Yup, I kinda expected same level of detail with ability to count beyond "deaths" and regardless of singleplayer instant or campaign, or MP, but with ability to filter online or offline and maybe some export to a file :(

Polish president and politics die in air crash...
Renato71 replied to VMFA117_Poko's topic in Military and Aviation
Horrible tragedy Sincere condolences to families and to the Polish people from Croatian community. R.I.P. -
all missions that the pilot flies. Why then singular, not plural? Pilot logbook is VERY disappointing part :( FC1 logbook had more details.

Great work! I have something similar on my mind in order to salvage my X52, in case I will not be able to get new board. If I may suggest a solution for your X52 board - leave it in its original base. And, since it is not really needed anymore, you can cut it as you wish, right? So, you can cut it in half or cut out rounded shape and fix it to the front of Sidewinder base. You may also cut out that base as well to get better fit. You will end up with two bases in tandem. Extend wires from X52 stick to be able to connect with its board. When you're done with all rewiring, you may fit a sheet of plastic underneath both bases to make fitting more firm. Now, you have working controller in Sidewinder base. And there were some buttons on its stick, that are not needed anymore. And you have X52 base in front of the stick, with big hole on top. So, fit a small keyboard over that hole, and run their wires to Sidewinder board, to connectors where buttons from Sidewinder stick were connected. Accidentally, I was photoshoping last night to present my future wannabe project. My plan was to run a cable from new base to X52 base in order to connect X52 stick with its board, and new supplementary num keyboard back. This pic is only for illustrative purposes.

Just spreading the Yoghur... Yoda's teaching :D

As brand new user with no clues in programing I confirm that is works on a single PC, where I set up LEAVU instruments on a second monitor. I had not experienced any degradation in FPS, but then again the largest online game was about 6-8 players so far. If you cannot open any of the instruments (provided you know how to add them), then you may have the similar problem that was bothering me. You must be VERY careful with Java installation. I have 64-bit win, but I installed 32-bit JRE and then I copied 32-bit dll's from packages to 'Windows/SysWOW64' folder. Restart the PC and try again. Hope that helps :) PS - Any everything from Everything.zip should go to Config folder in FC2.

Yeah, I hate that bastard! He is using some sort of invisibility cheat, I can never lock up on him!
-
Hi, Any news on FC2 stats? Can that be done?

Thanks again to all :) I'll try to study this a bit more, in a hope that I could help somehow :joystick:

X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi, No, mags are OK. First thing that came to my mind as well. I've removed pitch sensor and placed roll instead of it, still plugged into roll connector, and it worked fine. Then I plugged pitch sensor into roll connector and it worked fine in both roll and pitch positions. So, it has to be related to pitch wiring on PCB. Either cold solder somewhere, broken soldering point, broken PCB line, or defective IC. I still had no time (read: concentration) to thumble with connector resoldering, which is about the only thing for which I have a tool to fix it. I was thinking about removing both axis from the stick and installing two pots and wiring/IC's from another stick. Or even better, installing this stick onto base from another stick (simpler to relocate stick and to install pots), perhaps in an extended form. Something like sticking this the stick on top of another stick (hehhehe, that sounds cartoonish). Then run wires from X52 stick back into its original base, so I could have some use of those three togglers. Pitty there is no FF - I could try to install a rod between working roll axis and monitor, for better immersion, hehehehhhehe :D Well, if no PCB, can someone recommend cheap stick with good pots? -
I see. Many thanks :) Another one: any way to make individual windows/instruments remember their last position and sizes?
-
Yeah, I've noticed huge advantages right away. In Fc1 I was not able to survive in a2a, averaging with about 3 deaths per 1 kill. Now I can make 6-8 kills per one death! In few of my first MP flights I scored 4 and returned to base without any problems, per each session. I even manage to get those low flying guys and survive the encounter, which was never possible (for me) before :) It is clear to me that I'm not all that visible to other players any more. Thats very interesting. Shouldn't it be other way around? Cos air is much cleaner up there, then way down, kicking your own dust and so on? What about graphical settings for Shkval? I haven't played much with that yet....

X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks for replies :) Well, I tried wiggling, bending, kicking, pulling and such. Components are extremely small (SMD), and IC is covered over with resin blob or something. About only thing that is accessible with soldering iron is connector, but I seriously doubt that will solve anything. I will try to desolder, but it is very tiny area, and lately I'm too tired for such a precise work. (i'll try to post a pic in a day or two....) -
X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
What, nobody had a short fuse and overreacted during a2a, throwing X52 into wall? -
I've already picked up names for them: Su-17, Mi-24, MiG-21, 23, 25, 27...

