tests, he is always trying to kill me too!
  23. Thanks, it works! However i do not know if I should use it too much... :joystick:
  24. Same setting? Is it the same setting? I have the GUI in Spanish.
