Low fps while using MFD with Mavericks etc need tips
Renato71 replied to Kaptein_Damli's topic in Bugs and Problems
Jeez, thats even worst for FPS! Its almost like enforcing hardware apartheid  And civ traffic is totally useless! Are all those people really be driving around in the middle of the war that is of scale presented in an average MP mission? I also have problems with Shkval. "Zooming in and reducing distance" is lame solution, sorry, but I have to say that :( I mean, in a real plane, does Su-25T freeze or fall of the sky when Shkval pointed into horizon? And I agree with Kaptein_Damli - these things should be solved by developers, not by us :( Also, when turning Shkval on, in 99% of cases, it is pointed toward horizon at min zoom. So, FPS is bound to drop immediately. What if I'm on MP server with hi settings and many users Look, its like default setting for a device, and it having such a negative impact. Only temp solution could be a tweak (provided by developers) that will point Shkval at some angle toward ground or at some distance, when turned on. What if my sim is constantly crashing when choosing Su-25T? What would be the solution, "Don't choose it" ? -
Glad to help :)

Low fps while using MFD with Mavericks etc need tips
Renato71 replied to Kaptein_Damli's topic in Bugs and Problems
I hate this FPS drop, especially in MP. Game should be smooth from the moment it is installed, using only the options provided in game menus. Thingies like "play around with your cfg", "zoom in fast" and "wiggle your arse, wiggle your arse", are NOT the solutions. They are counterproductive. @Distiler - civ traffic is forced by server??? WTF? what was the idea behind that ?? -
And? How it went?

Try this, fresh installed 5 min ago .... This goes to HDD:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\f-15c f-15c.rar

Thats the most important thing

If only it was the same sub where the microphone was :D Sounds more like sonar capture :D "Acceptable" is not acceptable for sim like this. All that was needed to process the voiceover sound is - nothing at all! Cmon, lets talk Wags into doing his friendly voiceover re-recording :D That was like real 1-on-1 instructions immersion, where after few sentences I wanted to cut few slices of bacon, some onion, break bread with my bare hands, pop up a warm bear, burb loudly, and say "cheers! go on!", in a true buddy-buddy fashion

And now its official: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51956 Some files are HUGE! Su-27 videos are 1.21 Gb! Is Su-25T video going to be uplaoded?

I do not know how to implement custom payloads, but what was the reasoning behind this that justified expense of effort to be created? There is nothing but to agree with Bob, sad but true :( I hope that this will be fixed in the future, along with bort numbers. Meanwhile, I hope that server hosts will be kind to implement some sort of voting of whatever, for custom payloads in missions.

FC2 training videos for download I've just spotted that FC2 training videos are available for download through page LOFC2: Training Several more chapters are added to Training. Great word ED! (pitty that there is still that trainstation effect for voiceover :( )

Hi, I friend of mine cheaply bough X52pro in perfect condition, apart form one small error: it does not register movement of flightstick when pushed forward, meaning only front half of pitch control. It does register when stick pullet toward yourself, and full left-right movement. (this resulted in X52 ending at my place) After opening up, switching roll and pitch sensors and their connectors, we came to conclusion that the pitch sensor is OK, but there is an error of some kind on PCB itself. So, if anybody of you has spare and broken X52pro, with working PCB from stick (not throttle), I would be very grateful if you could contact me. Thanks in advance.

I agree. In most mission so far I was no table to find efficient payload. Under "efficient" I mean a simulated payload that is efficient in a simulated environment while flying a simulated airplane against simulated target. Any talk about realistic payload combination in a simulation is unrealistic. In real action you would use whatever you have and whatever is best in reality. In a simulation, you should be able to use anything the simulation offers without any restrictions, and choose among stuff that work best in simulated environment. If you want to simulate "what is available on that particular airport", then you should go 100% with that - there are different amounts of each weapon on any given airport. ANY weapon will run out eventually, but each in its own time. Furthermore, a pilot may return form a mission with some weapons. None of that is simulated. So, "available on airport" does not hold water. Unless you can employ some sort of airport management that will count each weapon that goes out and comes in. One of my fav things is to always have a Phantasmagoria, no matter if I have antiradar missiles or not. Cos it helps me pinpoint and classify SAM. My fav payload in FC1 was 2*RBK-250, 2*RBK-500, 2*Vikhr, 2*KMGU or H-25T, Phantasmagoria and (maybe) jammers. Now that is much harder to use Vikhrs, and that I have more buddies to fly and coordiante with, I would rather drop Vikhrs in favor of H-25L or FAB-500. There are so many fine weapons for Su-25T and they all go to waste. And what is the worst part - those are all weapons for most accurately modeled airplane! And now, some are for another great model, Su-25. There is no way that all mission designers and on all MP servers will have the proper knowledge AND EAR for best a2g payloads. Also, most mission creators and server managers make fun out of a2g, calling it shooting a fish in a barrel, and throwing some tidbits around for us to play with. Does anyone really expect that those people, that play mostly a2a, are going to waste any time to create payloads "per request" or even bother to support official patch for this fix? Why not enforce weapon per pylon instead of weapon combinations?

Yeah, me no happy. And SAM ranges got extended, just bought bunch of Strelas in MP

Been there, did that. Not working, posting here. Devs said, only 1.0. Not so, message says. Installed 1.1, then OK. What was said, not correct. Message says, LockOn 1.1.

Same problem here. I was flying Su-25T and I set up fist key (tilde on US keyboard, not on Croatian QWERTZ) to change waypoints, and CTRL+that and ALT+that for chat and friendlies chat. FC2 refused to accept all kbd inputs, only win reacted to CTRL+ALT+DEL, and then when I returend it was OK (thatnks for online tip on 104th to unknown hero). That particular key is "¸" on my kbd. See here: http://www.terena.org/activities/multiling/ml-mua/test/kbd-all.html#Croatian

jessi1, have you tried to run it as Administrator?

Su-25T All titles for Introduction (Part 1-3) are wrongly numbered 26 instead of 29 4.To take control of the aircraft or exit the mission at anytime, you can press the "ECS" key. <- ESC 38.You can take control or exit the mission by pressing the "ECS" key. <- ESC

Info is in first post: - installation progress in interrupted, not prevented - question mark in mission name - Chinese OS Take a look at the screenshot

OS on laptop is WinXP SP2, eng edition. I was not able to test on any other PC/OS. I had few buddies reporting this exact problem, and some installing with no problem. However, it is quite hard to get exact info on procedure or previous installations cos they are not big experts with PC and tend to express themselves... erm... oversimplified :D

I'm not making this up, installer is asking for FC 1.1. And I'm not the only one, below is a pic from another thread, the same pic as appeared on my laptop. If Phoenix above has got it right, that means that installer is installing something, and it ain't no FC2!
