Can you land a Cesna at Gatwick don't think its allowed at Heathrow I did ask the question and was told no only private jets and only allowed to be on the hard stand at T4 and no air bridge docking allowed stairs and bus to terminal only prices start from £3000 allegedly. In an emergency yes but you will be charged full price. Ever wondered why you get off the budget airlines down to the bus transfer because in order to keep prices low they don't want to pay airbridge reservation fees and docking fees.

  7. Has anyone noticed the parked Hueys on free flight instant action the ones at the other end of the airfield the M60's are not in their stowed position the doors are closed and the M60's seem to phase through the doors.
  8. ignore my above post as it appears you can not over write the new views the view for the Huey has been moved and theres a lot more in there so gonna leave it for the master. My reticule is all fine now its just not there until weapons are in safe mode or live. But I still have this annoying yellow text of the autopilot and weapons hints off centre. Peter I am sorry if I have put this in the wrong topic I have worked out from your tutorial on how to move the controls indicator got that right where I want it now, but I can't seem to find anything in the files relating to this yellowish text perhaps you know where I could find it.
  9. Found it its now in Mods/Aircrafts/UH-1H/Views there seems to be a lot added to this must be getting ready for more players in the Huey as there seems to be more than 1 player slot.
  10. I stand corrected you are right sir I also have no UH1 in the server lua anymore either all other aircraft are there but no UH1 strange.

  13. Yeah same as mine the flexi sight is better I think, I noticed after jumping in the co-pilots seat then shifting back to the pilots seat the reticule is off and won't re-centre like yours. But stowing the sight then bringing it back down seemed to correct it.

  17. BIGNEWY is right its weapons to live and the reticule is there for co-pilot a nicer reticule than the pilots to.
  18. Opps my bad I put the back up files back the same places as before seems ok to me I could be wrong though don't know if this is why the co-pilots flexi sight now has no reticule. However I now have the yellow onscreen weapons and autopilot info slightly off centre on my centre screen slightly off putting must be something in monitor config I suppose.
  19. The flexi sight for co-pilot now has no aiming reticule its disappeared.
  20. Ok cool thanks for that I thought perhaps that's how it should be as the pilot has enough to do without trying to keep moving the guns around its hard enough flying let alone having to keep tracking the guns onto target.
  21. Ok so update done and now we have the pilots sight I can no longer move the sight its fixed should it be like this does the pilot have no control over the guns we use to be able to move it I can't find anything in controls for pilots sight only the default flexi sight.

  24. Why not do away with said keyboard and mouse and just use the Leap motion.

Ditto to what everyone else has said its just practice makes perfect just go in to free flight and keep flying around the airfield doing approach circuits coming down almost to land then blowing off and going round again and again until you've nailed that part cleanly. Then move to trying to land to which there are so many variables involved, nose up will slow your approach nose down will speed it up it is a very fine balancing act between the collective and the cyclic to much or to little of either and its great balls of fire. Here's a tip maintain no more than 500ftpm decent once you see your speed drop below 60knts start adding collective gradually not sudden she will start to sink more so keep adding it and keep your decent above 500ftpm slightly keep the nose up on the ADI just above the first line ignore her if she starts to climb when doing this cause as your speed continues to drop whilst flaring the nose she will come back down on her own. If you see that needle on the decent rate move quickly from 500 to 1000 to 2000 pull out ad collective and push forward on cyclic to save yourself.
