Any idea when the kneeboard's gonna go? We are creating a course on our flight school project for the MB-339 and want to provide the checklists with the course.

Ja die Frage passt hier sehr gut rein. Bei den Basiskursen die wir bisher erstellt haben sind nur die Prozeduren für den Strat der Systeme/Triebwerke, Start, Platzrunde, Landung und das Herunterfahren enthalten. Und die auch nur sehr abgespeckt, damit Neulinge und Umsteiger nicht direkt abgeschreckt werden. Die Advanced-Kurse werden aber all das enthalten. Im Hintergrund wird schon am Adv.-Kurse der F/A-18 gearbeitet. Allerdings wird es noch etwas dauern bis der fertig ist. In der Zwischenzeit hüpf einfach bei uns ins Discord rein und frag dort oder schau im TS vorbei. Es findet sich bestimmt jemand der dir weiter helfen kann. Komm doch z. B. mal am Dinestag Abend ab 20 Uhr ins TS. Da halten wir unser OFS-Meeting ab und danach wird u.U. zusammen geflogen oder Fragen beantwortet. Und Englisch brauchst du bei uns nicht können. Wird alles auf deutsch gemacht. LG Kalle

On the one hand some people were inactive during the summer holidays, but on the other hand a lot has happened within the project. In the German part of OFS: - The F-14 pilot basic course is finished and open to everyone. Please take a look and send feedback via PM to me. - The following courses are being actively worked on: - F-14 Basic Weapon Course - F/A-18C Advanced Course - Huey Basic Course - The following courses are currently paused for various reasons: - A-10C Basic Weapon Course. - Mig-21bis Basic Course - Su-33 Basic Course - Ka-50 Basic Weapon Course I would like to emphasize the basic course for the MB-339 Aermacchi. It is an Italian two-seater trainer which was developed as MOD and is available to all free of charge. This is of course a great thing for us as a flight school, because not everyone wants to buy a Yak-52 or L-39 "only" to learn to fly properly. The course is almost finished. In the English part of the OFS the translations run at full speed.

You can host OpenBeta or Stable. You just need to switch the version, e.g. with the DCS Update Utility.

That's not a part of ScratchPad. It is VoiceAttack or more precise Windows voice recognition. I would test the standard dictation mode in Windows and if the result is even worse, do the training again. I usally do the training 3 times one after the other. Then the result is good. As far as I know in dictation mode it is far more complex for the engine to recognize what has been said. But I'll try the mod with dictation mode in the next days.

First I want to thank you for this great MOD and you hard work! We are creating a course in our virtual flight school (OFS) for the MB-339. I want to take some screenshots with the Model Viewer 2. But it tolds me a lot of textures are missing. I tried "Tools / Mount Textures / Mount folder" and used the path "saved games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft\MB-339PAN\Textures" but it loads only 3 missing textures. Can someone help me please.

Morgen Abend werden wir uns im Rahmen der Krabbelgruppe ab ca. 20 Uhr treffen und einen Erfahrungsaustausch bezüglich DCS mit VR abhalten. Wir haben ein paar Leute die erst ganz frisch eine VR-Brille erworben haben. Ich werde meine eigenen Erfahrungen, benutzte Tools und Einstellungen gerne teilen. Vielleicht finden ja noch ein paar andere den Weg auf unseren TS. Daten und Password stehen bei uns auf der OFS-Webseite wenn man sich angemeldet hat im Dashboard. I posted this in an old vaicom threat already, so sorry for crossposting: "Connect Air Supply" does not work in F-14 of stable and openbeta since one of the last dcs updates. I didn't use F-14 since a couple of weeks, so I don't know which update breaks it. Before the update it worked like a charm. In game and VA log window I see this: Ground Crew: unable to comply, air source isn't connected If I use normal radio menu it is working. Please check it. Maybe ED has changed something internally as preperation for their coming carrier modul?

I'm not using it, but I've created one for me and imported the profile of VAICOM. So I can add command for the avionics without changing the VAICOM profile. And it works fine.

Sounds like you are talking about the game and not the dedicated server?!

I want the updates. White Flashs are gone, but some times the guardian is reset and I have to configure it again.

Since the last two oculus software updates of the beta channel I got it multiple times. But mostly when I start to play and then it goes away without any change.

Ich bin mit meiner Rift S auch zufrieden. Valve Index und Reverb hätten mich gereizt aber ich hatte das mit dem Ruckeln bei der ersten HP WMR auch und nicht weg bekommen. Hatte sie bei grover geliehen und nach 3 Wochen wieder zurück geschickt. Noch bessere Auflösung würde mich aber schon reizen. Vielleicht leiste ich mir die Index wenn mein Sparschwein wieder was dicker geworden ist. Wie sind denn die Erfahrungen mit der Index und DCS so? Gibt es da das Ruckeln auch? Ist ja auch SteamVR.

Hallo Damax, die Knöpfe deines Joysticks kannst du mehrfach belegen. Du kannst z.B. einen Knopf als Modifier verwenden. Ansonsten verwende ich VoiceAttack um bestimmte Befehle mit der Stimme zu steuern. Bei der TF-51 kannst du die Cockpitschalter mit der Maus klicken. Einfach hingucken und somit den Cursor drüber bringen und Linksklick auf eine Joysticktaste legen.
