  1. That would be cool, it adds a lot of immersion and really strengthens the simulation part of the game, the modules that have this kind of things are the best ones. Its the only thing DCS Falcon lags behind other F-16 simulations.
  2. They are the same. In fact, at the beginning of this year, most of the FC aircraft had a big update on interior and exterior models including new cockpits.

People, NEVER change anything in your lifes for an update or a module release, always have the thought in your mind that it will be delayed, you´ll be happier and wont be let down, in fact you´ll get only good surprises, I learned the lesson some time ago, and it works, hehe. Its true that the Chinook thing is weird, mainly because theres 0 content about it besides some pretty images from trailers (thing that has never been done before the launch a module that I can recall, and it doesn´t inspire much confidence), but the update is delayed only by one day and its the middle of the week, so it´s not that bad.

  6. Very good idea, tanker lights are hardly visible or directly invisible when you do AAR, this would be a very useful addition indeed.
  7. Sorry but I cannot see the problem, those low poly models are ideal for mission creation, specially when you have to populate airbases or carriers. I hope they will never get removed, just updated.
  8. Yea, that was a feature we used to have in the editor, no idea why it was removed, it was very useful and its a basic thing to have.
  9. It will never come, just accept it. Its a useless weapon when there´s wind, and it will always be.
  10. Another thing that worked for me, besides de affinity thing, is to turn the civil traffic OFF. No stutters at all after that.
  11. With a good blueprint? Yes, of course. Not including textures or animations, that is.
  12. Of course it takes time, Dragon, but not 5 years... They are doing it, but the pace is painfully slow. A good 3D modeller can make any of those in under a month.
  13. No, don´t do that. We should keep them. Those low poly models are great to be used as objects to populate air bases or carriers without great impact on performance. Also, it´s not just F-4, F-16 or 18 also have a low poly versions.
  14. There´s some more, Su-30 is also a model from LOMAC times. Looks like ED is preparing a new (paid) product with a lot of 3D improved models for land and air assests, will see if all those are included
  15. Thats enough for me, I was exploring in the editor but couldn´t find them, under what category are they?
  16. About the Massun Asset Pack, were not the personnel models included? Its a shame, because all the models we have are from the navy and supercarrier, It would have been nice to have some air force personnel to put in our missions, they can even move and make signals (the ones from the mod), why werent the included?
  17. Its very easy. When you´re on the plane, you open the windows task manager, go to details tab, right click on DCS, set affinity, and you´ll see the four cores, unmark the last one, accept, right click again, mark it again, so you have all four selected, go back to the game. Check if stuttering gets better. I´m telling you this because I also have a 4 core CPU, and a 1050ti, and this solves most of the issues. When playing in multicore, always one of the cores get stuck at 100% while the others have irregular performance, but if I do this, then all 4 stabilise at a smooth 80-90%. The not so good thing, is that you have to do this EVERYTIME you get into an aircraft.
  18. 2.9 and MT has been a blessing and a curse for A LOT of people. Performance is a lot better, but the stuttering is hellish. I would have abandoned the game because of that, luckily, one of the many possible solutions worked for me. My problems were exactly like yours, and the only thing that worked for me was to turn off and back on again, the affinity of one of the 4 cores of my PC while playing, have you tried that?
  19. Its not really that expensive if you think about other things in life. An aircraft that will give you hundreds of hours of fun an entertainment, cost the same than a nice dinner, a 2 hour concert or just one tank of gas hehe. And if you buy them on sales, is even better. I just wish they were more complete at launch and didn´t take them years to be finished.
  20. Where did I say I dont like it, exactly? I even said I would buy it. Its a brown arid country, and showing colored maps of scattered human made crops and pictures of some green areas which are not even representative of 5% of the country doesn´t change it. It´s like saying Iran is not mainly desert because of the Mazandaran province.
  21. Still mainly a desertic country, looked for images and videos of the Helmand valley, and I dind´t see a single forest or dense vegetation, just some light green patches of human crops. Forest cover like less of 5% of the whole country. Also, you can just use satellite images or even Google Earth to realise its a 90% arid country. It´s not the Sahara, but dont talk bout it like its a green country And having mountains its precisely one of the reasons that most of the country is so desertic. I´ll get the map because of its historic background, once is more complete, but I know I´ll be flying above all brown lands.
  22. Did you tried the CPU affinity thing?That´s the only thing that works for me
  23. It worked perfectly until 2021, so the render is clearly avaliable, its even present in the mission editor
  24. Agree, but they are constantly working on lesser priority bugs, like some minimal texture fixes or putting missing engine covers on AI planes when parking, instead of fixing an instrument that cant do what its designed to do, that whats bothers me.
