Doesn't matter what I do all I see is the stupid NASA skin and both my pilots helmets are wrapped in a Huey skin to this is just ridiculous how many more hoops have I got jump through to get this back to normal. At ED please check and test all updates before sending them out this is like buying a new car and having to assemble it myself.

Same here no bullet noise or hits being heard no rocket noise when fired explosions ok got them. And the most annoying part which no one has said anything about upon a re-load for the third time no tracer fire at all which makes using the guns in the Huey a waste of time without tracer fire especially if you have lost the sight reticule.

b. Increase reticle brightness by turning the brightness knob toward the pilot (clockwise if looking from port side) or just scroll up with the mouse. And skins what happened to those.

Ditto awesome there I was flying around in the Huey thinking the scenery is looking a bit dated now and a bit plastic and fake looking. And now this truly awesome dude love it I am seeing things and colours as they should be even without running the SweetFX it looks heaps better I downloaded the SweetFX but have no idea where it goes I will get someone to walk me through that on TS from our squad.

I want this option back to we should really be given the choice to control the guns from the pilots position I don't really care if you can or can't in RL as in this I don't have a RL co-pilot to control the guns whilst I fire rockets its all down to me. Jumping from seat to seat is most frustrating just to change the line of sight just a little bit for the guns.

Flexible Sight - implementation not ergonomic/practical!
jay43 replied to Flagrum's topic in DCS: UH-1H
I'd like to get control of this back to buttons with the first launch of the Huey you could assign the movement of the flexi to a pov hat switch which also gave control to the guns to the pilot to from his seat. Now its not possible. -
How to adjust return-to-center delay in UH-1H Huey?
jay43 replied to EinsteinEP's topic in DCS: UH-1H
Are you sure its really that simple. -
Delete all control lua files as the new entries they have added will not work until all the old stuff you have saved is deleted.

Stick extension is the way to go I have one at 450mm and inputs are ever so smooth no curves or dead zones applied just default axis's.
-
I think the hit box could do with a tweak take some hits from small arms fire and you've lost radios compass adi ias flexi sight and control of guns just from a couple of enemy rounds.

[Review] Simped F16/USB vs. MFG Crosswind
jay43 replied to [DBS]TH0R's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Or just type in joycpl in the windows search from the programs menu -
I don't think there is any thing wrong with them keeping tight lipped about whats in the next update. To say anything about what we would be getting would only result in the community here holding them to it if you don't say anything you can't be held accountable. Currently ED don't say anything about updates until its ready and rolled out then you get a list of whats included and maybe a teaser or 2 of what they are currently working on with no dates for release.

The Kneeboard is easy to re-position the map though well that's another story I too would like to be able to condense it to my middle screen.
-
If I do that it shuts of 1 of my 3 screens for some reason as I have 3 which are running in Nvidia surround mode I have no idea why it would do that.
-
That doesn't work for me it nerfs my view up.
-
I went in to pick a pilot up and there were 3 enemies shooting up at me got to of them just before I pasted over the stream turned around to go back for the other one and he ran into the stream and drowned LMAO.

It is about as correct as it can be there is no need to start faffing around with the mast. Like I said your real world comparisons can not be compared to this virtual world due to the limitations of the virtual world. Never mind the fact that none of the Hueys in your pictures where you are drawing and dragging lines across are even sitting on level flat ground its just not comparable. If you really want to be that anal about it send me an accurate schematic of the Huey and i'll open it up in my works auto cad sit it on a flat level line and then I will drag lines across it and tell you what the angles are exactly but that still wont help.
-
Seriously is it that important I think not that is just a ridiculous thing to be even looking at. Don't forget the image you are comparing the real one to is by all accounts a game even if it is a simulation its still a game, did you actually morph yourself into the game with a spirit level and square rule to measure the dimensions no you dragged some lines across a screen capture how is that even anywhere near close to reality. Don't forget that in DCS world the skids usually submerge themselves into the ground texture ever so slightly. Also all those pictures of real Hueys would not have been parked on level ground either no runway in the world or hard stand is ever flat the ground always has a pitched angle to encourage water to run off to the drains so none of those Hueys would be sitting on level ground.

I used this stuff left over from my paintball days http://shop.dyepaintball.com/dye_am/dye-slick-lube.html Its not sticky very smooth and doesn't eat away at any rubber o rings or plastic parts.

That looks cool Live I will get you to talk me through it on TS

Bushmanni this mission is excellent we have been playing this over at 1stCavDiv and enjoying it immensely. We would like to know if there is anyway of removing the score card from the screen or just have it pop up every few minutes instead of on constant. We would also like to invite you over to play this with us as we are planning a company head to head.
-
wow that's cool Gremlin you have cracked the hard boiled egg nice job do you have any plans to get the switch panels to work like the radio panel and the others they do I hate having to look down and fumble for the mouse to change radio frequencys.
-
They are way to weak and bounce off the tanks although guns do a good job of AAA, APC, Mortars, Ground troops and Sams the key to tackling the sam site is flying super low skiming the ground head to head dodging missiles and then when close enough hit with the guns and its out.
-
Time you already joined us at 1stCav and we regularly play missions with gunships taking the lead with slicks in tow you should come and have a go with us sometime we have lots of very good missions already with lots more in the making.
