  4. Thanks Joey, do you know how the specular shader is set in Max to get nice reflections as the "stock" DCS tanks ?

  6. Thanks guys, another quick render after some polys corrections (too much bump on the ground scene) I will continue modeling adjustments next week-end and look for UVMapping.

  8. Glad you like it guys ;) I've worked last night on the scaling, turret looks more accurate now. Didn't know that ED had done a new one, a friend of mine told me the same thing yesterday. Anyway, I started to work on this one to improve my 3D skills so I will go on... Don't know how CA cockpits work actually, guess it is .lua scripting ;)
  9. Hi guys, I've been working from scratch for some time on a Marder AA unit. Why I've chosen this one ? Because it has easy shapes and DCS one is quite "old fashioned poly" (guess it comes directly from LockOn) Here where I am actually, need a lot of work to finish it, (mesh, UVs, textures) may be one day I will release it as a mod ;) A quick render :

  13. Thanks for this :thumbup: Didn't know that the 512 or 1024 (without the sync ev. frame) was in fact a half refresh sync of the main screen. Do you know if there is a way to get 1/4 refresh rate ?
  14. Thanks for your reply, BUT, in the options, we can limit the resolution of the render diplay, not the FPS ;)
  15. Hi Pilots, just wondering if someone knows how to limit FPS only for TGP or Shkval (name also as "Picture in Picture" in others sims) I guess that an .lua file could be tweaked ? This would be a good way to improve FPS ;) Thanks in advance for replies !

  17. [EDGE] Bump Mapping ? hi guys' Just a quick question, Does anyone knows if EDGE will support bump layered textures ? I guess that specular maps would be ok. Thanks for your replies ;)
  18. I think because textures are not with mipmaps, If I'm correct, it is not difficult to convert them. Will look at this as soon as possible.

Hi Crazyeddie, that are really cool models ! :thumbup: I "think" that all the buildings "district" are hard coded in the Caucasian map datas and you can't just replace .edm files to change them. So basically, I guess that you only can add 3d objects by inserting them as "mods" in the Mods/tech folder (lua is needed)
