  1. What about guys with CNC machines. What Cam program are you running for engraving? All I have is meshcam to work with right now and it's not ideal for engraving. Thinking of giving cut2d a whirl. Right now I am planning on using white acrylic for light plate and faceplate but you may have convinced me otherwise.
  2. I would be willing to ship but I bet it will be very expensive! When I get something finished let me know. If you can find a reasonable way to ship it I would be glad to try.
  3. No. Sorry. Next week. I have been really busy. I just moved the CNC to the garage so I can do some serious machining. Ill get some updates by the end of next week.
  4. Update! Firepull sent to Mac for input. My CNC is running strong. Just moved it to the garage so I can really go to town building stuff now!
  5. Kybosh has sent me! In reality I don't have much time for gaming right now but I would love to hop on your server some night soon! I hope to see some of you there! I aint scared!
  6. Maybe add a github for teensy and arduino type boards and there respective firmware. Let the community help out with those as well!
  7. Awesome! Thank you. I will do what I can to contribute!
  8. Nice work! Yea you def have some creative ideas going on!
  9. I hope to swing in for a while.
  10. All the equipment is here. Finishing working out my electronics. I should have a few days this week to finish up the prototype.

    A-10C Panels

There are a few guys making them right now. Off the top of my head check with thick8. I plan on getting into it but have too many other projects I need to complete before I start.
  12. Alright. Almost time to get back to this project. I am getting comfortable with my CNC. Check for updates in the next week or two. Finishing up another project.
  13. Small update. Awaiting time to cut my own PCB boards on my CNC for the lights. Should get some kind of finished working prototype later this week.
  14. Broke my first bit! Trying to run 3600mm feed through a screw holding down a piece of wood...... Snap! HAHAHA! Had to happen sooner or later.
  15. I don't run helios at the moment but step 6? Is there something missing there?
  16. Nice work!
  17. Ill stick with the old. I think I found a pic of the new ones. they arent much different. Do they have more lights now Deadman? MacFervre. I would spend another few hundred and get something bugger our build your own. That is a very small print bed and you'll kick yourself for not getting a bigger one asap. For about $600 you can usually get a stockish solidoodle 3 for that price. It seems your know your way around tools so something like a solidoodle wont be a problem. Its cheaper and just as capable as a $2000 printer. Just needs some tweaking and mods here and there.
  18. A bunch of random junk mostly! hahaha. It has its moments of usefulness. Here is some stuff I've made. Sometimes it really saves the day. https://imgur.com/a/t8Mtv What one are you looking at?
  19. Thanks! That is what I was talking about. I tweaked a few more things last nich and am more happy with the design. Now in game there are way more LED lights in the pull handle than the real one which seems to have only two? Maybe one in the middle I cant see. I only plan on putting 3 orangish yellow lights in there. I don't feel like soldering any more of those damn SMD leds in there! Maybe 3 of these http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/LNJ414K82RA/P13488DKR-ND/1845829 or any other requests?
  20. Macfevre Has shown one of hte forum users used acrylic with a sticker on it. Ill try and find the post. I plan on going that route.
  21. Im thinking now 3 yellow/amber SMD Leds on a small PCB? I have some green ones on hand. Ill give them a go later this week/weekend. That would solve the small space issue. I want to keep as much plastic on the handle as possible to maintain strength.
  22. Very nice! I wish I had the cash!
  23. Same. My blank PCBs should be here any day.
  24. Very informative! Thanks!
  25. Kind of. Not too much yet. I will review. I found an eagle cad component that matches my tactile switched. Ill tinker with it throughout the day when I have time.
