SOmetimes for me, DCS hangs when exiting. I have two monitors so I click on the right monitor which brings up the Windows bottom bar. I hover over DCS icon then click the red X. For me, that seems to work every time DCS hangs.

Brought her in at Anapa, lined up on the runway, dropped the gear and flaps, and (yeah) she floated a bit. Touched down nicely. Not sure if I set up the AoA because I didn't do anything except drop speed, gear and flaps. One problem: no NWS. Diff brakes were light but handled it. Went to adjustments, found the NWS definitely WAS mapped and then checked the keyboard map for it: "n". The NWS was still unresponsive. Is there something else besides landing that I need to do to get NWS? edit: just read that the nose gear strut needs to be extended. I didn't try that. (I will next time.) Edit 2: found the problem. When installed, the Saitek rudder pedals were mapped incorrectly. Remapped correctly and got not only the NWS, but rudders, too! :)

Quite a few people not going to work today. Well, not to work on the real streets. Soon as the Kitty drops, we'll all be working on learning how to raise and lower the landing gear lever.:)

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with the sounds. Not really complaining because it IS an initial release. But I would be very upset if they just left it like this. I'm also watching the flight dynamics closely, as well. I got this module to practice real aerial maneuvers that fast jets can't duplicate. So far, I am thrilled with the CEII. I've waited for it for a long time and it's close to what I want. Please keep up the good work, guys!

Not sure where to put this so I'll try here. Several days ago, I tried Link 16. I put 4 enemy civilian YAK-40 planes up, an AWACS, and an F-15. I got all four bandits on the SA page in red angles. I then proceeded to shoot all four down. Of course, my radar could not find anything yet all 4 red angles were still on the SA page. There were zero enemy aircraft in the mission besides those 4 that were no longer in the air. Is this a bug?

A bit off topic but I need to ask: the Home Fuel warning is based on your takeoff location. Is there a way to (a) turn the warning off and (2) change the Home location (for example, leaving shore for the boat)?

CE2 failing to fly straight and level Must be a bug in the operator.

Been flying the CE2 for several days, now. Very difficult to stop.... Wifey worried that I'm stuck at the computer. Go into a 90 degree bank. Pull. Kick in some rudder. OMG, it pulls your ears down to your shoulders!

What about the internal engine sound? To me, it sounds so weak and nothing like what I hear on the ground from real flying Christen Eagles. And, from my (very distant) memory, the rev up and rev down was much quicker. Note carefully: I have no idea what the inside of one sounds like. And under NO circumstances does this post construe a complaint.

Does the CE2 even have rudder/aileron interconnect? This is a sport plane and... I assume... the luxury of such an interconnect would not be wanted. I have no idea. But I'm happy with kicking some rudder in the turns.

Locked up DCS with my own crash. I flipped over on the carrier (my fault) and I think I fell into the hangar deck. Too much smoke or sea spray? Anyway, DCS crashed hard. Log attached. I flipped over because after I landed (boated?) it was a nightmare trying to go from the middle of the flight deck to the stern. I turned too hard and flipped over. Then ended up in the hangar deck, I believe. New Compressed (zipped) Folder.zip

Are you crazy? "LIMITED"? Be it known that I will be flying this little biplane every day until the rivets pop out from old age. I think it was last year when the discussion began about including the Christen Eagle in DCS. I almost choked on my own spit trying to get a post in saying, YES, YES, YES!

I know that the default laser code is 1688. That may be an issue. I know that with live JTAC (human) the laser code can be changed.

The VMFA-251 server has a permanent AI JTAC lasing a bunker up around Nevada 63a and all the GBU's hit it (just as do the MavE's.) Unguided MK-82's suffer from terrible pilot errors. Need to get a new Multiplayer Pilot.

Not sure what happened: I was looking at the Christen Eagle and somehow, magically, my credit card jumped from my wallet and inserted itself into the computer and... Poof! the Christen Eagle just got ordered. Well, that's the story I'm telling my wife and I'm sticking with that. By the way, anybody know the address of the YMCA near Toronto? I was surprised by GlowingAmraam's latest video yesterday. GA always has great videos, of course. But this one has haunted me all yesterday and all today. I've watched it about 10 times so far. The music is a killer! The videography is awesome. The story is... ah, I've run out of superlatives. I was telling my wife about it and just recalling it gave me goosebumps. Wow.

I've purchased FC3 (twice) but now I cannot get the Su-33. It says I don't have the key. Was the Su-33 removed from FC3? Edit: I just ran an instant action and I found that I can fly the Su-33 but every time I launch DCS I get a blurb asking for the key code (which I don't have one.) Then it gives me something about the Su-33 will only be active for a couple days.

I believe I already know the answer, but: Is it possible to lock a threat from a distance and hand off the targeting information to a buddy, say, in the weeds and close, allowing for a popup attack?
