  1. So I searched on the forums and didn't see anything about this. Anyone know what it means?
  2. What would it take to push the 1V1 back oh say 3 hours? Maybe a plate of doughnuts? Maybe 2 plates of doughnuts :) I have a gun class to attend on Saturday from 8am to 3pm est and I can't miss it. Sucks I really want to fly in this :(
  3. Which FF stick are you using? Have you experienced the A-10C FF recently?
  4. I wanted to share my opinions on the use of force feedback in flight simulations, especially DCS World. I've been flying simulators for quite some time. Ever since I got my Microsoft Sidewinder I have been hooked on the ability to really feel responsive input from the aircraft I'm flying. I've been through 3 other flight HOTAS setups since that time and I finally fell in love with the Logitech G940 HOTAS. I know a lot of you have read about its crappy pots and its inability to properly register axis direction change without using a software fix compromise, but to be honest I don't think I would want it any other way. I need my force feedback. I have noticed that the A-10C force feedback is now broken. It is impossible to trim the nose down with FF on. Full forward trim and I still have to push the stick forward to maintain straight and level. This is also a big problem with the Su-27. The flanker is a nightmare to fly with FF on. I don't even bother. It is impossible to fly. The plane wants to nose up so bad that even with full forward stick and full nose down trim you just can't keep it from climbing. Don't get me started on the helicopters. I like flying the Huey and the Blackshark but good luck because as soon as you engage the AP the stick will recenter in the wrong place and you have to fight it to keep the bird from smashing into the ground. Developers!!! If you need to know how to make FF work, please look toward the F-86, Mig-15, F-15, Mirage, P-51. All of these aircraft's FF work so well that it should be illegal. It is an absolute pleasure to fly them. Which brings me to 2 points. Are there many people that feel the same way I do? And secondly if any developer needs help testing a FF profile I would be so so so so so happy to offer my time to help figure out what feels right. Please don't stop supporting FF. Please don't give up on FF.
  5. Gave it my best. Didn't have enough time to play around with the Su-27 :( MidKnight_BC_11292015.rar MidKnight_GC_11292015.rar
  6. Wow... I had been trying to do this with the Sabre and the best I ran was 130/150 and that was pretty difficulty. You've opened my eye's to just how crazy straight the 27 fires. I may take a shot at this tonight and see what happens :) Nice job for real though.
  7. I've got a funny attempt too. The ending is where it gets interesting :) This is NOT an entry. GC_Dragme.rar
  8. That's funny... I landed my first drop within 3m and then my second drop I did exactly like you did... lol.

  10. I just wanted to chime in on this too. I have the logitech G940 and even if I trim full nose down, at around 580kph the nose starts to float up and can only be stopped by holding constant forward pressure on the flight stick. I have adjusted numerous settings with FF in game with no actual resolve. As soon as you disable FF in game the flanker flies like a dream (all be it I had to adjust my curves to lessen the sensitivity of the pitch). It takes only very little trim to get the jet flying straight and level at that point. From other modules I have flown... the F-15 and P-51 FF trim seems to work correctly. The stick will actually move forward and pressure is re-leaved from the control surfaces. I actually have noticed that the black shark and huey suffer the similar problem though.
  11. So that pretty much confirms it more than likely. He's running 2x GTX 980's SLI and has good performance. We can probably chock this one up to intense graphic setting.
  12. I have the same issue. Windows 10. Nvidia Surround.
  13. I hear you on that man. I'm here on NC coastal area. Hoping we don't loose power over the weekend. I need to go buy a generator right now :)
  14. NEW POST!!! 1.5 in a few hours!!! GLEEEEE!!!!!
  15. So... just a quick poll. How many times have you tried launching DCS hoping the update for 1.5 would pop up?
  16. Before anyone else bashes you, you may want to consider moving your posts to the Sim Topics threads. Your posts don't really fit in here and will derail this thread if others start replying to you.
  17. I don't think it will. I'm still rocking back and forth in the bathroom corner waiting for DCS 2.0 to be released.
  18. I'm going to have to say… that runway texture almost had me in tears. Looks mighty fine… mighty fine indeed.
  19. I tested at 30% trimmer force and it is still garbage. Pulls up constantly at all speeds. I also disabled the force feedback completely in game and the 27 flies like I would expect it to fly. Nice and level once trimmed out. Granted I personally think the trimmer speed is to fast but this may be how fast the real 27 trimmer moves.
  20. I'll try that and let you know. It would seem if I turned it down it would trim even less.
  21. I can confirm the same issue with trimming. I use the Logitech G940 and I have full forward trim and I am constantly fighting to push the nose down. I can tell that it does do something, it's just no where near enough for straight and level flight. This is at all speeds.
  22. I would buy the shit out of that :) Of course it would need to feel real as much as possible. Are there pit screen of this thing?
  23. Thank you. I had never manually had to run the DCS updater. I found your post on the updater commands. Very helpful. Downloading update now. Thanks
