Wheel brakes don't perform as expected - Not realistic
GKOver replied to GKOver's topic in General Bugs
I was able to fix that problem by changing the checkbox "Slider" in the "Axis Tune" dialogue. -
Problem still exists. I am using the Open Beta of DCS World. I have also installed that on another computer. There I also have the same problem. Therefore, I believe that this is a bug. There also some other thread which report the same problem: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=228309 (this one seems to have a workaround for it, I will also check that) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234266 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=222433 (this one seems to have a workaround for it, I will also check that)

Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!
GKOver replied to Wedge's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am not using a track clipbut I have this problem now for a very long time..... I have tried ti fix the problem by using several USB 3.0 and 2.0 Ports as well as conecting it with a USB3.0 switch. I am very frustrated because in the past I never faced this problem for many many many years before. With other games I don't have any troble with the TrackIR. -
No solution for that because I am also have the same problem and only in DCS....

Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!
GKOver replied to Wedge's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Is there still no solution for that? Or am I the only one who has this problem? I have already tried it with several USB Ports 2.0 and 3.0. -
I already own one license for the F-14. If I would like to try out flying with my 6 year old son in the same F-14 cockpit by using 2 PCs in the same LAN: how this can be realized? must I buy another license? If I am forced to buy another license, do I need to buy it for another DCS-Account or can I buy it for the same account and login with the same account on both PCs?
-
I know. That‘s a pity because the Crew Pack would be less expensive. It seems that I can buy another F-14 license. But I don‘t know if this will work if I am using both licences in the same account. Because I will have only one account for two computers.

The Crew Pack is not available on the DCS shop site? I already own one license for the F-14. Cougar: Can I save my calibration into the firmware?
GKOver replied to GKOver's topic in Thrustmaster
But the stick also forgets the axis direction, not only the calibration..... -
If I am using the wheel brakes, they don't show a realistic effect. They don't decelerate as I would expect. No matter which plane I am using (e.g. F-18, A-10 ....). No matter if I am using key "w" or the brakes of my pedals. I am usually using nearly the whole runway for stopping my plane.... Sometimes the runway is not long enough..... :pilotfly: By sliding the plane with the rudder pedals, I am getting a higher deceleration...... How is that possible? Usually I would expect a deceleration between 0,5 and 1 g by using the wheel brakes. Therefore, for landing with 200 km/h, I would expect less then 300 meters for stopping that damned thing. There is nearly no brake effect visible for me. But If I am using the emergency brake of the A-10, it brakes as expected.

I have tried it several times to save the manual calibration (and the axe directions) of my Thrustmaster Cougar into its mainboard/firmware. But this is always not available anymore after I put the stick into another computer or after removing the Thrustmaster's software/driver. Is it possible to really save it into the stick? (I have also found http://cougar.flyfoxy.com/ccpcalibrate.php , but it doesn't really answer my question.)

New Z390 Build Upcoming - finally!
GKOver replied to dburne's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Show the world which performance is possible with DCS World...!!! :-) Please! Playing without a 4K monitor with your PC is like driving a ferrari in the garden.... :-) Besides: You can also "simulate a 4 K monitor" by your Nvidia system settings. -

Since we have the same graphics card (mine is not overclocked), it would be very nice if you could have a look at https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3761955&postcount=237 and would also run the test with 4k, high settings but MSAA switched off. Besides: I am also thinking about upgrading my CPU to your one, including overclocking. -
Is it really true? Let's suppose a i9-9000k and a RTX 2080 Ti feeding an UHD monitor. There won't be an impact for the performance if I will add another graphics card for feeding a HD monitor? I think that this will use more CPU power which is needed for both graphics card.

I have upgraded to the same EVGA graphics card from EVGA. But I still have only a i7-2600k @ 4,5 GHz. My graphics card is still being bored when playing in UHD resolution (only using around 50 % of its power). It seems for me be that we have an CPU issue or a CPU Utilization issue.... -
Some weeks ago, it worked fine with UHD resolution..... Seems that something has been changed....

Same problem is also being discussed here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=228126

Thanks for the answer but I am not searching for a possibility for getting the results (fps, CPU / GPU usage etc.). I already know these things. I am searching for getting a Standard load in DCS world by using a special / official track file or by starting a DCS World Demo which is not playable but only playback.
-
I would like to make a performance comparison between my current GTX Titan and my next card, the RTX-2080 Ti. Many many years ago, a Track-file has been included into the installation. This could have been used for measuring the performance of DCS world (benchmark) with the own hardware and to compare the results with other users. Could you please give me an advice what I can use for testing the performance of DCS World? (Many other games have a special function for testing that out...) I can only find a track file from 2016: "Mi-8MTV2-TR-Vertical Takeoff Demo.trk" And it would only be usable for users who own the MI-8 license.....
-
If I am joining a vehicle or a person in Combined Arms I can only see half of the horizontal and the vertical view. Several weeks ago this worked fine. I have also tried to fix that by updating the graphic card's driver. I am using 4K with "Full window" on and didn't change the graphical settings in DCS. Could somebody help me please? I think that this is a new bug. In a cockpit it still works fine.

I am also facing very often the problem that the track is totally different at a special point of time. E.g. it is switching to the back but not back again to the cockpit. Or the plane is just crashing into the ground. Does anybody know a solution for this?
