Ive been flying with the anon guys quite a bit. Mastiff is a cool guy. All of them are really. I'm a night flyer so having those guys in another time zone really helps me out. I actually just watched that vid the other day too. Seems like no matter how much you fly the 25, you always feel like a stranger in the end :)

Sometimes all a developer really needs to keep at it is genuine appreciation for their hard work. Keep it up :)

I agree, OBS is definitely the best option. First of all it's free and being that it is primarily built as a streaming recorder it does a great job of recording over LAN as well. I have mine set to record video to a separate storage server and it never misses a beat. Encoding with NVIDIA.

I would have been dying laughing if I was in that server. Bookmarked.

I just want to thank you guys for what you do extra, like streaming actual work being done on the project. I personally feel like that is a great way to show progress on a project. I don't think I've seen any others doing that kind of thing right now. Can't wait to spread those wings and fly :)

Hey all. Found the problem. When I re-installed windows my Logitech mouse installed a PS2 driver on top of my Microsoft PS2 driver and was causing the problems. I uninstalled all my keyboard drivers and just plugged my keyboard back in and it only installed the MS driver. I am happy again. It was just weird that it was only doing it in DCS though. Cheers :)

I just re-installed the entire game into a new directory from the websites installer and cleared my old dcs folder from my saved games folder. Still not working. So, now I'm thinking that it must be something on my side with the keyboard. I'm going to try uninstalling my keyboard drivers completely and re-installing them. Hopefully that will yield positive results.

Alright so I deleted the entire saved games DCS folder so the game would recreate it and it is still doing the same thing. Anyone have any thoughts? Is there another generic layout file in the main program files?

Yea. Windows and all other programs function normally. DCS is the only issue.

US. It's actually really really old :) It a Microsoft wireless desktop keyboard from like 2001 or 2002. It's been a good one. I've tried to find where to specify what nationality the keyboard uses but like I said before, it only does this in dcs.

Guys I'm having an issue where the last few keys on the right side of my keyboard are slid over. I know this will be hard to understand but for example in game when I press the "[" key it shows as "AT" in the configuration screen. Other keys are as follows: "]" shows as "[" "\" shows as "]" "'" shows as ";" The reason I found this was when I tried to rearm my aircraft and the lalt+' does nothing. I know this combination work because I tried binding it to my center command on trackir and it recognizes the command as Alt+' This was tested in the A-10C and the F-15. Single player and multiplayer. Also my lalt key does work with other keys. Pretty much the whole keyboard except for those mentioned. I just saw the post about Alt+C not working and I just confirmed that my Alt+C is working. I did have to re-install windows this past weekend due to a failed HDD and this started happening after I copied and pasted all my DCS profile data to my new drive. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that as this is not an issue in any other game or during regular windows usage. Is there an easy fix or am I going to have to wipe it all out and start over? Thanks

I've done the exact thing a million times it seems and… guess what, I look up also before chatting and also checking the briefing. If that doesn't solve your problem then I've got no other useful information for you either. Good luck with your engine problems.

F-86F Sabre: will it feature LABS? Can this be done in the A-10C? I know you can use CCRP to do calculated release drops but all I've every used it to do is straight and level bombing. Would it do the same thing holding down the pickle button and then pulling vertical for a loft effect? Even dare say over the shoulder action?

I would buy it. I fly with the G940 setup. I love the hotas solution. I just wish the sensors were better. I think they should update the stick middle grey button and make it a CMS switch that also depresses and add a paddle switch for the pinkie. Make the throttle and stick metal. Widen the pedals. Force feedback is still an absolute must have :)

I'm almost certain that this is the last thing ED is worried about right now. And frankly I don't blame them if it is. If you want to impress someone with your time played, post a screen cap in the community page of your flight logbook.

I did the same thing. I couldn't figure out why my plane kept wobbling back to the left when I was clearly holding foot position. Then you get into that nice oscillation on take off that never ends well :)

That's kinda weird. Do you still have the takeoff assist on in the extra options for the P-51? You could be fighting the auto correct aid.

Open your User>Saved Games>DCS>Config Folder and you will find the network.cfg file. Open this with notepad. --------------------------------------------------- You should see something like this in a notepad window: connection = { "LAN", 1310720, 1310720, } player_name = "Server Admin" server = { disable_events = false, client_params = "motd=\"Welcome to A-10C server!\";", pause_on_load = true, public = true, mission_dir = "C:\\Users\\Jose\\Saved Games\\DCS\\Missions\\Ranger79", password = "", max_players = 10, name = "MidKnight Server", client_outbound_limit = 0, port = 10308, client_inbound_limit = 0, allow_object_export = false, integrity_check = { "Config/Weapons", "Scripts/compile.lua", }, } client = { history_size = 16, history = { }, } chat = { view_rows = 3, offset = 0, } ----------------------------------------------- Somewhere in the middle with all the others place this line: interface = whatever your vpn address is, (Example- interface = 25.194.246.31) --------------------------------------------------- I don't for sure know if this will work but it should... I think... lol. If you get an error after you put this line in, just delete the network.cfg file and the game will recreate a new default one. Let us know what happens.

I agree. Though you could use the sideslip approach but I find that it involves to many inputs at one time on the approach. I can do it but I prefer to just De-Crab before touchdown and call it a day. It would have to be one heck of a cross wind for me to use sideslip.
