  1. Do the sentinels exist as a regular squadron or are they a subset of Maddog?
  2. Me too. That's what made me think of press/release on trigger one.
  3. Hi Dec, No, been around for a bit. :detective: Lots of questions on that and lots of replies. I think there was reference in one of the changelogs. If you have a two stage trigger, you may find it works fine to map the switch to the first trigger. Works for me on my WH. One less thing to think of when engaging bandits. Cheers.
  4. Wise men use the search feature because they are; Fools because they are not. :) Not Plato
  5. THIS! and . . . I will be more than glad to pay for this mod. Make it JSGME compatible and it is so easy to manage when updates are due.

    AUTO START

I was having difficulty with the last patch trying to start the aircraft. Watching the sequence of the startup after initiating the autostart helped me to locate the one switch that I had not engaged. I prefer to engage the manual start procedures but find that the autostart feature is a nice add-on for those that prefer it.

    Keybinding Thread

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Keybinding Thread

Great stuff Rlaxoxo - works like a charm in JSGME. One question: I have not been able to get "Previous Waypoint" to work. "Next Waypoint" works fine but not "Previous". I've tested with JS bindings and also Key bindings with no joy. Is it working for you? Thanks, Cats . . . .
  9. Will locate and check. Can you point me to the area? I've looked through the manuals and cannot find a fuel emergency shut of valve. Found it. Thanks for the heads-up. Starts fine now.
  10. No probs. Did some research and found the switches but . . . can't get the engine started. No prob pre-patch. All working OK. Tried my stick settings and also keyboard but still no cigar. Puzzled. Anything new . . . parking brake is on, everything else is nominal.
  11. Right, can't get the engine running. No probs pre-patch. Can't think of anything I'm missing.? Auto start works OK
  12. Totally confused here: Where, how? No start so far.
  13. See post 58 re: crosswind affect on aircraft comment - evaluating: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2754393&postcount=58
  14. Search key would help him a lot!
  15. I get your point about trim sensitivity in the F-86, but with the Warthog HOTAS you can make all kinds of adjustments to the trim input by using script.
  16. That may be a help but it does not fix the issue nor is it acceptable practice beyond a certain speed. Lifting off while artificially holding the nose wheel down for an extended period leads to disaster when the aircraft starts to lift without prior compensation for the crosswind. ie., rudder and ailerons to compensate.
  17. Azrayen, Thanks for the info good to know. Especially the standard use of AP. Curious how the approach AP will work. :)
  18. Yes! Same experience here on both issues. I didn't see other posts on the final approach phase so I thought it was correct behaviour - it does have a wavy approach and hard to keep stable within the brackets. Very sensitive to any slight pitch changes. My understanding of FBW is that if you place the VVI in a particular pitch, then the aircraft will try to maintain that pitch regardless of throttle changes unless it exceeds the limitations of the flight envelope? In my observation, this is not happening either on approach or level normal flight (needs continual trim input)
  19. Anytime. The questions I have - the quick-start missions need reviewing re: wind issues. And . . . . there should not be a need for aggressive rudder with the type of wind-speed even with the 90 degree crosswind. Some rudder yes, but not to the degree that you can't stop the nose from being pushed off the runway. Needs some work methinks on the flight model. (Rudder affects.)
  20. Open the mission in the mission editor and have a look at the wind direction. There is a right to left 90 degree crosswind. I changed that to line up with the runway and there is no pull to the left on takeoff.
  21. Mosquitos! Blackflies!
  22. Hi Ktulu2, On the shooting side at an F-15, I've completely removed a wing from the F-15 and it still flies and fights. This was 3 days ago in a gunso mission with me in the Mirage against an AI f-15. What I'm saying is that the damage model needs and is going to have a complete overhaul in DCS. It pales completely even against Cliffs of Dover for instance. Just a note here: there are two damage models - the one for the physical properties of the aircraft, and the visual graphics damage model. I think in some cases the physical damage model is ahead of the graphics model and vica versa. Not to mention ballistics calculations and energy transfer from the projectile to the aircraft components. I'm looking forward to it all coming together. :) Cheers, Cats . . .
  23. Same with F-15. DCS is having big changes. Damage model will be upgraded as part of the changes. Missiles also will be changed for effectiveness and much more. Hang in there and enjoy the ride. :) Cheers,
