  1. Yes you where being lazed and you carried on flying towards them (when I get lazed I run and hide) they normaly won't hit you when you are flying at right angles to them but you where very close a too slow. If you do get in that close and you are being lazed turn and brake away at the maximun speed you can without losing your rotors.
  2. The Patch Download page is filttered at my work, is it because it is so awesome it is NOT SAFE FOR WORK.:megalol: Good job they have 100mb broadband here becasue im having to download the full version again!
  3. It doesn't look like anyone has mentioned it. To stop the yaw you were describing make sure you lock the target and turn on "AUTO TURN" on the left weapons panel. This will turn the front of the aircraft to face whatever the shkval is looked onto (make sure FD is off for this to work).
  4. Has anyone tried this yet? I didn't spot it on the improvments list.
  5. Also If it installs the 64bit version it will be in Program Files, if it installs 32bit it will be in the Programs Files (x86) folder
  6. yes ericinexile nothing has changed for me either between BS1 and BS2 but THAT IS A BAD THING becasue the trim for the G940 has always been broken and acts unlike other force feedback joysticks (Microsoft FFB) which relesaes the trim forces propely when the trimmer is depressed.
  7. Yes what Nate said seems to explain what they are experiencing (although something has changed with the input system because the logitech profiler has key binding issues where it didnt before). But is there any comments on the force feedback not going slack when the trim is depressed or is the ball in logitechs court on that one? (note: this is not a new bug but i was really hoping it would be fixed)
  8. There are a few options to use Ka-50 as FAC , yes radio, also marker rockets and SPARKLE (shining you laser which can be picked up visually with night vision goggles) A big sub-woofer would be good but i really want a Butt Kicker Gamer (but they are £150 ) The key binding don’t seem to have change much, but im finding with the Logitech profiler that it doesn’t reliably sent some commands anymore (which is a shame) not sure if it will affect the warthog profiler.
  9. Yes that is how it works in the real helicopter and that is how it works with the Logitech 3D pro and other force feedback sticks (I Believe) and that is how it should work with the G940!
  10. I found this to be annoying to but for me it is not a problem, you can edit the pilots head position in the .lua files but that is not what I did, since I always fly with the Shkval "projected on the bottom 1/3 of the screen with the camera export files. It improves situational awareness no end! Screen shot(the only one I have of it at work, its not a very good example): It is sort of realistic as if you were in the chopper you could use your peripheral vision to see the screen out of the comer of your eye.
  11. Because I had a nice fresh install of BS 1.0 (to Install BS2) i tried the trimmer on 1.0 and it still will not release the force feedback when the trimmer is depressed, it only releases force feedback for a mico second when you release the button. (I have to send repeated presses of T to be able to move the stick) This proves that it happens in every version of BS. I can't belive that somepeople with a G940 arnt having this problem I think I will go back to using my Logitech 3D Pro (with the G940 peddels and trorottle) and see if that works.
  12. I play with Scenes on medium (For performance) but the general look and feel of it is better, the colours (with HDR enabled) ,reflections and lighting is what I notice has improved the most. The new transport helicopter models are a great improvement, some of the trucks and thing still have quite low res textures which spoils it a bit. I think it is defiantly worth $20 just for a new campaign with English voice acting. I am also finding that it runs much "smoother" without the micro stutters when you look around with TrackIR (Probs becasue it is running 64 Bit) The Sound is amazing with my Dobly 3D headphones! (last night I flew the first new campaign mission where you have to follow a Mi-8 on partol and even If he snuck out of my field of veiw I could tell where he was by the sound of his rotors)
  13. your AI wingman doesn't stick to you like glue. if you stop suddenly he will over shoot and some times come very close to crashing with you. (as if there wasnt enough going on to worry about in a single seat attack helicopter!) I love the challenge!
  14. im quite sure that my G940 didn't do this before a certian logitech profiler upgrade. (but i could be thinking about my Logitech 3D pro which always worked perfectly) I think it is a driver issues and Logitech need to sort it out, but their updates for this stick have been so slow (even compared to ED). Edit: is anyone else noticing that with BS2 the logitech profiler will not fire weapons with Right Alt+Space and a few other comannds are weird.
  15. I have been checking the fourm evey day because I some how had a "feeling" this would be coming out soon. I Didn't really bat an eyelid at $20, its well worth it. It is downloading so fast on my work places 100 Mb Broadband line, I'm up to 3GB in only 10 mins! The trouble is im moving house this weekend so will not be able to play it. NNNOOOOOOOOOOO
  16. Are other pannels (like PVI and Flare numbers) now exportable?
  17. I hope they have sorted out these issuses with logitech, I can't wait to get home and test my G940.
  18. You could just copy and replace the vioce files with ones from 1.02. Im sure someone will make a mod.
  19. :megalol: that sounds like the best advice I have heard for vortex down-wash recovery.
  20. The trouble with Vikhr's in air to air mode is they often detonate relatively far from the target, this is why it is taking multiple missiles because they are not direct hits.
  21. Also note Vikhr missiles can be effective at much longer than 7km if you switch to manual weapons release and put a bit of height and inertia (air speed) behind them.
  22. I have made a full screen landscape iPhone version of Ka-50 Autopilot (tested on iPod Touch 4G) Here: https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=b379a...017F62A1%21346#cid=B379AD3E017F62A1&id=B379AD3E017F62A1%21346 Just click the small green button top right to initialise and the red button to close.
  23. Yes iPhone is supported by the software. As you said it would be hard to press all the small keys on an iphone, so iphone versions would ideally need to be make. someone has made a DSC A10 UFC for iPhone http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67476&highlight=iphone+ufc EDIT: I am thinking about making the auto pilot control for my iPod touch 4G and having it on my right had side for realism ( I haven't tried running it with my iPad as well but I think it will work)
  24. After some experimenting the only way I can get the screen grabber to display properly is to set it not to "re-size to fit" and capture 1024x768 this is annoying because it is bigger that I need and it will be sending unnecessarily large .JPEG across the network.
  25. I also assign a "shift" key in game (but only because the logitech profilers shift key didn't used to cover all devices in older versions of the profiler) , but I manly use the profiler for key bindings. Especially for Flaming Cliffs 2 where you would normally have to setup hotas profiles for each plane the profiler is a godsend.