@GG - no prob, I know the feeling :) @jessi1 - yup, did all that, just like it is said in readme :) Guess what - its working! Guess what - it was all about java  Before I started, as I followed this topic a little, I knew that I had to have working Java. Now, I remember that I did check and that it was working OK, but I guess it was 64-bit JRE, cos I remember installing bunch of crap that is needed for browsers (java, flash...). So, I repeated procedure regarding java from the top, installed 32-bit JRE (and had dll's copied), and it is working just fiiiiineee :D What can I say, but... UBERCOOL! Superb work Yoda! Thanks other for interest and help! I'll go play now, see ya later :D PS questions: 1. What is the minimum required configuration to run LEAVU over network? Say, will it work on some old PC? 2. Is it tested on other OS's, like Linux? I guess it should work if java is working, right?
-
PS - Besides, whats that got to do with me not being able to start any instrument any more? Further note: I've installed 32bit JRE before starting LOME. Just now, when instruments stopped to appear, I've treid with 64bit and left 32 bit dll's. Then I used 64bit dll'd. No go in both cases. And, Everything.zip contains two more files then leavu.zip: lua_keys.dll and lua_keys_win7.dll. PPS - tested my java install online: Your Java configuration is as follows: Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc. Version: Java 6 Update 19 Operating System: Windows 2003 5.2 Architecture: x86 the last one is strange.... I'll go reinstall java...

Shouldn't it be enough to delete/comment dofile line in export.lua? I did both before asking here :( One more thing. Theres a file Everything.zip - there you have Config.lua where EnableExportScript = false ?
-
LUA should be running OK. I got tacview working fine, if that is of any clue to this problem. But, I've checked in F-15. Cursor is not moving scan zone, I have to move scan zone manualy. (I didn't knew that you can move scan zone with cursor in the first place.) Firewall should not be a problem, I suppose, no problem in MP. For IP, and other settings, I left as deliverd in zip, meaning localhost in LEAVU window. But, I've noticed that netSec.lua has "*" instead of localhost. I've tried *, lh, local IP.... Other... dunno :D FC2 english download version over english LOMAC, on fresh install of 64-bit w2k3. Running in fullscreen. No known issues with any other prog/app. I did not alter any keycommand in FC2, instead I use Saitek profiler for Cyborg Evo and X52pro (simultaneously, cos I got X52 with defective stick, but OK throttle; no problems in any other a/c). Also, Export.lua calls for Yoda_Export.lua, which is not in zip package, but I've copied it from Yoda Export.zip. Still, not working with or without. And, regardless to tacview script. I have no other modes or LUA scripts installed, apart from tacview and some graphic tweaking as described in Yoda's post in another topic. Of note, I forgot to mention in previous post, on first run when instruments appeared and after I moved them to second monitor, they flickered when exiting the mission. Did not flicker when entering mission. VGA GF 8800GT, AMD 64x2 4800+, 4GB RAM.

Hi Yoda, First of all, thanks for developing and releasing this application  Then, I'm sorry to say, but I have some problems. I've downloaded Leavu.zip and followed your instructions as per readme file. On the first run I was able to add all three instruments. Now, I'm not sure about starting procedure, so I started FC2 and then clicked Connect Sim. Nothing happened, button only changed into Connecting to sim... and stayed like that while I was flying in F-15 (singleplayer, instant mission only). None of the instruments were working. I started LEAVU on the same PC and monitor as FC2, then I moved instruments to second monitor (of a smaller resolution). On the second run I was not able to add any instrument. They simply wouldn't show up on the screen. Java seems to be installed OK. Do you need any further info?

1 - Being able to change ingame, yes. Having limited choice, no. 2 - No, it ain't. Its a CPU in my PC under the table :D 3 - ... and more flexible when someone complains. Most of the coop mission creators do not have an hear for a2g component :(

I have to say that it is very curios how devs ignored suggestions on intuitive way to list keycommands. You never list them with modifier on the end. You list them in the order they are supposed to be pressed. For example, keycommand: Num5 - RCtrl - RShift It is listed for "Cockpit Camera Move Center" Now, if you try to press it in that order, you will do many other things, cos: Num5 -> View Center Num5 - RCtrl -> Return Camera If not possible ingame, why was it not done in PDF's?

Bump this one! It would be nice to have a built-in config tool for server chat options, to disable certain messages, like "XXX took off from YYYY", and client option to fix the hight of message window. Currently on some servers it looks like NYSE report on teletext :(
-
Thanks Sov13t. I've just discovered the same, but no reason not to bump a good post :) Method works fine on Cyborg Evo.

Yeah, BUMP.
