a result of a mutliplayer debriefing could be a entry into the players logbook,..to be honest, i miss this feature, as you need to write down flight hours and landings manualy after multiplayer sessions..and couldn t import to the games logbook

hovered landings woth sideslope..i enjoy most, but as stated above from other pilots, it s needed to learn both technics, hover and rolling landing,.. best to learn smooth landings ist to land on a fregatte!)

i totaly agree with ertheralN, running mine e8500@4.0ghz with 500 psu from noname brand, an ATI 5770, an second sound device by EMU, 3x HDD, many USB peripherals and resultant no phantom reboots, no problems. i think i can get more speed from the e8500, but for now it s enough.. it s running

in my eyes you can not compare freetrack utility with Track Ir cause Freetrack does not provide the smooth and fast performance!) i return to statd: go get Tir and then later the WARTHOG HOtas, as you ll have a dual throttle then and not only those standard single engine throttle like COUGAR, X52 or CH solution offer.

mine ic2d e8500 is running actually at 3999 mhz, easily to overclock,..no sufficient temperature overheat,..even though with 9.5 multiplier. decision depends on your money bag^^ i think newer sockets will be better choice..as we don t know what wsill happen within next 1-2 years with cpu pendancy!)

yes, dcs is accepting axis input for the wheelbreaks, FC2 is similar to FC1-1.12b as key only..so you have to create a FC2 profile!)

my 5770 is running verry good, both sims, dcs and fc2 with minimum 30 fps(after readjust cpu freq to 3999 mhz!) easily overclocking capabilitie to 900+mhz.. for me it was a good buy..same for FSX, resulting in better image quality and frames in every situation..

just get a good HID USB controller board, as stated in other threads i build some modules for different sims and am usning a solution from CodeMercenaries called Keywarrior. havin 16x8 matrix you are able to connect 128 buttons and via a smart programing tool you can easily program the functions you want.. verry comfortable !) i m sure different brands do have same good possibilities

correct moa! thats the point, you cannot compare the different architectures of the chipset families!) sorry, but in my eyes, it s the wrong cpu for your system.. just try to overclock and you will see an effect..if it s positive, go get another, faster cpu,..if AMD or Intel, in my eyes it depends on personnel attitude whats the best choice,..in last years both perform verry well ..only hardliners prey..and you have a intel socket so..cheapest way is to stay on intel solution

to be honest, i had around 25fps with a 3,17 ghz cpu and an ATI 3870,my RAM is @800 and only 3072 MB... so for me it s your cpu, that is not as effectiv in FC2 like in other games... some other thoughts: have you already defraged your HDD, is there enough space left on the HDD, that some write and read operation didn t stotter how fast is the HDD in RPM. just trying to figure out how you can get some more!)

hey panzertard, thats a verry nice explanation, but please have a look @ his cpu core speed, 1,77 mhz is not enough for all those calculations you stated above. i think some of the processes you named could be a small fps impact around 2-3 fps, but to 11 it s a bit to hard i think. anyway he could assign these processes to the other 2 not used cores, or am i wrong and FC2 is providing quadcore activities?) EDIT best way to find out if its the cpu, is to overclock it in the BIOS, step by step and do some "benchmark flying" with same processes in background, same mission, same gfx setup. I am sure your 11 fps will increase with 400 mhz more!) pls. check out and give us response

even if you have a i7 core cpu, it seems to be the bottleneck for your problem, cause it s only running @1,7 ghz in my case, i oc´ed my e8500 to 3990 mhz and i have a minimum rate of 30 fps(vsync on) equal where to look to..and my gfx is not crossfire and only one 5770!)
