hey mister bad!) i know the simmeters products, but in my eyes..a little to expensive. so maybe there is a cheaper way..?? i wish to have some free time, but without i have no chance to help with the pvi led. i am working on my project in planing mode..but time is the missing key to realize bigger steps actually. but i am patient on that issue more or less, same like with the 2 WARTHOG things!)

Survey: Side Stick or Front and Center?
Scudslaker replied to polygonpusher's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
hehe, understood!) Blaze, i used a nearly same chair, without the arms for several years!) -

Survey: Side Stick or Front and Center?
Scudslaker replied to polygonpusher's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
i use both variants,.. i use a DIY cyclic solution standing on the floor, with an ergonomic twisted FighterStick grip from CH solution from center position while flying rotary winged aircrafts,..and for fixed wing i have a fixed Cougar stick on the right, screwed on a wood plate in an ergonomic height. i will take a picture on my pit variant if needed!) -
congrats CRC,..it whould be nice if you can arrange a good movie capturer to catch the pit in action on the stream.. sounds really impressive..and i m bit curious on that!) well what about the HUD? is it exportable too?
-
no concrete argument for me, cause i can t see a reason to do not allow interactions of SFM!) thx anyway,..for me it seems useless to discuss it further..we all have to wait for the resulting product..
-
hey Mustang, i don t understand, you used it, but won t fly with it? or am i wrong?) cheers SCUD
-
thx GGTharos, but i m really impressed,..to be honest, i can t see any fact that didn t allows the modules to communicate to each other, it s the network code that needed to be updated.. if one module has dx 11 and the other not and they can tell where the single pilot is and the other module can draw this, even if the map is more detailed,..why shouldn t it work? it s an option to make sfm planes flyable for humanplayer with another module.. i don t like the way of arguments in this thread. we ask for possible reasons why it shouldn t work and request to make it possible..what is dumb on that? we all are passionists in flying the ED products...pls keep seriously arguments..or tell me why i m wrong, and even Frazer should be wrong if he says the file structure is comparable between DCS and FC2. sincerely Scud
-
yes correct, that is what i mean, it isn t an old product!) that why i used the "..."
-
i agree with Frazer, i see no problems to make the modules speak to each other, including the older modules, the communication between the modules, is the only important fact in my eyes, that is needed to be realized. where is what vehicle, with speed, altitude and weapons.. there is no need to rework the "old" FC2 engine completely, means if it s compatible, there is no need for DX11 in FC 2, it s the future of gaming to bring all together and i think with a little work, it s possible. if ED holds on their moduled philosophie, means you need to think about what to fly, actually rotary or fixed wing, before you start a online session, you choose a module and see the other pilots even if you cannot take control of the planes included in the other compatible module, so what is the problem to have the old engine working with a newer engine together in one game room. i hope you understand what i mean, if i am absolutely wrong, tell me!)

can you post your setup pls?) cheers SCUD

nice,..like almost,.. em, ask the trigger!)

A-10 Nose Wheel Steering + Rudder Trim
Scudslaker replied to KungFuCharlie's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
AFAIK, the rudder trim effects the nose wheel steering, cause it s the same input source for both, in reality independent systems. si iwhould say, you are right in reality it isn t that way and i can t imagine a risk to loose an A10c cause it cannot steer after landing with a trimmers setzting of the rudder..!) cheers and best regards Scud -

LED panel generation is best choice.. cheap on oyur current bill,..colder then LCD panel,..you ll have best image quality with 1920-1080 resolution.. i use to fly on a 32 inch TV,...and to be honest..for me it s enough actually..next important hint, watch for a integrated pvr, personel video recorder..verry smart for capturing without fraps!=)

stupid wingmen and way to hard campaign missions
Scudslaker replied to Nickhawk's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
i do exactly the same!) low sneeking in, hiding behind hills or building, while observating target zone,..but working with datalink, my wingmen used to do what i wanted him to do!) -
DX11 worth or not,..discussion content is equal for me, the most important fact is: WAGS is keeping us informed,..and the time it take to finish this module, i m waiting in patience!) like all the other pilots do, more or less!) thx for sharing these impressions.
