@PoleCat & Grizzly Those are stand-alone boxes, not 1-2U rack VPS servers?

Flak in old sense, like in WW2, is useless. But if you can make that work in FC2, then you can have realistic AAA, cos 20-60 mm (most common mid calibers) use proximity fuses and detonating by timer. So far, I have not seen any effect in FC2 that will resemble proximity detonation. Unless I missed something (again, hehehe). It would be preettttty cool to have Bofors and Oerlikon cannons with flak effect :)

X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I've describes in first post, and few times since ;) In X52pro stick, there is an error of some kind on PCB itself. I need that PCB. Cos noone seems to have it, I've decide to combine X52 stick with a base from another stick. But, cos I haven't started yet, and it looks like it will take me a while, I'm still looking for X52pro PCB. I do not need pots of any kind, cos X52pro stick does not use pots for X/Y axis :) -

Wanna sell that AV8R? :D I'm not sure what you are saying about curvatures? Could you explain/rephrase that, I just can't figure it out :) If you wanna say that saiteks pots are fine, I have to agree, but my Evo is VERY old (my wife bought it to me the same month it arrived to shops) and extremely used :) This supplementary logitech base is almost as new, great condition, and I can replace pots later of if needed. On the other hand - I cannot replace pots in X/Y for stick on X50pro ;) -
X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks for caring, but has nothing to do with X52pro or my problem :( X52pro has no pots for stick X and Y axis, but a magnetos. And, they are not the problem, nor is the sensor, but a PCB. It does not register one axis, and I've decided it would be far simpler to relocate X52 stick from its base to another one, like in mock-up pic that I've posted here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=52504 And I have to do it urgently, cos my old Saitek Evo is nearing the end of its life, X/Y axis pots are developing more and more jitter and few buttons are not working properly any more... The best stick I ever had :( -
If I may add to confusion: What is BORE in English version, it is OPT in Russian version of FC2.

X52pro - need PCB board from stick
Renato71 replied to Renato71's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Spare parts only. I got me cheapo Logitech Attack 3 few days ago, pots look OK, but had no time to tinker with it. Still, rather have new PCB - now I have to work on it :D -

I'm still looking for electronics board (PCB) from stick... -
Is any available server in VPS form? Or only hard-boxes?

*.miz is zipped file with mission, options and a pic for briefing. Simply change extension from MIZ into *.zip and extract.

Maybe some ingame trigger for teamkills, retarded behavior and for low flying over base that would trigger your own air defense into action? Like, they will consider such player as renegade/rebel and shoot him down? Or something that will enforce "third" coalition on such player, so that he will become "enemy" to all players?

Cannot edit later on. I had the same problem, and received following answer:

Ayeh, I've dropped out few words - real Shilka has no search radar as modeled in FC, which is closer to Gepard's area search radar. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that original RPK-2 was not supposed to be used for 360 area search, but rather for pinpointing in a given azimuth/elevation zone. Sadly, also not portrayed - again :(

Ayeh, this thread has more descriptive title. The other one - I thought its about... dunno.. Didn't think anything :D

Conspiracy! Its all conspiracy!

Congrats on your work little-Dog! I've tested only few planes so far: - MiG-27K has cockpit from F-15 - Su-17M4 had cockpit from Su-27 - I think that Su-25T is better choice for both - Su-25TM cannot display/use TM specific weapons, although they are displayed when aircraft is set to AI (problem inherited from before, I remember Bobero talking about this issue). Most important thing - current up contains your personal setting, like stick, keypresses and so on... You better remove those ;) CheerS!

Su-25: Introduction and navigation 2.The Su-25 is powered by two Tumanskiy R-195 non-afterburning turbojet engines that provide a total thrust of up to 9,000 kg., which allows the aircraft to reach speeds of up to 970 km/h at low altitudes and 0.8 Mach at altitude. The maximum range of the Su-25 is 1,250 km/h with a maximum ceiling of 7,000 m. <- no dot after kg; km Break row between: 2-3 6-7 25. Su-25: Guns and Unguided Rockets (Part 1) Link for "25. Su-25: Guns and Unguided Rockets" should link to part 1 Break row between: 1-2 15-16 Su-27 17.The scan zone can be shifted 30 degrees to the right by pressing RShift , or 30 degrees to the left by pressing RShift /. <- quotes for better readability 19.Press RAlt + and RAlt to enter the anticipated target range. The range value is displayed at the bottom of the HUD. (Also related to possible erros in manual: ) In Keycommands_Su-27_EN.pdf: - - RCtrl Radar Scan Zone Decrease = - RCtrl Radar Scan Zone Increase = - RAlt Target Specified Size Increase - - RAlt Target Specified Size Decrease But this is not what this commands are doing. RCtrl-/= changes anticipated distance in steps, and RAlt -/= fine tunes anticipated distance. Su-27 has no command related to target size. 20.Press RShift ; and RShift . to enter the anticipated altitude difference between yourself and the target. <- "RShift ;" and "RShift ." 25.The radar has three primary modes that can be cycled by pressing Rshift I. <- "RShift + I" 29.The radar also has two detection modes that can be cycled by pressing RAlt i. <- "RAlt + I" Items 34-61 are also missing quotes for keycommands.

Looking forward

Su-25T 29.If you need to make adjustments to the held attitude, you can temporarily disengage the autopilot by pressing and holding down the "LALT + ~" (tilde). When released, the current altitude will be commanded to the autopilot to be maintained. Isn't it ATTitude in this part of lesson? 7.Let's take a look at the Weapon Readiness Panel. 8.The yellow lights indicate weapon stations that are loaded. 9.A green light indicate stores carried on that station. 8 and 9 are the same, and 9 is opposite to Flight Manual: 3-48: Weapons status panel The yellow lamps in the upper row indicate weapon availability and presence on hardpoint stations. When ordnance is launched or released, the corresponding yellow lamp goes dark. The green lamps in the lower row indicate currently selected weapons that are ready for launch or release. 21.The sensor can be slewed horizontally and vertically by using the ";" "." ";" "/" keys. <- [,], [.], [/], [;] keys (on US keyboard layout only) 21.Press E to activate the internal jammer. <- external jammers

@fzfq3m - lol, that looks so "Russian" :D Find some small plastic box or metal can that will fit over that "attachment", you know, something like those junction boxes for household electrical installations, spam can... I personally do not like X52 - too many rollers/slider, too little buttons for my needs. Also, they are spaced too far apart. Then, as I have to place throttle on my desk in front of the keyboard (too little space to place it to the left of me), when I move it back and forth, its angle changes way to much. What is "in front" when throttle forward, becomes "on top" when throttle back. And all roller are for someone with soft girly hands, and I do not have enough grip on my fingertips (that are as hard as shoe soles, after too many years working as electrician). I would like like to rip electronic out and make something real nice, using parts from a train :D BTW, any way to quickly disable/enable that step on full throttle/afterburner? It capitally annoying when flying Su-25/T.

Question of another kind - any tut/manual as how to use instruments themselves. I mean, what all those buttons do, acronyms, layout options and so on? I know few things, not enough to tutor others, but I may be missing something.
