Heli Hell is insane,my stomach drops big time,just like in a real helo,that is the one thing missing from DCS in VR,my stomach doesnt drop or flutter at all.

I cant see the frame rate counter in rift view,its not readable

Are you running 3 monitors and the rift?

If you run the rift in extended mode there will be no tearing BUT the mouse cursor position is waaaay off,you cant click on anything in cockpit

I just did a bombing run and looking behind me and watching the bombs explode was unreal!!

So I dont know if any of you guys have tried this,if you havent shame on you!!! I just put on my trackir 5 and rift and guess what. I got 6DOF!!! I'm talking readible instruments and everything!!! Now the bad news,I never could get trackir to work right,jitters all over the place,loses track etc. But I'm thinking one of you guys with a good profile/environment could give it a try and provide some feedback.

Not sure,but the new dll definitely fixed immersion and scale for me.

So WITH the new .dll added I realize that when I said my rift was working fine earlier that it wasnt. It definitely works now,scale is perfect,totally awesome experience. All we need is better definition on Oculus part and this will be insane!! Btw the frosted side window on the Huey should be removed,you cant see out of it in the rift.

Here are some screenshots I took,look at them with your rift. As I stated earlier these are low res and you wont be able to read anything but you shouldnt feel like you are cross eyed either [ATTACH]96336[/ATTACH]

Try choosing stereo instead of 1 monitor. For me it doesnt matter if I choose 1 monitor or stereo,it just works. Also even though setting up the rift in extended mode seems to look slightly better,setting it up to clone the main monitor is easier. Keep in mind that you will not be able to read ANY cockpit text,in A-10C the only thing I can read are the words pull on the fire extinguishers. As far as video card I have an MSI GTX 570 twin frozer III with 4gig of memory and running Nvidia drivers 334.67.Wish I could help more

Seems to work fine for me,it is laggy tho,with the huey having the worst latency . My gtx 570 ain't cutting it

Are you playing in windowed mode maybe?

set monitors in game to stereo and aspect ratio to 16:10

If you have the steam version load steam,click games tab then view games.Right click on DCS world then click properties.click beta tab,then click open beta in the first pulldown box.

Just downloaded 1.2.8 and I cant see how I will ever fly again without the rift.There is still a lot of work to be done, I dont think there are any instructions on what settings you should use,and I didnt see my mouse cursor in the cockpit.Also it seems that running windows in extended display mode produced less tearing but my mouse clicks wouldnt work on the GUI. I wasnt going to order a DK2,but with the higher res and 6 degrees of freedom on dk2,I may have to breakdown and get it!! BTW turn the graphics down!!!

I dont know guys,at the rate we are getting sims from ED I would take DCS Spruce Goose at this point.

I would bet money something like that is going on,heres why. Oculus came to Wags to show off presumably DK2. Wags has a friend that works there,no idea who. I made a post a few weeks back stating(actually guessing) that Hawk was being delayed because they had to go back and add rift support,that post and all replies to it were deleted. Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist,but you never know lol.

Sounds fishy to me,I wouldnt give them a dime.

Here is something I would like to know,I know they added rift support in this next patch,but is it 3dof support for DK1 or the full 6dof for DK2,anyone know?
