  2. world.searchObjects() I've searched the forum for this kind of bug. Since in this thread "world.searchObjects()" is called "fixed" at some point i'll post the error i found here ... world.searchObjects() is always returning a nil object as first entry. (So always one Object will be missing ... only exception is if none objects were found ... ) I found this error first some patches ago in the 2.x version. Now it'S in 1.5.x too. I attach a little script to show this behaviour. It works with any kind of "Object.Category". Well ... in case of "UNIT" you have to place some units in the mission first .. ^^ In my script Beslan is missing. Regards, WW Edit : Well ... that one was from the beginning an error on my side ... wow ... i still have the tendency to start counting at 0! :D

Sorry for "bumping" this thread but ... since the first point is now possible , you CAN order now patton tanks as commander in the acutal dcs version ... but the second point ist not possible ... I wanted to ask for an "update" on this matter. Is it sill planned , that the M-60 Patton will be once driveable in CA? Thanks in advance. :-)

  5. The +12 boost comment wasn't specificaly for you. :) As raz+r already stated ... the switch is beneath the elevator trim. You can even "save" the engine while its kill himself at 16500+ feet altitude. Like chuck's guide suggest for the "START-UP PROCEDURE" i always turn it on. Hence fly straight to 25000 feet altitude without any incident.
  6. Turn on Fuel Pump switch ... Btw. Our Engines doing fine all the time at +12 Boost...

  10. Mipmapping has been in use for years. I cannot say this for "clipmapping". As far as i see it, ED has implemented a "clipmapping" technique for the terrain. Hence i think it's about "geometry clipmap" : http://hhoppe.com/proj/gpugcm/ ! Regards.

  12. We just made another multicrew test with the albatros. We connected to servers were our ping lie between 150 and 300. Thanks to the new multiplayer extrapolation algorithm the "jet-disassembling during lag"-'bug' seems to be totaly gone!!! Its just plain awesome to fly multicrew now. I think 1.5.4 was/is (one of) the most important patch since a long time ... regards, da WW

Zeile 17 : objects_LOS_test = true, -- old value : false trees_LOS_test = true, -- old value : false Hatte ich vor ... puh ... ich glaube inzwischen zwei Monaten getestet ... Hat zwischen T90 und Abrams, welche Bäume in Ihrer Los zwischen sich hatten, sowohl bei den "Baum Modellen" in Nevada als auch zwischen den "Billboard-Baum-Reihen" in Caucasus funktioniert. "objects_LOS_test" für Gebäude hatte ich nicht explizit damals getestet. Kann natürlich nach den ganzen Patches zwischen jenem Tag und Heute wieder ganz anders aussehen ... außerdem ... Wurden diese Einstellungen vermutlich nicht ohne Grund (noch) nicht der Mehrheit bekannt gegeben. Diese werden vermutlich im Moment stark auf Herz und Nieren getestet. ... aber wenns Dir erstmal hilft ... ... ich hoffe Du hast eine kräftige CPU ! ;-) Viel Spass.

  19. I dont know if there were absolutely no issues. I dont look into every trigger before we play a mission! (spoilering ... ;-) ) But it looks like it ... We always only changed our own flight/unit, hence most triggers are bound to a flight group ... (Adding more planes to the flight is somewhat tricky though ... )
  20. Thats is not what we observed. Changing the slots from AI to client in the mission file inside the miz file does not circumvent the protection system.In fact only owner of the UAC campaign are able to join the slots if one of us hosting the modified UAC miz file for example.
