Thank you for your reply. However, I did a complete wipe and reinstall and have been flying the Hornet for about 3 hours (until I got tired.) (From uninstall and reformat and then complete download of 60 GB onto the 500GB SSD to flying the Hornet = 1 hour and a half.) My drive is perfectly okay. (SMART info was included in my post before I uninstalled.) Thanks for your reply, though.

More info I switched my D: drive and my F: drive (both SSD's) and began again. This time the updater crashed with "database disk image is malformed" I suspect that to be the new DRM file because I changed the drive's location?

Cannot update due to IO error on F drive. Be advised, I currently run the game FROM F drive including the updater. BIOS SSD mode is set to AHCI (not RAID) History and photos attached. Be advised my system drive is C: but DCS is installed on F: and all my drives are SSD's autoupdate_log.txt
